Pros: I tried to have the car booked, Nissan Rouge, but was not possibile.

Cons: The drop off service was terribile. No Dollar employee present during office time at Key West Airport. Only a key return basket available at the Hertz counter. My contract is still open, 10 days after car drop, because nobody sent me yet a statment of charges to confirm the rental balance.

Pros: The car was clean and functional.

Cons: This was a horrible experience during pick up and drop off. There was extremely long and slow lines at MIA airport. Then when dropping off the car in Manhattan, we were told the drop off location had been moved 2 weeks prior. None of the emails mentioned this. When we arrived at the second dropoff location, it took about 45 minutes and there was an extremely long line of drivers in a busy NY street. On top of that the cost was ridiculous, about $1,600 for a 3 day rental from Miami to NY.

Cons: I complained for an ants 🐜 problem in the car, they were everywhere.So I contacted the service and asked for replacement. but only after 10 days , after I returned the car, I got the response, very Bad service. And what was the response? To tell me that they properly clean and sanitize the car before it is released to customer, ….. Why should I care what they usually do. In my experience that wasn’t the case.

Rental Conditions

Rate includes
Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Airport surcharge, Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications, Customer Facility Charge (CFC), State Tax, Surcharges.
Rate excludes
E-Toll is not mandatory, however, all of the rental cars are equipped with a SunPass/e-toll transponder that is glued to the windshield of the car and is not removable.
Prepaid tolls are available for 8.99-21.49 USD per day.
Personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
If the customer declines Toll pass / E-toll device, a penalty of 15.00 USD for each toll used in addition to the cost for each paid or unpaid toll will apply.
Please note, that it is difficult to avoid Toll Roads while driving in Florida State, so it is highly recommended to activate Toll Device offered by the provider in order to avoid violation charges (up to the full amount of security deposit). Note that it is not possible to use personal Toll device or pay on spot.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Alternatively, for rates that include Fuel Purchase Option the first tank of gas is included. Customers do not have to refuel the vehicle prior to return.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 62 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.

The supplier will hold the vehicle for 29 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
