Record go at Rome Airport Fiumicino

Pros: The staff at record go were lovely. Unfortunately, they were not able to rent to us because we did not have the required permit. discovercars.com never informed us that we needed it.

Cons: Record.go does have some language about international driving permits buried within their 10 page rental document.

Pros: The pickup instruction not entirely clear. It said to go to the highest level of terminal 2 and go to the street, whereas the middle level of terminal goes to the street and the highest lead to underground passage to terminal 3.

Pros: It’s a great alternative to renting at the airport. Shuttle is quick and pick up and drop off are easy.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Courtesy and speed of registration

Cons: Nothing

Pros: No hidden costs, transparent policies and clear communication.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: I have been renting cars from Record for almost a year now. I’ve also tried other rentals in the area and I have to say they are far superior. They cover all details, plenty of staff to handle high volumes of people. The whole experience is friendly and efficient.

Pros: Not alot tbh

Cons: The waiting time for the shuttle and then the high pressure sales tactics to get me to buy insurance - telling us everything was on us even if the car broke down even if it was not our fault . It made us drive the car alot less out of fear of losing the £900 deposit. Will not be using again

Pros: The car was brand new

Cons: Nothing. Everything was great

Cons: It was not easy to find. Description on the website is not accurate. Call the office if you can’t find the shuttle.

Pros: The service was good when we got to the office. The car functioned well.

Cons: It was frustrating to try to get the shuttle from the Fiumicino sirport to the rental office. The waiting time was far too long.

Pros: They were very quick in the check out and in phase. This is the first time renting off airport and will be doing it again.

Pros: the extremely low price

Cons: a little bit distance from the airport and shuttle bus is needed

Pros: Puck up was super fast (shuttle). And car was in tipp top condition

Pros: I will spend all my life talking absolute shit about you

Cons: Scam

Pros: very polite helpful agent; free snow chains

Pros: Fast pick up and drop off. Clean car. value for the money

Cons: Couldn't use Amex Credit card to leave the deposit cause I didn't book the full insurance with them (doesn't make sense)

Pros: quality of the car

Cons: cleaness of the car not possible to extend the contract

Pros: Giancarolo made check in quick, efficient and knowledgeable

Cons: none

Cons: It took about an hour to get the pick up. Most disappointed point was that when we arrived to the rent agency they told us that they don’t respect the Discover car insurance and we had to pay extra 160 euros!! Will never use this app or this car rental agency

Pros: The car was good and comfortable.

Cons: The directions for meeting the shuttle bus at the airport were poor. We had to call the company after searching a long time with the vague directions. The possible scam tactic a mentioned above.

Pros: Good English,

Cons: I asked for a Sat Nav but was told 'No, we don't have them'. Car was petrol, turned out to be hybrid, & late in rental we discovered had Bluetooth & were able to hitch up phone Google Maps. An explanation would have been helpful

Pros: The check-in attendant was friendly and welcoming. The fellow who took back the car was quick and easy to deal with.

Cons: The rear lights on one side of tge car never did work. The key fob did not always work. I ran out of windshield washer fluid in short order. The insides of the windows were dirty in a manner that made them hard to see through at night. I had to clean them.

Pros: I had to purchase collision insurance twice. I purchased it from discovery not knowing that you are not the Rental Car company that I’m getting the car from. You are a broker. I had to buy insurance again from the Rent-A-Car company that actually gave me the car. Otherwise, I would’ve had to pay cash for any loss, including total loss of the car and then file a claim with Discover. This is not accurately described in your sales information. I would never buy secondary insurance.

Cons: You do not have an airport location. I was in an industrial area when I dropped off the car. There is no taxi service in that area and I needed to go to a hotel. My hotel was closer than the airport and your agent would not drop me off at the hotel. I was forced to walk from the Rental Car drop off to my hotel.

Pros: Supportive on site staff at RecordGo.

Cons: I had reported about my return time 2 days earlier. Still they Charged extra day for me for returning the car at 1.30pm on Saturday. (I picked up the car 2 pm 9 fays earlier). I should not have been charged an extra day for this. Help information I received via email from customer support was not accurate and customer friendly.

Pros: They were fast and friendly.

Cons: drop off not at airport

Pros: Got me RecordGo

Cons: Too much advertising

Pros: Perfect service, friendly agents, Quick responses to our questions via Whatsapp, car in perfect condition, returned in perfect condition, drop off took 10 minutes at max.

Cons: I have no comments regarding negative comments. Everything went well with Record Go

Pros: Very easy to pick up and drop off and felt no pressure to get add on insurance etc. I had a flat tyre during my trip and the car was fully equipped with a spare and tyre changing kit. The agents were very helpful in sorting a replacement too and I wasn't charged a penny.

Cons: The shuttle bus to the airport was a little slow - I'd recommend leaving plenty of time to drop off before your flight.

