Cons: It is a little unclear wether you can enter the tiny office or if you need to stay outside waiting to be called in. A simple ticket system would be handy especially when it is busy.

My flight got a delay of one hour and even explaining the situation to GoldCar personeel they promised to wait for me until midnight, I got to their desk office at 23:50 and no one was there. Overheard agent at the next desk telling a customer that car theft was very common at his destination, claiming the excess for him was €3500, all in an attempt to sell insurance. Thouroughly poor experience - I would NEVER trust this company agai

Cons: Macchina con le gomme lisce, mentre guidavo uno dei pneumatici si è letteralmente squarciato da solo, senza che prendessi buche o chiodi o altro. Quando riporto la macchina al centro di Fiumicino mi caricano 160 euro per la ripazione delle gomme: in pratica questi non solo mettono a repentaglio la vita dei propri clienti, ma poi gli caricano danni la cui unica responsabilità è di GoldCar. In poche parole si aggiustano le proprie macchine sulla pelle e sul portafogli dei propri clienti.

Cons: L'agente che mi ha consegnato l'auto ha tenuto a specificare che in caso di guasto dell'auto per cause non dipendenti da me, non avrei avuto un auto sostitutiva per il restante periodo di noleggio. Non solo quindi avrei avuto il disagio di un auto non funzionante ma avrei perso anche i soldi del noleggio. Inaccettabile

Cons: Everything with DiscoverCars worked good when it comes to the rental and payment but when arriving in Rome/Italy and we went to Goldcar to take out the car I had paid for and paid for fully coverage then the lady at Goldcar told me that Discovercars is a scam and that I had to pay for fully coverage to them cause I was renting their car from Goldcar. Of course I didnt pay it to them but the whole thing was unpleasant. I don't think thats a good way to go trying to scam tourists.
