Pros: NOTHING

Cons: That there was no schematic showing the damage that was already on the car. The employees at the front desk, and in the garage were both/all rude. They act like they are government employees, rather than in the service industry. The system is set up to screw their customers.

Cons: The worst I had from any car rental. The representative at the FCO airport called alessandra was utterly unprofessional, racist and rude to us. They tricked us to pay for an extra driver. I used my card on the same day on the same airport for restaurants and many more stuff and on this desk it didn’t work so as my other 7 cards including my business card I always use with Europcar. I’ve had many good experiences with Europcar but this matter made me think twice before using them again.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): English, together with the original license, must be presented.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: driver license with photo. A digital driver's license will not be accepted — you must bring your physical driving license.
Deposit and deductible policy

Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Snow chains.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.


Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Electric vehicles must be returned with the same battery charge they had when picked up to avoid additional charges (on a per kWh basis). An additional admin fee will be charged if a vehicle is returned with less than 80 % battery charge remaining.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.

Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
