Cons: Poor service, additional charges

Pros: The car was fine, clean although had 23k miles on it so bit older than others I've rented in the USA before.

Cons: The base cost is cheap, but you effectively have to buy the toll pass which are priced at $15 or $20 per day. Without buying these you pay the toll + $25 per toll, so its a stitch up if you're a tourist unsure if you will pass a toll or not. It isn't clearly stated but you have to call the rental agent to get collected from the pick-up point despite providing flight details. We waited 30 minutes until calling (4th attempt they answer). All other providers ran the vans continuously in a loop

Cons: Never got the car. They rip you off telling you that you need $300,000 dollars in liability and damage protection, then make you pay tons of money for the insurance. I canceled my reservation and went to another car rental place that had more realistic expectations for the insurance. Discover cars was lousy. I called then for a refund and the representative said he is not authorized to give refunds.

My credit card covers the insurance and my personal insurance also covers my insurance, but the forced me into getting theirs by their policy. Virtually impossible to get company on the phone. The directions to get to the pick-up location were awful and I ultimately had to get an uber to the location. The shuttle service was not clear and I couldn't locate them. Roach burns in the car. Hub cap was cracked on pick up.

Cons: Most of it is covered above. The car itself was absolutely unacceptable. It was damaged, the check engine light was one, the wheels were out of true, the power supply didn't work, and it was a mess.

Cons: The process of rental was confusing and surprising. I felt surprised by the additional fees in the 11th hour which more than tripled what I thought I would be paying.

Cons: They added extra fees that were not shown to me by DiscoverCars which more than TRIPLED the cost of my rental. I received a Nissan Versa with 115,000 miles on it, scratches everywhere, a smelly interior, and an engine that sounded modified. I would never wish anyone the experience I had and will never rent from AddCar again. I felt deceived and ripped off.

Pros: Addcar did not take in consideration my problems at the costums at the airport and left me without a solution. Horrible host and services. They should not be part of a rental company.

From being charged a ton extra for liability insurance to getting a 120$ cleaning bill 3 days after dropping the car without being told upon return that it needed cleaning, the car seemed clean to me. The trunk did not stand up while open. I had hard time opening and using the trunk. I told them about it and I have not got any refund or positive feedback. Bad

Pros: The guy at the front desk was polite, but there was not any solution to my problem. They were kind enough to bring us back to the airport.

Cons: They wait for you to be in the office, with little options to do something, when they show you the "surprise" of the tolls. 12 USD per day or 15 USD of fine per toll, considering that you MUST pass a toll to get out of there, it is clearly a scam to take the 12 USD/day, more than doubling my initial price of the reservation. I would not use AddCar ever. Total scam.

Cons: They misrepresented the cost of the car hire. Mandatory addition of 11.99 per day for roll pass (otherwise you incur a fine). Then they retain a $1,000 deposit because your insurance cost is not included in price; despite buying $60 insurance from your site - this is not recognised by add car. They only accept credit cards (which is ridiculous) but they didn’t say this before you arrive. WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND WILL ACTIVELY ADVISE OTHERS NOT TO USE THEM.

Cons: I called customer service four times when I landed on August 12th. Was put on hold and then eventually I was disconnected every time I called back. I NEVER WAS ABLE TO PICK UP THE CAR AND IT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY.