Pros: Record -go were excellent. Its Discovercars who turned out to be useless. I want a refund from Discovercars

Cons: Record -go were great. Discovercars misrepresented their service and overcharged me for services not delivered

Pros: Cheap and easy

Cons: Car was not so good. Small motor, ac was not efficient and there was no thermometer showing outside temperature. Brand of car was DR

Pros: Хорошая компания! Забрали машину в четко договоренное время, без опозданий!

Cons: Unfortunately very poor company no car available when we arrived.. all customers where left without a car .. had to go to another company to hire a car at additional cost autosytem Rome very poor company.. please don’t use

Pros: Ils ont rattrapés les manques d'accessibilité de Discoverscars, pour résoudre notre pbm administratif.

Cons: Eux, ils parlent français...

Pros: Car cleanliness and condition.

Cons: The drop-off speed back at the airport was delayed about 40 minutes because the driver was not showing up and when he has finally showed up he lost 15 minutes waiting for an additional passenger to be picked up

Pros: Terrible experience

Pros: My booking was cancelled and I was charged money for it

Cons: I need my refund f

Cons: not happy about pressure they put on you to buy even more insurance. I purchased full insurance with car rental and they said i should buy more costly insurance . Also handing car back they pointed out a light scrape right away. We had video showing it was already there. With out that we would have had pay for damage. The return agent said the agent to. Pick up should have noted it and didn’t. all on us to prove we did not do this. . They did not do their job right. machine down no final bill

Cons: There was no windshield washer fluid…so I went without !

Pros: They were helpful and the car given was so fuel-efficient and in top-notch condition.

Cons: The pick-up in the night from Fiumicino Airport was delayed, but they sorted it out and it wasn't a major drama at all.

Pros: Agility.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Agent helpfulness

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The shuttle to take us from rental to airport never showed. Only excuse from record-go employees was that it’s an outside company that does the shuttles. They tried to contact the shuttle without success. We had to drag our luggage out of the parking lot, call a taxi = €40 to be able to get to airport. Almost missed our flight and it was a problem putting luggage under plane. We almost didn’t make it home for thanksgiving due to this car rental. Will never use again.

Pros: Friendly, not too much pressure to upswell car or insurance. But I speak some Italian so I probably had better service

Cons: They had the car condition as ‘without any marks or scratches’. They tried to say that small scrapes on plastic wheel covers were new damage. Fortunately I had photos of the car and small flaws at pick up. Resolved without further delay, but not impressed with this action.

Pros: The drop off was really quick.

Cons: When I picked up the vehicle, the agent tried to upsell me on insurance by insisting that the car would be broken into and/or it would break down.

Pros: They're a very kind.

Pros: They were helpful and seemed invested in making our process as easy and smooth as possible

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Car had very little power

Pros: Staff very pleasant

Cons: Didn’t get the car I was expecting Much smaller Had to wait 45 minutes for pick up to return to airport

Pros: The staff and the car.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: They want to cheat you

Pros: Good value rental enhanced by friendly staff.

Cons: The directions to finding the transit shuttle bus were not completely accurate. We came out of the highlighted exit from the Terminal but did not realise we had to turn right and make our way to a recharging point where we would meet the shuttle. Simply adding this information to the directions would resolve this. The company also needs a large shuttle bus.

Cons: Arrived at the airport and could not find pick up. Directions to pick up were incorrect. Called the car rental to figure out where pick up was, and they were not helpful. Eventually, I saw the shuttle and ran to the location, which was not described well by rental agency. It took two hours to make it to rental agency after landing. Finally, made it to rental agency, and they would not release car. Never received rental. Had to take shuttle back to airport and rent a different car.

Pros: Nao tive assistencia , nao encontrei o transpirte para chegar a locadora , liguei tres vezes na duscovery e ninguem me ajudou

Cons: A discovery NAO atende ninguem , so enrola , nao resolve nada

Pros: once in the agency the service was good and quick overall

Cons: shuttle service and the fact that I did not recieve the car I expected (even though you are not obligated to the car just the category, during the order I mede the booking for a Jeep and got a DS)

Pros: Very good service and car. Staff very professional and friendly.

Cons: Pick up point was 15th away from airport and we had to wait for a shuttle bus for over 30mins after we figured out where we had to go but we will know for the next time.

Pros: Price

Cons: They didn´t recognice our second reserve

Pros: Very friendly service. Only the window-cleaning system was out of water we discovered after the pick up.

Cons: That we had to pay €199,- for insurance which wasn’t told us beforehand by Discover Cars.

Pros: Everything

Cons: The price of the insurance was way too high for just one day - €84

Pros: - provided the exact model I booked - car was clean and pretty new - quick response on requests in whatsapp - picking up and dropping off were quick

Cons: - hidden costs of Euro 10 per day - summer tires in January - not safe for travel to northern regions

Pros: Nothing

Cons: They tall me about rental in other place that can accept mi license

Pros: Very good am super pleased with their service

Pros: A new DR 4.0 car

Cons: Efficient

Pros: clear instruction and advice provided.

Cons: the car info is not like what the agent mentioned, no parking sensors but he said yes it has. The tyres pressure became low during my driving. No checking before giving the car to customer.
