Cons: As soon as we mentioned we had purchased insurance via discovercars and we wouldn't be purchasing the centauro insurance the agents attitude changed. No longer as helpful and short with answers

Cons: They give me a smaller car then wat I reserved. They did change it after I return it and complain.Drove 3 hours to that store. Second car ,engine light came on 5 days later. Return to the rental office and they give me another car. Over all a terrible nightmare.

Cons: Obwohl ich der einzige Kunde war, und darum gebeten hatte das E-Fahrzeug gegen ein Benzinfahrzeug zu tauschen, war der Agent nicht kooperativ, hat sofort und schroff mit "geht nicht" geantwortet. Als ich im mitteilte, das ich keinerlei Erfahrung mir E-Autos habe, und erst recht mit dem Laden nicht klarkommen könnte, reichte er mir einen Schmierzettel mit den 4 Worten "MIIO", und sagte einfach die App runterladen, alles andere ist selbsterklärend. 7 Versuche an versch. Ladesäulen nicht möglich.

Cons: W czasie rozmowy z pracownikiem wypożyczalni poinformowałem go ze mam wykupiony pełną polisę ubezpieczeniową i że nie potrzebuje dodatkowego ubezpieczenia. Pomimo tego zostało mi doliczone dodatkowe ubezpieczenie, na które się nie zgadzałem.

Pros: The drop-off was quick and smooth. We were given a break down of our charges for the tolls. We were quickly told that we would not be charged for any damage on the car (as there was none). Just an overall more clear and pleasant experience!

Cons: Very slow service when we first arrived and were waiting to rent the car. Did not go through a circle-check of the damages to the car, so we were unsure whether we'd be wrongly charged for damage we did not create. We were also charged more than what we were told we'd be charged online, and received a different (smaller) car on the day of our pick up.

Cons: Since they prioritize people who booked directly through Centauro, we never got to the pickup counter even after waiting for 1.5 hours.

Pros: Absolutely nothing since I was left without car.

Cons: I did not get a car. When I got outside the airport, the dude driving the shuttle said it was full and that I had to wait until he came back. I called support to confirm, as it was already 10.30pm. "Yes, just wait there", they said. He did NOT come back, and as I called support half an hour later, she said they had closed and there was nothing they could do. The flight was slightly delayed, but as I had shared my flight number, that should NOT have been an issue.

Cons: Very slow at the counter, and lots of extra charges for lies and made up reasons to charge if you don't take their coverages. They are scammers.

Pros: Car had a number of scratches etc, but this obviously did not impact drivability.

Pros: It was a ten out of ten across the board. I've never used a rental company where everything went so smoothly.

Cons: Literally no customer service available. We had an issue with the fuel level (full to full). However the car’s fuel level was only half full when we took it over. We tried to contact Centauro on their olime contact form as soon as we realised this a few hours into our rental. However no response whatsoever was received untl now. When we reutned the car we were told, that only customer service online can assist us.

Pros: The procedure is very smooth and fast, the agent was very kind and helpful.

Cons: A couple of practical hints about driving in Portugal would come in handy.

Cons: I booked a Citroën C4 class car but received a lower class Opel Corsa. The staff couldn’t offer a solution, and the car had less than half a tank despite the full-to-full fuel policy.

Cons: After we arrived to the Centauro company, we were waiting over an hour to get the car.. people who came after us were getting cars earlier even though we arrived on time. I had to ask the lady 2x what is going on. First time she just told me that I have to wait without any explanation and for the second time when I already came and told her that I am not happy, she took me immediately.. what a strange approach..

Pros: The car we initially booked was too small for our luggage. The staff were very understanding and facilitated an upgrade to a larger vehicle.

Cons: The car didn’t come with a charging cable, so we were unable to benefit from the electric power. The windscreen washing water was empty, however this was due to us being upgraded to a recently returned car.

Cons: The service rep who I had to deal with at the counter was just an absolute snotty douche bag who seemed very annoyed that he actually had to do some work to get me set up with a car. He kept trying to sell me things that i did not need and was just overall not a very nice person

Pros: They are second to any about policy with toll receiver hire. Best price, unbeatable fair. You do not pay if you do not drive through tolls. You only pay the day you drive through. Dame price than the competitors, but you don't have to pay for every day the whole length of the rental period, although they stop invoicing after a number of days. Usually 10. Definitely better and cheaper with centauro. I rented my car, a Peugeot 208 for 6 days, paid 10€ and nothing else.

Cons: I did not like that I was promised to receive the money referent to the petrol on the same day I returned the car and did not. I am not even sure I will receive the money referent to the tolls. They promised I needed to wait for 10 working days. I hope that will be accomplished. The car I rented had some funny constant noise. Very annoying.

Cons: The GPS offered in the original car was not working. It wasted nearly 5 hours for us to wait at roadside before the GPS defunct car was replaced. It forced us to cancel our travel plan of that day.

Cons: waited 45 minutes for shuttle bus at the airport upon arrival. Competitor shuttle busses showed up multiple times in the interval I was waiting for Centauro. Car had some damage but I didn't mind.

When I wanted to drop the car I was informed about additional (up to 100 EUR) fee for extra cleaning as - in their opinion - the car was too dirty inside. And it was just after normal use. No liquids or food anywhere. No small children were in the car while using it by me. Just a normal use. I had to go to a fuel station to clean it inside. I did it by I do not like it at all. I will never use Centauro

Pros: The car was full of bumps and 50k km so not brand new. The great thing I had a free upgrade. Bigger car for the same amount. I paid the full coverage to have more comfort and not to give ccard.

Cons: Old car. With loths of bumps so it was not worth to pay the full coverage. Closed when bringing back the car at 5am but they paid me back the gasoline coverage.

Pros: Car was nice great value once I found the representative at the airport it was rather quick to pick up the vehicle.

Cons: I didn't like the fact that the representative (Carla) didn't explain the toll charges enough. I used the toll road once a cost of 3.60 euros driving to my home town from the airport. I found a transponder on the floor of the vehicle I didn't ask for one. Once I return the vehicle I was then made aware of a 40 euro charge for using the highway. If Carla would have explained it in more details I would have paid for transponder. A 43.60 toll ride!! otherwise Centauro service was great.

Pros: I wanted a small car for the right curvy roads of Northern Portugal, and got an upgrade that I do not want for a larger car. I had to ask two different representatives and change cars a couple of times until I finally got the small car I rented / wanted.

Cons: That it took asking three times, and two different people in order to resolve the situation. But otherwise everyone was great, the car was wonderful, and drop off was very easy.
