Cons: I did not like that they took 800€ as a charge, instead of blocking them as a deposit. The second.. I found out only after returning back the car, that they will return back my money (deposit) only after 20 working days.
Pros: The woman at counter was so helpful.
Cons: The ticket machine to pull a number is hard to see. Many customers would just line up and skip people who were waiting because they pulled a number. Maybe a sign somewhere that says please pull a number.

The agent should’ve never let us rent an electric car as he knew we were dropping it off in Venice after picking it up in Rome. Pros: Seemed like a smaller agency, so the line was much shorter.

Cons: Leasys is by far the worst car rental company I have ever experienced. We waited for our rental car over 2,5 hours, which delayed us so much that it completely ruined our 25th wedding anniversary celebration. I don’t know what caused it, but from reading other reviews a lot of people have experienced the same. Also when giving back the car the staff at the drop off point (Rome - Ciampino) were late (opening time said 08:00, they only arrived at 08:30) and the guy was very rude when I complained.

Cons: Incorrect drop-off location provided. Needed to go into Termini and ask but ultimately found a location online that turned out to be correct. Spent an hour trying to figure it out.

Cons: We waited for 3 hours at the rental desk to see an agent. They only had 1 agent working (who was doing great) but Leasys provided her no support. We tried calling the customer service desk and when they realized there was a serious problem they hung up on us. We will be getting all of our money back because of Leasys’ terrible service. Cons: It took more than 2 hours of waiting when we got to the airport to pick up our car. There was one person working at the service desk in mid afternoon when most flights land. They spent hours dealing with ONE customer instead of telling them that their request was unreasonable and moving on.

Cons: The car wasn't immediately present, but arrived quite quickly. It had evidently been hit by a hailstorm as was covered in over 50 dents. We subsequently discovered a slow puncture requiring reification on multiple occasions. Worrying graunch from front brakes. Both faults reported on return.

Finally did find it and the Agent that took back the car rental was very rude when checking out the interior of the vehicle she found a small spot on the back seat which was not made by us. No one checked the back seat when we picked up the car but she insisted that it was a new car and we should have checked the interior

Pros: I was involved in an accident, when I called the customer service line they weren’t helpful. On the day I went to return the car and give a report of the damage there was one employee working and a long line. I was unable to make a damage report so I wouldn’t miss my flight.

Cons: the front desk agent accepting the voucher was very slow, long line. when he accepted us, said they don't have any baby seats left (we booked 2) and didn't even try to help us solve the problem. we started asking looking around whether other agencies have baby seats but eventually when we went to pick up the car it turned out that they do have baby seats and even new ones!! but the agent at the front desk didn't bother to check.

A local renter is defined as a renter who is a resident of Italy.
