Alamo at Rome Airport Fiumicino

Pros: Clean vehicle

Cons: Pointed out damage to vehicle upon pickup. I was told it was noted. Once I returned the car, the receiving agent adamantly blamed me for the damage until I showed her a video of when I picked up the vehicle.

Pros: All

Cons: Very good

Pros: Receive good replacement

Cons: Customer service

Pros: Absolutely nothing!

Cons: Nothing! They refused to recognize your prepaid lease contract

Pros: The return process. That's the only thing

Cons: As I wrote, I often rent vehicles; in my life, there has never been such a long, tedious, and inefficient process. You must stop working with this company, Locauto.

Pros: Kind service.

Cons: It was all positive.

Pros: nothing. they gave my car becasue my flight was 2 hours delayed. Totally unacceptable.

Pros: Very helpful

Pros: The car itself was good and comfortable for the trip.

Cons: I did not like being charged an excessive amount for a minor cosmetic wheel scratch, especially after being informed that small damages would normally not be charged. I also did not like being pressured into paying for a vehicle upgrade because the originally offered car did not meet the luggage space I had booked.

Pros: The car

Cons: Customer service

Pros: Fast and hassle free pick up.

Cons: I had to pay 420 Euro to travel to replacement car location as Alamo didn't provide transport from breakdown location to replacement car location.

Pros: Wait time was ok

Cons: Van was damaged , many dents and scrapes, engine oil low by 2 litres, def fluid was very low, travelled 1000km and needed to refill or vehicle would no longer run . still have not received full compensation

Pros: Easy to find , Agent at the desk was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Made the rental process very easy

Cons: Had to swap cars as condition of first car wasn’t roadworthy . Drop off in Bari central , just a nightmare , you have kids running the place. Didn’t check car , no offer of assistance

Pros: Delivery and return efficient.

Cons: Location of all Rental companies at Rome is rather difficult to find on first visit!

Cons: Not sure, couldnt use the service thanks to discover cars

Pros: Thorough walk around and damage recording by the agent before taking possession of the car.

Cons: Drop off is a little confusing as there’s no real obvious signage of what to do.

Pros: That there were no problems at all.

Cons: Everything was fine.

Cons: Car performed badly...problem with acceleration in lower gears and faulty handbrake locking at toll gates

Pros: Car had many scratches. The good part is that they didn’t hide them

Cons: Had to wait in line for 1,5 hours when picking up the car from the airport. Not a great start on the vacation.

Pros: Fast, kind, professional service at a Good price.

Cons: The sunshade in the driver seat was broken and didn’t told us when taking the car about it but the believed me that i said that t was broken. The guy in the front desk was not nice and kind when i picked up the car i shot the car and then i saw damage on the car and record him on video to my prove safety and was little aggressive told me not picture him even its legal and I know as Jurist. The check of the cars return buy the same guy was little intrusive with flashlight all over body car.

Pros: see above comments

Cons: See above comments

Pros: every thing was good

Pros: representative - helping and kind. This is our first rental experience in Europe, lady at the dsk helped us and explained everything.

Cons: absolut proffesionals and kind. No hiden conditions, nice and clean car.

Pros: It took over 2 hours to be seen at the Alamo counter in Rome.

Pros: I was forced to transfer my booking to another company and they changed me double the insurance. They didn't accept my Canadian driving license but the other company they did which is very odd.

Cons: Waiting line to get the car contract excruciatingly long/painful, this was ridiculous... Got there at 11:30Am, had to get a ticket, to finally be actually in the car, ready to go, by 2PM ! All the others counters/companies were mostly empty or dealing way much faster.... On top of that, I discovered, too late, that I paid way too much.

Pros: Agents at the Rome airport were extremely friendly and efficient. No issues getting the car or dropping it off.

Pros: Rental agent was outstanding- helped us to the car inspected it and showed us how to use if properly!

Pros: Very friendly

Cons: Long queue but not there fault

Pros: Alamo was professional and efficient.

Cons: All worked well.

Pros: The pick-up process was fast and at a convenient location at the airport. I received a better than expected car model.

Cons: The car was not very clean inside, inspection during pick-up seemed rather shady and not so transparent. Car didn't seem to be in an optimal maintenance condition and during drop-off they were trying to make me responsible for an engine malfunction sign at the car's panel.

Pros: I changed my mind about the drop off location in the last day, and they were very helpful with this. Also the drop off in Milano Centrale was very quick and smooth.

Cons: It is difficult to park the car a there is no parking space. I was told to leave it in front of the office anyway. However, they moved it right away.

Pros: acceuil du representant

Pros: All ok

Cons: This is not a complain to AAlamo, but to the overall car rental industry in Italy: the rental prices are ridiculously high.
