Pros: The drop off in Faro was quick and friendly despite many negative reviews regarding damages

Cons: The agent in Porto was rude and non cooperative. She kept pushing to sell a very very expensive insurance which I did not need

Cons: They tried to over charge me on pick up fee I had to show them proof. They were trying to pressure me into insurance saying I got partial mandatory insurance that would make it so my credit card didn't cover it. Which I refused all when clicking. At drop off, the guy said we had damage to vehicle. I showed him video proof those were there before. He said they must have been missed undocumented and to keep the video but I won't be charged. Get home and recieved email I'm being charged for damages

Cons: They use your deposit money €2100 for 30 days before they return it. Even though you returned the car without any scratch or acident. That is not acceptable. Because of that, you have your credit allowance reduced €2100 for 30 days.

Cons: I feel that they try to sell you their additional insurance which is quite expensive. Basically, their try to scary you into it. We had brought full coverage insurance ( at least that is what we were sold) but they said they had no idea on what our insurance was to cover. I think that this is something that most insurance do, but traveling abroad, you are typically unsure on what is covered.

Cons: 2 coisas que não gostei. 1- o caução demora muito para ser desbloqueado, tive que ligar para pedir que liberassem o primeiro caução. 2- o valor da via verde obrigatório. O cliente não tem a opção de não usar. Em outras locadoras, tenho a opção de querer ou não usar, e se escolher usar, pago apenas o dia que usei.

Cons: Eles exigem o pagamento da tag para o pedágio no valor da quantidade de dias, independente se a pessoa vai usar ou não. Também o caução demora muito para sair do cartão. Em várias outras empresas que já aluguei, sai no mesmo dia o caução do seguro, já que não houve nenhum sinistro. No aluguel anterior, tive que ligar para pedir que liberasem o limite, já que tinha passado 6 dias úteis.

Cons: The transponder for the toll and expressway was attached to the windscreen using Scot tape and kept on dropping. The seat belt tensioner kept on getting stuck. There were times when I had to drive without seat belt until the tensioner released the seat belt only after the car moved.

Pros: The one guy that arranged everything for us. The rest of the staff was either impolite or insolent.

Cons: The staff at Porto was extremely rude and disrespectful except one guy. The front desk man even said to me to stop complaining after I told him they didn't gave us the right type of car (it was a definit downgrade from what we reserved, it was way smaller).

Pros: Agent helpfulness and the quality of the car.

Cons: The wait time upon arrival at Green Motion was TOO long. A couple of things to consider: a) more staffing at peak times (while we were there the agents increased from 2 to 3 and I'd argue there should have been 3 working the entire morning) b) more online ability to populate information that is done AT THE PICKUP location so the pickup time is more frictionless. Look at ALL the things the agents do onsite and ask "what can be done by the renter online vs the agent".

We hebben geleerd dat je beter rechtstreeks zoekt in het dorp waar je logeert , is veel goedkoper en super service.

Cons: I booked a Seat Leon but was given a Peugeot 2008 instead. The Peugeot didn’t even have an armrest and is clearly a lower-class car than what I expected.

Cons: I think Green Motion is trying to bill me twice for their insurance over the full coverage I bought through Discover Cars. Long story. Only later did I read negative reviews about Green Motion. When traveling, I had no internet, and their locations (in Porto and in Lisbon) were hard to find.

Cons: Terrible experience to start with. Had an argument with the rep as my credit card expired 2.5 months upon drop off day and they refused to provide any solution stating it needed to be 3. Wouldn’t accept another 1 After leaving and trying to contact your customer services I found the voucher, where it said the credit card only had to be 2 months prior to expiry. The rep was still arguing trying to show me his terms. He then tried to give me a manual when I wanted auto and questioned me on this.

Cons: in a country with small towns with narrow streets, I was given a huge SUV as something similar to the small car I'd reserved (I was traveling solo and wanted the smallest thing I could get). They wanted to convince me that this was an upgrade, but it wasn't. In addition to being difficult to get around town and find sufficiently wide parking spots, the car ate so much gas! If you factor in fuel costs, renting at another company would've been cheaper!

This directed us to a call center in Lisbon where we were bounced around between representatives and, finally, promised a call back when they identified a nearby service provider. We waited for over an hour but never revenues a callback. We then reached out to roadside assistance several more times, but the same pattern repeated with each call.
