Cons: The concern that since you are renting from a third party (Discover Cars) if there is a problem who is going to respond.

Cons: They did not recognize the insurance that I already set when booked car. Trying to explain that it’s their car not the company that I booked with. That cost me a 324 euro to be ok with insurance. I could find a different car for that total . It’s been inconvenient and expensive

Cons: The service in Rome was very poor, had the same surly guy on pickup and on return, terrible attitude.

Cons: We rented a small car but they did not have one when we got there. So they gave us a bigger one which they viwed as an upgrade but we actually needed something smaller.

Pros: Car was ideal for what we wanted. Good size for four people with three carry-ons, one medium and one full size luggage, plus a couple of backpacks. It was clean and comfortable. The staff at pick up and drop off were excellent. The whole experience was very good despite my comments below and I would happily rent from them again.

Cons: I would have preferred full tank to full tank of fuel. We over estimated how much we’d need to fill up with to match what we started with so spent money needlessly. The extra charges were a surprise: fuel deposit, excess charge if it was in an accident (even though we took Discover Cars full cover option), breakdown truck to be paid for by the renter (first time I ever heard of this) and €2200 charge if it was stolen (again - first time ever and I have rented vehicles all over Europe).

Cons: the pushy way to make u pay extra and for some reason if u don’t take the full coverage insurance u putting ur self at the risk.

Pros: I've hired twice from Centauro this year (Rome and Milan), the most important factor for me is the return process is smooth. I've been experienced some rental companies that try to charge for pre-existing damage on return. I've had no issues with Centauro. Their prices are good value, and my latest rental was upgraded to an almost new SUV.

Cons: The shuttle bus collection from the airport was very slow - we waited 45 mins (they quote 10-15). This wasn't a one off - I've experienced the same at Rome and Milan airports. Check in was also slow with 1 agent serving many customers.

Pros: Never again with this company! They are crooks!

Cons: They were rude, inefficient, and charged us for all kinds of extras that weren't specified in my terms with discovercars. The gap between the ease of discovercars app and website and the helpfulness of its call-center reps and the service in Italy made for a huge disappointment.

Cons: I made reservation for VW Tijuana, I got a 2021 Chinese car with 85,000 km . I didn't plane to worry about getting stuck with old car . Since there is no alternative on Saturday I had no other option . The best is to rent from an international company and not a local one.

Cons: Did not believe my word and photo over theirs about car tire damage. Noticed that other agents did not check any of the tires on four rentals returned. Pointed out this to agent and she said a very through check is done on each vehicle. My wife even noticed this while waiting for the shuttle bus. Very unfortunate and tainted my experience with this company. I will bring this point up on social media for other travellers renting my frm this company.

Cons: Criminal behavior. Car did not have a spare tire. Charged me for emergency retrieval on highway. Charged me addiitonal 300 euros that was not in contract to replace tire. All of these charges would have been avoided if they had provided spare tire.

Pros: Aggressive attempt at selling unneeded insurance ( told/showed them my pre-purchase of full coverage). 180 degree attitude change when they were unsuccessful. Fiddled around with which car to assign to me. Told me to bring car out of garage; upon inspection in garage there was a huge gash/scratch on rear driver side. They, of course, made an attempt to blame me. Haggled for an additional 20 minutes before they accepted that it was their issue.

Cons: Makes you wonder how many people they try this on.

Cons: The car was returned with a full tank. When returning the car, the employee confirmed. They said that the money for fuel -116 euros would be returned within 2-5 days. The money has not yet been returned. 8 days have passed since the car was delivered.

Cons: The staff during pickup need to improve a bit. The wasn't properly serviced, the service indicator and tyre pressure warning indicators were on throughout my trip. The car had lots of scratches on the paintwork all over and wasn't very clean in the interiors. There wasn't any soap solution in the wiper wash.

When driving off the facility was way to small and narrow, was difficult to drive out of the parking but we managed. One of our cars had not been checked, was dirty, with less fuel and had a damage which was not stated in the document and they charged us for it in the end when dropping off the car. Will not rent again with Centauro.

Cons: Airport shuttle pickup. Not easy to find the location. Van too small, we had to take a taxi. The driver also work at the desk, so the shuttle service is not efficient. On our way back to the airport, we had to wait in the van more than 15 minutes before the driver came.

Cons: The car rental agency used didn't open until 7am, and we had a flight at 8:30am. We did make our flight, but with little room to spare.

Pros: They were courteous and helped us get a good child seat. Good clean car, good check in and out

Including the discover cars insurance it was in excess$600. The purchase rod the full coverage was not clear at all and I feel one of the companies should refund the insurance I paid. Cons: The whole insurance coverage which I thought I was coverages by discover to be told by Centauro that I wasn’t totally covered. End yup spending a lot more Pickup of car.. not enough buses to take us to the car rental place so waited over 45 mins. No proper lines so people just pushed in to the bus. The wait again at the rental plce was incessant of 30 mins. Then a manual car was given instead of automatic (rented automatic) so spent another 20-30mins to get another car

Pros: The suv looked new other than a dent and minor scratches, even though it had 23,000 km on it. The existing damage was noted on the rental agreement but we took a walk around video of it to document things to be sure there were no issues later. Shuttle bus also dropped us at the airport hotel when asked on our way out. We had no issues and the SUV had navigation and was a hybrid, which helped a lot on fuel as we drove the length of Italy.

Cons: My only complaint was that the information about where to find the shuttle van was not in the email about the reservation. I had to dig for it on the website, which I found out later. We ended up taking a taxi to the rental location

Cons: The place of the shuttle bus was not so easy to find, there is no sign. We had to wait for A very long time, the shuttle bus was small and not everyone could fit in the car. We had to wait for a very long time at the service desk. Extra costs for extra insurance (which we allready had at discover cars) Key drop not possible. Our plane left a few hours early than expected, so we had to bring our car back a day early and had to stay in a hotel.

Cons: They tried to sell me insurance even though I specifically said I already have a full coverage. He even told me "this won't cover all damages" which was blatantly untrue, I found it super rude. Also, we purposely made a reservation for a small car (budget model) and still got a relatively big one.

Cons: I was given a car with a fault and then charged €577 for its repair. I waited 45 minutes for the shuttle service to collect me from the terminal after it took 3 journeys to take all the passengers that had arrived. The staff were incredibly rude and aggressive towards me and showed no interest in any level of customer service. So poor service, scammed out of nearly €600 and hugely inconvenient. Dreadful and wouldn’t use again.

They tried to convince us to take manual or convertible and it took a long time until they resched the right decision (to give us a Tiguan that was in stock)
