Pros: Quick and efficient pick up

Cons: Nitpicking and trying to find damages that already existed on the car. They don’t repair prior damages caused by previous renters and will do their best to blame you for existing damages.

Cons: The car was covered in dents and scratches and I took numerous photographs and videos before I set off . I caused zero damage to the car but on return I was accused of damaging the rear wheel arch where the petrol cap was but I had evidence that it was already there when I collected the vehicle. They then indicated damage ( scratches) below the front valance which were obviously historical and I denied any involvement in causing but they have now charged €361 on my credit card. I am 65

Pros: The price was fair overall, despite the effectively hidden cleaning fee.

Cons: The company is the only one I have ever encountered that requires you to wash the exterior of the car before returning. This essentially just forces and added charge. No one is ever going to take their rental car through the car wash. They charge 12 Euro if you prepay the wash and 24 Euro if you pay upon return. So essentially you are locked into the 12 Euro. Also, their standard for scratches is incredibly specific - anything 2cm or greater.

Pros: Happy with platform, but both rental companies we used were trying to make us responsible for damages that were already on cars when we picked them up.

It’s €14 but I think it should be included in the rental price already, rather than selling it as a “strongly advised extra.” They charge you €24 on return if they deem the car is not clean enough and you haven’t prepaid the cleaning. I prepaid the cleaning, but the car was far from clean when I picked it up. It just feels like a way for them to get more money from you.

Cons: Air conditioning did not work in the back part of the Volkswagen Caravelle….when we brought it back and told the agent, they answer was yes we know, it’s a problem with these type of vehicles, would have been nice to know and have a choice to change vehicle, windows were not cleaned, interior was fair, gas tank was in the red!!!!

Cons: First car was not checked and had a flat tire. We were given a second car but it was smaller and more inconvenient. One of the girls was very nice and helpful the other one was not at all. We appreciated the helpful girl who was behind the counter.

Pros: Je suis vraiment déçue du service. Quand je suis arrivée, c’était impossible d’attacher le siège d’auto car l’auto avait un défaut. Ils m’ont donné un autre véhicule. Finalement, on n’a pas pu prendre celui-ci alors on a dû tout enlever les valises et le banc d’auto pour avoir un 3e véhicule. Lors de notre arrivée, très bon service des filles à l’accueil. Elles ont trouvé une solution en nous trouvant un autre véhicule. Le plein n’était pas fait et le réservoir de ED Blue était vide.

Cons: Nous n’avons pas faire le tour du véhicule ensemble et au retour, ils me chargent des frais pour une égratignure (38 euros et 50 euros pour frais administratifs) que je ne suis pas responsable et me charge 30 euros de frais plus 37 euros pour le diesel car je ne l’ai pas remis au même niveau en plus que j’ai dû payer le liquide Ed Blue. Très mauvais service. Sans compter que j’ai dû payer le nettoyage de la voiture , première fois depuis toutes mes locations.

Cons: It was difficult to find the counter. It's located in a different area than the rest of the car rental companies at the airport. Not enough signs to direct you the exact location. We had to walk around and ask other car rental representatives.

Cons: We were delayed by 24 hrs due to bad weather. We tried to contact discover cars and they told to contact rental plus. We contacted rental plus and they told us to contact discover card. They cancelled our reservation which we had prepaid. But when we got to Rome rental plus did provide a car but it wasn't what we paid for. It was smaller and not an automatic but it worked fine for us and they didn't charge us for cleaning.

We had a lot of luggage and it was not easy to walk with it all to the airport from the off property drop off point. It would have been much better if the drop off was at the airport.

Very unsafe, luckly nothing happend , but if we would have had an accident...it could have been very bad. Also, after 2 weeks, the check oil light came up on the dash. The engine was missing oil, so we bought some and added it to engine. The light came off. I tryed to get credited for the oil, but the attendant at Rental plus said they could not.

