The rental location is just a few minutes from Fiumicino Airport and offers a free shuttle service. After collecting baggage, call or message/WhatsApp the number on the booking voucher at +39 327 856 4671 to request the shuttle. Follow the "Departures" signs to the 1st floor. In Terminal 1, exit from door 4 and cross the street to the sidewalk of the outside lane. In Terminal 3, exit from door 3 and cross the street to the sidewalk of the outside lane. The Green Motion shuttle bus will pick up and take to the rental vehicle.

Cons: On arrival to the airport it took at least half hour to locate the shuttle. Took several contacts to finally have the pick up shuttle. The location of the car rental is not at the airport and not walkable. The credit card has to have the drivers full name displayed not just the initial. This resulted in the extra £360 insurance. We were advised to just ring the number for pick up 15 minutes before returning the car if it was before 8am. I felt uncomfortable with this

Cons: This company cannot be recommended because it manipulates evidence about the vehicle. It has set a low rental price. It will rent you a damaged vehicle. However, when you return the vehicle, it will make up reasons to increase the price for you within the scope of the invented damages. I recommend that if more of your clients have a similar experience, you file a criminal complaint against this company for fraud.

Pros: Would definitely rent from Green Motion again. They were courteous, asked but didn't push us at all to get their additional insurance, were quick in picking us up and dropping off. We had also rented a car another time within the terminal and if the two options would choose the shuttle service and this company again. It took too much time to find the car in the terminal and drag our suitcases and the lineup was over 1/2 hour wait. So highly recommend green motion.

Pros: DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!!! They stole from us. When we returned the car, the inspection went fine. A couple of hours later we received an email saying that they will charge us almost $900 euros for a damage in the lock that did not exist. We read the reviews (we should have dinner this before) and they did the same thing to other customers as well.

Cons: The insurance was confusing. We purchased the extra insurance but my understanding if anything happened we would have had to pay and collect from DiscoverCars. I believe it would have been better and cheaper to but the extra insurance directly from GreenMotion when we picked up the car.

Pros: The rental desk personnel were friendly and helpful in processing our vehicle rental.

Cons: After landing at Rome airport, it was difficult to locate the area designated for pick up to go to the car rental office since it is located outside the airport. We had to call the local office for help. where to go for pick up. Upon returning the vehicle, we found the office was closed yet it was after 9AM. Thankfully, the van driver responsible for taking us back to the airport terminal was helpful in where to park and leave our vehicle and where to deposit our car keys.

Cons: Attempts to up sell additional insurance was quite intense, even after explaining that I bought insurance and I also have car insurance with my visa. This made picking up the car quite delayed. Also, there was no one there when we returned the car, we found a mailbox (without explanation) and dropped off keys. Thank goodness another car rental place in the same lot drive us to the airport

Pros: The only negative for me was the $1000 USD pre-auth on my credit card if I didn't buy the $200 USD insurance package through them. Car was a very nice Kia sportage, seemed brand new, ran fine as a plus it was diesel so lower fuel bill. On the way back opened google maps and GPS'd right back to lot and was then driven back to my hotel at airport

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
