I did not buy the additional insurance from the provider (OK Mobility) so I rejected their proposal. It is indeed very disturbing this attitude from OK Mobility staff, as it seems they really want to steal your money somehow (to balance the cheap, I must admit, cost for the rent).

Cons: It's a scam. I reserved with Amex, only to be told at FCO that they don't take Amex. They demanded a larger security deposit because I didn't have an International Driver's License (no other company has done this.) The desk was unattended. The shuttle was poorly marked and hard to find. When the attendant finally showed up, she was rude and unhelpful. I had to rent a car elsewhere and pay non internet rates. You are AWFUL.

They wanted to increase the charge by 800 euros. I told the lady she is exaggerating and she dropped it to 600 euros. It gave me the impression of Grand Bazar in Istanbul. Holding everybody hostage to squeeze more money above the contract. They did the same thing to 3 customers before me. Once I paid, there was no need for international license.

Pros: The pickup and dropoff process was smooth. The blocked amount was released on the same day which was a good surprise.

Cons: Not easy to find outside of airport and then a few miles away for actual car pick-up. Seems like everyone picking up a car had some issue. I finally gave up and went back to the airport and quickly rented a vehicle from a real company.

Cons: The agency didn’t have the car or even kind of car that I reserved and didn’t have a choice to offer me except one car which was completely different than what I reserved and not the car I wanted. I had to take a different class of car and pay more for the car and for the insurance although you let me understand that I payed for a total coverage. The experience at the car agency ruined the beginning of my vacation.

Cons: Fraudulent operator...our reservation was not honoured, cancelled in fact because we were 20 minutes late after having to wait to get to their off-site location and having to wait outside their rental office for Covid protocols. Couldn't even reach them on the phone as required by our Reservation Agreement to say we were waiting.

Pros: When I arrived at the desk the agent claimed that in order to be able to drive the car out of the city (so where the airport is) in Italy is mandatory to have winter tyres or chains on board and that I had to pay an extra 40 pounds on the cost of the rental as if this was considered "extra equipment". I argued that when a customer rents a car, they should be able to drive legally without having to pay extra do comply to current regulations. Also the car was given with an empty tank.

Cons: They tank was empty and the agreement was for a full to full, but they said they didn't have time to fill it (!), they tried to charge me extra for winter tyres that In Italy are mandatory. Very dishonest company.

Cons: I was need them during my travel and they was unavailable. I was need to wait on the line for 40 minutes. And I called for 4 different numbers until I got service. The expensive price of the insurance is shocking compared to the service I received from the company Ok rent a car. They don’t have any alternative way to help you if facing a problem during your trip. The only thing they can do is take the car back and leave you in middle of the road.

Cons: Looked for the shuttle bus more than an hour and was then told that the pick-up time was expired. Then I was charged 450€ extra as they suddenly did not accept Visa card even though the booking fee was charged on that.

Cons: I reserved many months in advance and got a very good price for my reservation, when I showed up to Ok car rental they told me they didn't have any midsize or bigger cars left. I had to pay 5 times the price to get a car at an alternate provider. Clearly the market price went up and they dicided not to honor my reservation so they could rent to a more profitable client. Discover cars should stop doing business with unethical providers.

They have no clue with what is wrong with their cars. First car I got SOS light was on. Maintenance light was on they told me can you go please fill the tires the light will go away. I went all 4 tires were a 65 psi...... Instead of 33 psi. One tire had sidewall damage. I brought back the car to ask for a new one with good tires on it.

I told her we didn't require additional insurance coverage but she kept talking, almost shouting at me, telling me she HAD to tell me about the insurance coverage. We were hot and tired after a long overnight flight and were not interested in standing in an un-air conditioned booth listening to her sales pitch while we sweated knowing that we were going to say 'No' at the end of it anyways.

Cons: 1. I couldn't use my credit card which is accepted everywhere else. 2. Because we were more than 59 minutes late, we were told that our reservation was canceled. There was no warning about this on the website. 3. We were unfairly upsold insurance which resulted in a price much higher than what we were quoted on website.

Pros: See above - total scam. They made us wait an hour and a half then tried to hard sell us their insurance for 444 euros. They refused to rent us the car if we didn’t pay it even though we had prepaid DiscoverCar’s full coverage zero deductible insurance. We refused to enter the scam and lost all prepaid money. We filed a claim with DiscoverCars but weren’t refunded, not even for their insurance plan which wasn’t recognized.

Cons: It was difficult finding the agency. We had to go with a bus that we couldn’t find. There were no signs at and outside the airport to guide you. When we find the bus and we looked back at the instructions it was all quite logical though. Ok rent a car was quite aggressive in letting us buy and additionel insurance. For 15 minutes we had to make clear that we didn’t want extra insurance. They couldn’t understand.

Cons: Slightly slow rental process but not too bad. The fine print on the reservation said that they require an international driving permit (approx $12 at AAA) along with your US state license. I'm glad I read that because for the first time in many years of European rentals, they actually checked and made a copy of it! One minor mechanical problem with a front safety camera on the car, but not required. Otherwise great car.

Pros: They were OK. We hired a Peugeot Rifter which had room for our luggage. When we got there, they said they have never heard of this car and have never had it. The only car they had was a lux SUV or a Vauxhall Corsa! and we had to pay 350 euros more for it. We had no choice but to do it. There were multiple other customers with the same problem. Some had booked 7 seaters and they didn't have any. Honestly I don't know who is to blame. Discover cars or OK Car Rental but something is wrong

Pros: I had an issue with the AC in the vehicle, the agent promptly changed the car when I took it back for a replacement.

We have spent over an hour negotiating because they wanted the expiration date of my credit card to be at least 6 months after the return date of the car WITHOUT prior notice anywhere in the order details or in an email. In my case the card would expire in 5 months so they did not want to accept it.

Pros: M'y flight has been rescheduled from morning to afternoon. I called the company which informed me that their contract with discoverers allowed 6 hrs delay so I would lose the car. I called discovercars: answering machine telling that communication must be done by mail. I sent an Email which has never been treated. When I arrived to pick my car with 7hours 30min delay the car was gone and I had to repay for a new one

Pros: Incorrect information about location. It is not in the airport but 15 min drive away. Then reservation gives wrong information about location of pick up shuttle. I had to make about 12 calls to the company about where the shuttle stops. Company was also giving me wrong information. They were saying it is between term 2@3. It was on terminal 1. We spend going back and forth, up and down as they were sending us to wrong places for more then an hour. I gave up at some point and canceled it.

Cons: Simply awful. Have someone speak English over there. Make their reps go and find the shuttle stop and see it in their own eyes where that stop it.

Pros: The hire company Ok Rent a Car withdrew (not blocked as stated in the discover cars voucher) £1000 from my credit card when I hired the car. There was no damage to the car but I'm still chasing OK rent a car for a return of this. Ok rent a car stated on the phone to me that they had the right to hold on to this for up to a month after return, however they said they would do this faster for me. The 1000 withdraw cost me £30 foreign currency charge by my credit company which I may not get back.
