Cons: Kiddy sign non existent. Didn’t know I was supposed to look for Europcar. Everything is a hidden fee. Insurance pressure to buy more. Asked for gps, got larger car that was difficult to handle in narrow spots. Asked gas station to fill tank, they didn’t fill to top, and we were charged another E125, Return agent told us we were to return car to pick up city even though we stated several times drop off was different location. In the end, cost was 3 times the originally quoted price.

Pros: Not sure what part was provided by Keddy, see above statement. Europcar was the actual company that was visible at the airport and train station.

Cons: What I did not like was the drop off at Termini, in Rome. Very unprofessional and rude "boys" and spoke no english. We travel all over the world with our job, never seen anything like this. I have seen many similar reports online, Afterwards, so please take this seriously.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1800.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Road tax, Railway fee, Port fee.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

For vehicles in groups Mini a driver license valid for at least 1 years is required.
For vehicles in groups Economy, Compact, Intermediate a driver license valid for at least 3 years is required.
For vehicles in groups Luxury, Premium, Special a driver license valid for at least 10 years is required.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): English, together with the original license, must be presented.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, driver license with photo.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

During the winter season (from 15.11. to 15.04.), Snow chains are included in the price only when reserving a vehicle for the following location(s): Northern Italy, Rome, Florence, L’Aquila.

Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid an additional charge per liter/gallon of missing fuel plus a 20 EUR refueling service charge.

Alternatively, the renter may purchase a tank full of fuel at the time of rental and return the tank empty.
In no case will a refund be given for unused fuel.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.

Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
