GO Rent A Car at Miami Airport

Pros: I didn't like anything. A month in advance I reserved my car. And, when I got there, they didn't have the car to offer me and on top of that they charged me an extra amount for a lower model car than the one I had booked.

Cons: I was forced to use the rental company's solar pass. I was charged $25.99 per day. I could go back to the airport and rent another car from another company, however, I have two children and I had a deadline to get to Orlando so I could check in at the hotel. And by doing so they would not refund me the money I had paid for the reservation. Anyway, it took a long time to pick up the car and I had to pay practically double what was agreed when I booked the car. The service was TERRIBLE.

Pros: The car was clean, got great gas mileage, and return was quick & easy.

Cons: Arriving to a canceled reservation though we had called to confirm, spending over an hour at the rental desk to get a new reservation and work through the issues.

Pros: the service was terrible, I had already taken out full discover car insurance and they still wanted to charge them for another insurance.. I couldn't use my sun pass I had to use theirs and it was $14.99 per day… it took a long time to collect the car too.. go rent car I don't recommend it.. and was charged more than the recommended amount..

Cons: They forced me to take additional insurance, saying that they would not give me the vehicle if I did not take additional insurance. I had to pay 540 dollars and get additional insurance.Even though I have full coverage insurance from Discovery Cars.

Pros: Awful. Unexpected charges and small print that cost $700 more once we got the car.

Cons: Scammers. Do not rent from them. I have full coverage insurance through progressive and was given a price of $130 for 3 days and when I got there (which I had to Uber to because the shuttle was non existent) told me I needed to place a $1000 hold on my card and the price would be $450 because of the toll pass and because they didn’t accept my insurance. DO. NOT. RENT. FROM. HERE.

Pros: They don’t monetion that you have to pick up the car with 60 minutes of the time you reserved. So, if your plane gets delayed you will NOT have a car.

Cons: We waited almost 2 hrs to get the car by the time shuttle comes It took forever. I don’t think it’s the employees fault I just think they have a very slow system. Maybe you get what you pay for . Also when dropping off the car a very nice women came out to view the car and she asked me if I spoke Spanish and I did not and she spoke no English which is fine but we were trying to talk about the car so obviously this was a small problem . I just ended up leaving because I needed to catch a flight.

Pros: There was absolutely nothing to like about Go Rent A Car except the final moment when I escape their clutches.

Cons: No signs whatsoever. This is such a horrible business that they don’t even have a sign at the business or the airport. I had to call to find out where the shuttle picks you up at the airport. When it finally arrives and takes you to the location expect to wait hours to get to the front desk. Then prepare to spend 500% more than what they quoted. They forced me to buy additional insurance. They forced me to buy a toll pass. They told me the insurance I bought could be canceled but that was a lie.

Cons: Hidden fees, car was junk. Had slick tires barely even safe to drive on. All kinds of warning lights flashing off and on, door came open twice when i hit bumps, at 70mph the car shakes so bad, Bluetooth radio not working and roof leaked, and car had very strong marijuana smell that was so strong it made me sick to my stomach

Cons: Took 30 minutes to find out where to get picked up and another to actually get picked up.

Cons: The location is off site in a sketchy neighborhood. It took forever for us to figure out how to get a ride to this off site location. When we arrived to get our vehicle they had to call the owner to come rent us the vehicle which took over 30 minutes. We were in the office at least 1 1/2 hours to get the vehicle. Terrible customer service.

Pros: The counter lady was very friendly, knowlegeable and efficient

Pros: I liked Guillermo's (our counter representative) professionalism and patience. He taught me where I can find my insurance's collision coverage information on my policy and answered my questions thoughtfully.

Cons: Difficulty getting to rental location (no shuttle waiting and no response when contact number was called). Total price after prepaying on booking website and at the counter was not that much cheaper than a larger car rental company, and definitely not cheap enough to be worth the hassle.

Pros: Everything went smooth but they charged 3.50 a day for road side assistance. Had they asked me I have AAA and did not need it.

Cons: This was during the Covid 19 out break and we had to cut our trip short and they would not refund our money for an early return.

Cons: After showing them the total I was sent for the car they refused to match that and doubled my price for the car for no reason. I was in tears.

Cons: The cost was higher than quoted. It took an hour and a half to get our car once we reached the agency. The car we got was smaller than the class of car we paid for. We were told we needed to provide our own proof of insurance in order to NOT use their insurance. We didn’t have it with us so we were stuck. I had to sign up as a second driver in order to use my credit card to pay for the rental. It was an awful experience.
