Cons: they ripped us off making us pay way much so we could leave the country by car. the fees was half of the fare we paid for the car and they sxared into paying by saying the police will take the car away when crossing the borders. the comoany has heap car rentals but overcharges for every single thing that they can add on top and then actually quite a lot. to bring the car back a few minutes late they make you pay 170 euros with the category of car we had.some staff was very unfriendly.

Cons: The car stank of cigarettes, when I took the car I asked them to replace the car because it was really bothering him and they wouldn't agree, saying they didn't have another car to give me. It really bothered me the whole time

Pros: The agents that work in the Porto office were great, the agents in Lisbon were not.

Cons: The car was dirty, the Android auto service did not work. I ended up paying more than was agreed on the app than when I arrived. The drop off service in Lisbon was average, the people were not as friendly and helpful as the Porto office.

Cons: The car was returned with a full tank yet the return sheet said it was empty. We could not find the return rental location at Faro and met the agent in a car park near the terminal. It felt very unprofessional. There is no way for me to contact Record Go as the emails they have sent are from no-reply email addresses.

Cons: Waiting for the shuttle at the airport, but there is no clear information about the waiting point. I tried dialing the phone numbers in the booking, but none of them were answered. Finally, the shuttle arrived, and everything was okay.

Cons: Record go sucks. They are scam artists, who will screw you over and take advantage of you. They told me the full coverage I already paid for through discovery wasn’t actually full coverage and I needed to buy additional coverage that ended up costing $600

Cons: When I picked up the car, it was throwing an error to Change the Oil. After few days the car started to have an air pressure problem with a tire, had to reinflate it couple times. Finally, missinformation at the reception desk, really poor phone support (called them around 100 times) and no response via email after 3 weeks and 3 reminders.

Cons: Record go scammed me, said I damaged the car when I haven't, plus they took 300quid plus out of my credit card.

Cons: We couldn't use our debit card to put the deposit hold on, which we have done with car rentals in multiple european countries so we know it's possible. If we didn't have a credit card we had to pay an extra 400 euros which is absolutely ridiculous. We also didn't know about the extra for all the tolls. Guess these were all well hidden under tiny T&C's. Absolutely would never book again. Wasted our time and we cancelled our reservation. No deposit returned. Guess this might be an ongoing trap.

Cons: Record Go charged me €200 Euros for dropping the rental vehicle back at the rental location and putting the keys in the key drop box. They called it an abandonment fee. I could not wait until their opening time of 7am as I would have missed my flight. Im very disappointed with this. As I left the car right at their front door and the keys were secured, there were zero issues with the condition of the car AND I had purchased the extra insurance that would have covered any damage anyways.

Cons: Tried to charge me an extra 117€ for insurance, when i refused as i had full insurance from Discovery he basically told me if i get 1 tiny scratch it would be £800 out of my £1500 deposit at least. Worried me the whole time i was using the car. Also, had to queue up for 45 mins to return the car in the queue with people collecting theirs. They could do with a separate desk for returns when its busy.

Cons: The service at pick up was indescribably bad. There was a ticket system for the 30+ people waiting but many people were served before us who came in later. The process took nearly two hours. Completely unacceptable. I am waiting for my significant deposit to be refunded.

Pros: In dropping of car, person in charge was really respectful and ready to support.

Cons: In dropping off the car, the shuttle bus driver inserted my luggage in car respecting FIFO. After me, came a family of 4 persons. He gave them priority and let them enter in car giving me no space to take the car. He left with my luggage in the car and make me wait for 30 extra minutes neglecting any priorities or my plane schedule. He was very rude. But finally, he presented his apologies and I catch my plane.

Once you arrived, you have to wait more then 30 minutes before an old van comes to pick you up. - Time spent picking up the car: 2,5 hours! - with only 3 customers in front of us. It does say something about the efficiency of the company: it seems after every customer they have another 30 minutes coffee-break. - Unfortunately the paper to point-out the damages on the car was to small.

Pros: This company is more concerned to keep your money than trying to helping you to get you a car. If something goes wrong with your flight, be prepared to deal with car rental issues on your own. You are in a different country, at airport and with no car and its 11pm and you call for help, the answer from this company is, send us an email and someone will get back to you withing 48 hours. This is not a company that you can count on.

And they make the reservation for 10 days of when I returned the vehicle I request credit for the ten day . They denied. Asked me for a 100 $ deposit for fuel and they charged on my credit card 100$ extra for fuel even though the fuel tank was full at the time of the return. The total estimated rental initially was around 600$ for 9 day ended aprox 1200$

Cons: The bus took to long to pick up from the airport When i return the car both agents were nor very professional, they kept me waiting while wandering off doing others things, after droping the car again they kept me waiting in the bus for a long period and every time myself and the other passengers complain they just ignored us, when one of the agents dicided to take us back to the airport she left us on the arrivals insted of departures.

They stayed on and ensured we had the car before they went home after a long hot day! Can’t recommend the staff highly enough!

Cons: A conduta da empresa é duvidosa, te forçam a adquirir vários seguros / serviços, se não o fizer dificultam ao máximo para não levantar o carro, inventam regras no balcão que não constam no site de aluguer. Não consegui levantar o carro, senti total despreparo e descaso por parte dos funcionários e empresa. Cuidado com o cartão de crédito no balcão...

Cons: We could hardly find the transfer bus, then I waited more than an hour in the queue to be able to pick up the car, they convinced me the insurance I had would not cover my costs although I had full insurance made with DiscoverCars, and last but not least I haven't received a bill containing all the costs I have been charged.

She tried the hard sell on me, saying I need to take out additonal insurance as if the car broke down for any reason whatsoever that I would have to pay to get it towed, pay to get it fixed and then claim it back from them if it were not my fault. They also wanted 85 euros to activate the road toll device even if you only use it one day. I tried to add this for the last 2 days and was told on the phone by another unhelpful

The service nr machine was only in Portuguese, the screen of the current nr serviced was seen only at the side so we didn't even know it existed and only 4 of 6 desks were servicing in rush hour. Lost 2 hours of paid car and the noon of our Saturday, when we had only two days to visit the places we wanted. Never been so frustrated before. I even wrote an email to rent the car for one more day and they never responded.

Cons: Didnt have any clear clause that the rental fee and the insurance credit card block had to be at the same card. However, they did not allow me to proceed with the rental fee payment on another card, which made me spend many taxes from overseas card. They don't have a drop-off teller, therefore, there is a long line waiting together with the pick-ups. I was the only drop-off and took me about an hour to conclude the drop-off.
