Pros: Very nice car to drive, and people were curtious

Cons: I did not like that I was promised to receive the money referent to the petrol on the same day I returned the car and did not. I am not even sure I will receive the money referent to the tolls. They promised I needed to wait for 10 working days. I hope that will be accomplished. The car I rented had some funny constant noise. Very annoying.

Cons: They put a hold for 130 Euros for fuel and 100 Euros for tolls, which is fine. However, when returning the car, they only returned part of the above funds. They said that they will return the remaining after 10 days. This seems a bit too late.

Pros: Services offered as promised, staff were client friendly, no delay at pickup and drop off, except a GPS issue at pickup.
Cons: The GPS offered in the original car was not working. It wasted nearly 5 hours for us to wait at roadside before the GPS defunct car was replaced. It forced us to cancel our travel plan of that day.

Cons: Location not super convenient, but space was pleasant and easy to leave once we had the car. Agents shoukdninform that the toll service only covers tolls in Portugal, not those in other countries.
Cons: Rubbish. What company in this day and age don't provide overnight car return? given that flights departures get changed left right and centre nowadays? Never using again! Will not recommend.

Cons: waited 45 minutes for shuttle bus at the airport upon arrival. Competitor shuttle busses showed up multiple times in the interval I was waiting for Centauro. Car had some damage but I didn't mind.
Cons: I was waiting very long for picking up the car. When I wanted to drop the car I was informed about additional (up to 100 EUR) fee for extra cleaning as - in their opinion - the car was too dirty inside. And it was just after normal use. No liquids or food anywhere. No small children were in the car while using it by me. Just a normal use. I had to go to a fuel station to clean it inside. I did it by I do not like it at all. I will never use Centauro

Cons: The car had 10 damage points and the bonnet had numerous dents and bumps - so many that we couldn't check every bit of damage.

Cons: I didn't like the fact that the representative (Carla) didn't explain the toll charges enough. I used the toll road once a cost of 3.60 euros driving to my home town from the airport. I found a transponder on the floor of the vehicle I didn't ask for one. Once I return the vehicle I was then made aware of a 40 euro charge for using the highway. If Carla would have explained it in more details I would have paid for transponder. A 43.60 toll ride!! otherwise Centauro service was great.

Pros: I wanted a small car for the right curvy roads of Northern Portugal, and got an upgrade that I do not want for a larger car. I had to ask two different representatives and change cars a couple of times until I finally got the small car I rented / wanted.
Cons: That it took asking three times, and two different people in order to resolve the situation. But otherwise everyone was great, the car was wonderful, and drop off was very easy.

Pros: When I received my car it was actually a nicer car than the one I had booked, pick up and drop off were very fast.
Cons: Finding the representative was very hard, the ride to the rental location was terrible since there were too many people for the vehicles to fit, and cant drop off vehicle on closed hours unless buying expensive insurance.

All rental vehicles are equipped with a transponder that can be used for paying for all toll roads.
You’ll be charged a service fee of2.07 EUR day up to a maximum of 20.81 EUR month in addition to the tolls, which will be charged to your credit card after the rental period.
You may also be required to leave an additional deposit for tolls.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 75.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country. Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, flight information. Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle. A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon collecting the vehicle.
It is only possible to pay and leave a deposit using the same card.
If the customer takes the following extra equipment: Toll pass / E-toll device, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Visa Debit Card, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, MasterCard debit card.
The daily limit on the card used for payment must be high enough to cover the deposit. Otherwise, purchase of the following insurance policy(ies): Super Insurance is mandatory.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.
Maestro, American Express, Cash, Diners, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Andorra, France, Spain-Mainland.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Using a ferry is not allowed.

All extras are available at the rental counter. Prices vary, depending on the rental period.
It is allowed to add up to 3 additional drivers.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon pick up.
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 0 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