Cons: To be honest, we had no issue with RentalPlus. Rather, the signage within FCO airport was really, really poor in our opinion. We couldn't see how to easily get to the desk so we ended up outside the terminal and crossing the road in the heat of the day with all our baggage and children. It was only when we got on the lift in Block C that we spotted that there was a direct link to T2.

Pros: The car provided was to one that was on the contract. It had a few minor esthetics damages but that makes no difference to me. The car was very clean, worked well, the process was fairly efficient for pick up and very efficient for drop off. They didn't harass to sell add-ons or extra coverage. Location within the airport was very convenient. Would rent from them again.

But somehow they CAN accept N26 only if i but the full coverage directly from them. So they charged my $250 + the $50 i already paid beforehand. I paid $300 for a $100 booking, for 4 days. I book cars all over europe, including in italy, with this card and have never had a problem. Total scam. They either accept N26 or they dont.

Pros: The car I got (a brand new Ford Puma with a 6-speed manual transmission and air conditioning) was fantastic. For the price I paid, to have that car for two weeks, I was thrilled. It was fun to drive and large enough to fit me while being able to fit in some tight spots in Italian alleyways.

Cons: The car had an issue with the power folding side mirrors which was difficult to deal with. I stopped at a Ford dealership and they showed me how to fix it. Also, the cargo cover in the trunk was not really useful at all. And the car was dirty when I got it. I had to stop on the 2nd day and wash it.

On return of car, we were told to vacuum the car, otherwise pay an extra 28 euro & I found it difficult to find a vacuum service.

However, I expected car with parking sensors, for some reasons I expected that this feature is normal in nowadays and therefore I didn't pay attention to this detail on pick-up. One of the tires had a slow leak so I had to fill it up every day. When I told them about it. They said I had run over something. I would have to pay. When I said I was just being kind that I had full coverage. They waved me off. I am sure some future person will get stuck paying. Not good.

I work for a major rental company and even with my discount it was a better price. I will be renting from them again when I return to Europe.

Voucher had wrong address for return of car so was stressful trying to find as its not near other rental companies.Phone number for drop off was also Rome number so we had to call them who gave us Naples number. Cons: We had a bit of trouble locating the rental office at Rome airport but found it at the end. Because there was not clear sign for this company. We had to buy ADblue for the car, just a bit of inconvenience. Given it was such a new car, we did expect we had to do that. Also there was some issue with the car's fuel indicator, and we were to told. When we fuelled up to full, the indicator sometimes till read as not full. It got us a bit worried.

Finding the rental office was a bit hassle, but if you ask someone for location to building C, it is easy to find. The customer service was also good, everything was smoothly done.

Pros: Car turnin. we had a very early flight out of the world so the rental agency was not open yet. But they had a key drop box, so we were able to drop off the car and drop off the keys and be on our way. This is not normally the case with the rental agencies in Rome

Pros: Quick and swift, at first i thought it was fishy that when i picked car up no one did a 360 check of the car with me. So i took a video my self, dropping off there was no game played and statf was kind quick and respectful. Will try them again in the future!

They told me 30 minute , but after 45 when I asked about the status, they said the car wash was closed during lunch time, so i had to wait another 15 mts.. in their defense I did arrive earlier than my scheduled pick-up time. The car was perfect except for a very strong cigarette smell that would not go away.

Cons: We found 5 pebbles laying in the boot, an entry ticket between front passenger seats, back seat was dirty, only had 3/4 fuel (not full). I said the car was not clean to the agent but all they said is that it had been cleaned and it would be noted on my contract, poor form! It did not identify that this vehicles as a hybrid when I made the booking, however it was and was very low on power driving on the motorway. The hybrid did not work over about 25 degrees and Italian is hot in August.

Cons: When making the reservation we did not insert the flight number and arrival and when we got to the counter we were told that the reservation is canceled automatically after one hour.

Pros: Going around in circles got me extremely worried and even though I knew I had missed my flight, when the office opened, the attendant was very helpful and also dropped me to the airport trying to help me make the flight. However it was wrong on the part of the agent at the pick up point to tell me the drop off was at the airport.
