Pros: Nothing... I will not take Avis anymore in the future.
Cons: Avis' services have been a nightmare : the convertible car reserved was not available and we lost one hour at the desk waiting for a solution but nobody really took care of us. In addition to this, the car delivered to replace our booked one who completely dealigned with our needs and was clearly dirty. This is a shame.
Pros: Because they couldn't give me the car I ordered, the one we were given was a gas guzzler, do they did give me a free tank of fuel.
Cons: Long lines to collect which took ages after a long journey.
Pros: Very smooth collecting car until the exit, we spent over 30 mins trying to leave the airport as only one agent operating the barrier to leave with the other 2/3 closed.
Cons: Car was not in great condition, not very well valeted and took to long to exit the car park

Cons: No one to return car to, I had no idea if they even registered the car return until after several calls to Avis HQ.
Pros: Good customer service rep, decent car allocated and easy to pick up and drop-off car
Cons: Car dash board and steering wheel did not appear to be clean. I had to clean them several times and disinfected the wheel and controls. There was no evidence that the car was disinfected for COVID purposes- no labels or signs etc.
Pros: No queues at the desk , returning the car was efficient.
Cons: As soon as they heard my English accent they told me that I needed the toll pass. When I told them I wasn’t going on toll roads she told me every main road in Florida was a toll road . When my American wife questioned this she continued to lie even though she had clearly caught in a lie . I did 1800 miles in two weeks all over Florida, not one mile on a toll road . Also tried to fob me off with a minivan when I had paid for a deluxe SUV , told me they had no SUV’s , another lie, terrible service

Pros: You always need to keep in mind that some extra cost will follow. In our case it was toll-pass Extra cost almost 120 dollar for 12 days.

Cons: Well you know that nowadays most of things are automated and thus none is there to actually give you or explain you the car details and I needed to go for an Avis rep and he needed to ask by the radio for help to another rep to be able to understand together how to open the trunk of the car...as it is hidden in the tail flash light and I wasted like 30 minutes to get this done

Cons: The fact that I had a complaint about their negligence.
Cons: I did not like that the rental agent was unable to explain the pros and cons with a eToll ”fastpass”, how the toll system works and how much it would cost with a prepaid option, which I ended up with not ever understanding if this was an unnecessary expense of about $100. Agents need to know this better (know how to drive themselves;) Also, I never got a confirmation email after the car was dropped off, which the drop off agent told me he would send. He did not check status of car and gas.

Pros: I was worried that it wouldn't work as promised, since the price was way cheaper than booking directly with the rental company itself. Everything went well.
Cons: Still had to pay something when returning the car though. Something with used battery and tires and such kind of bs... This was the case for Avis though but it should be mentioned. Still cheaper than renting directly.
