Surprice at Porto Airport

Pros: The worst company in the world. They don’t renspond at phone, would charge 40€ extra because plane is in late, at the last they don’t give me the car and delte my contract.

Pros: Absolutely nothing

Cons: On picking up the car the agent seemed very complacent when checking the car. We had to tell him to take photos of damaged parts of the car and minor scratches. When returning the female agent identified the most insignificant of minor marks on the wing mirror. I couldn't even see it until it was pointed out to me.I certainly wouldn't have spotted it when picking the car up. The agent said they would release my deposit once I had paid for the damage. This is an obvious scam.

Pros: They were very good at explaining my rental agreement.

Cons: Charged me almost 200€ for something I never got.

Cons: Pick up from airport no real difind pick up point hard sell at desk for insurance and upgrade. Didn't get the car I expected

Cons: They don't take debit card for the caution. So we had to pay the full insurance in order to avoid a caution... we didn't want to pay the full insurance... but there where no other way.. Very bad experience. Also, the car only has USB-C plugs, so we couldn't use our classic charger to charge our smartphones... and the company surprice doesn't provide USB cables "USB-C to USB-C". So we had to buy one, and they didn't want to reimburse that fee. I think it is really not professionnal.

Cons: I was presented an insurance rate as high as the car rent. I felt fooled!

Cons: Really bad customer service! Never again will I use them. Paid way more than was expected. Car shouldn't have been rented with engine light on and limited speed. Pretty scary when you're on highway and car at times only goes as fast as 70.

Cons: Shuttle service was lacking. Would recommend a bigger shuttle and or a second bus to minimize wait times. This will become a bigger problem as you grow.

Pros: The service was good but not very good for value, we paid £620 for a week and I thought that was shocking and money we didn't have so we had to borrow it, the price wasn't what we was told but had no choice at 11pm at night with 6 kids so very disappointed

Cons: The address on the voucher was incorrect. Surprice cars has moved already 2 years ago. On delivering the car, the location was very difficult to find and a very poor road.

Pros: Nothing from start to Finnish as my plane was late . And I was charged 35 euros for out of hours although I was at the arrival hall 1 hour before I was picked up after hours took 5 or 6 calls and waited on the cold outside airport for shuttle van , disgrace

Pros: Unfortunately not much since i think i was scammed into paying more money than was agreed upon earlier.

Cons: The agreed total sum was unfortunately 1,5 times upped and for that reason i had to pay 2/3rds of inital payment extra to get the car i booked. The claim was that my credit card payment was blocked due to multiple trials on site but since the payment went through the time i had to pay more money i was not convinced. Also at the same time at least 2 other groups were hustling with similar problems and were about to pay more than initially agreed upon.

Cons: Very bad explanation at pick up desk , very unclear explanation about motorway payment system , unfair management of insurance policy contract , additional cost to the original agree rental fee , inflexible payment system just based on a credit card that thanks to the bad internet connection system failed

Pros: Drop off was very fast and easy.

Cons: The rental agreement process takes over and hour. You have to pay extra for all kind of hidden charges.

Cons: no one available for return, took quite a while to return the car.

Cons: We received the vehicle with empty gas tank and there was no shuttle to get us back to airport.y

Pros: Clean and new car, location next to the airport - realllllllly close and drop off procedure - really quick one.

Cons: They do not accept American Express card and there was a little failure with the car (underneth the car) - it was not marked in the protocol, but I noticed that and they included it, how knows what would happen if that info would be not there.

Cons: The car was all scratched and the agent didn’t noted all of them on paper. Conclusion of it, I needed to pay for a scratch that was on the car already! Very careful with the agents and control always the noted points one by one....

Cons: I think the cost of full insurance was over priced, especially when they said I had to leave a further deposit, plus a different deposit for the road tolls. I still have not received any notification for the returned deposits ! - poor, don't you think.

Pros: Efficient check in and out.

Cons: The car that was promised on the contract was not immediately available and I was given an "upgrade" to another car w/o consulting with me. Fortunately, we resolved the issue when the promised car was found on the lot.

Pros: It was very easy. The Staff was working in full speed on the day I was picking up the car and I had to wait a bit (30 minutes) to pick up the car. On the check it wasn’t detected by me or the staff that the frontal window had a puncture. Gladly when i’ve mentioned on the delivery upon the detection by another member, they took my word for it. I’m thankful for that since I wasn’t the person responsible for that issue.

Cons: Nothing to point out. This my first experience thought me that I’ve to take pictures on every detail. I had plenty of them, but none of the car windows in detail.

Cons: The financial closing of the rent, only closes in two weeks, for example, toll charges.

Pros: Straight forward , easy to speak to , and efficient with good quality vehicles

Pros: Reasonable pricing, friendly stuff. Everything worked as it is supposed to.

Cons: There were quite a few "add ons" that I wasn't aware of such as the extra set price of the tolls and also a high deposit blocked on my credit card

Pros: The agent spoke English.

Cons: We had to wait to drop off the car. The car was dirty and that could have hidden pre- existing damage. The cars are NOT at the airport. Had I not had photos, I would have been charged for pre-existing damage.

Cons: We waited in a queue for over two and a half hours to collect our car. It was in a very hot and stuffy warehouse and the SurPrice staff were overwhelmed by the numbers of pick ups and drop offs.

Pros: Assistance with downloading a local way-finding app.

Cons: Understaffed at both pick-up and return. Instead of the agreed full fuel at pick-up and return it was 1/4 fuel at pickup and no certain way to match 1/4 fuel at return, meaning that fuel returned was in excess of 1/4 full (1/2) to avoid dispute or delay in catching flight out of airport.
