Pros: When seen to is was fast and efficient
Cons: It took 2 x agents over 30 mins to see 2 x customers - by which time there was a huge queue. They were just chatting. My rental took 7 mins so I know how efficient it should have been
Pros: Fortunately the car hire we hired was fairly new so was quite clean
Cons: Again the agent tried to convince me I did not have full coverage. They locked a large sum on my credit card even if I already paid the full insurance to discover

Cons: The car was a bit 'tired'. Not very clean, seats were stained, lots of scratches on paintwork. The boot floor was broken and the emergency wheel rolled back and forth, round every corner.

Cons: The reception desk was closed at Rome Fiumicino airport and the queue was backlogged at the car pick up point with only 1 person working on the desk

Cons: The person with who we interacted, bossy, unpleasant and overall to be avoided. We are seriously considering never renting from Golcar just in order to avoid her.
Cons: Don't accept debit cards or american express credit cards
Cons: Insurance terms were ambiguous and unclear and had to pay a lot extra for proper cover. Indications to change engine oil and low fluid for wipers were lit, since we picked up the car.
Cons: coned me out of 70 euros saying as a uk driver i now needed an IDP. this was untrue but they refused to give me a car unless i paid for extra cover. I was going to a wedding so had no choice

Pros: Ivan was fantastic ( desk in Fiumicino),,when i reserved online discovercar gave me price in dollars ,,when i go to the desk of goldcar the price was in euros (40/50 $ more),,,Ivan kindly could fix the problem.

Cons: Finally found the office, then it closed. Then it opened again, slow and bad service. And finally got a Panda with no AC for 3 persons in the hottest period of summer!!

Cons: Made to pay an additional fee or they would cancel my agreement and not rent the cat to me. Vehicle was dirty inside and no washer fluid.
Cons: Long file for pick up the car, the car have an allarm light on, non water at all in the tank for clean the screen.

Cons: I didn't like the services from Goldcar. The agent and also the office manager were extremely rude and not able to answer our questions. The insurance cover from Discovery were not accepted and the options were: leave 1200€ of guarantee and if something happens we had to pay an then ask for Discovey to use the insurance, or make a contract of a Goldcar insurance. Very bad experience
Pros: Staff Mr.Adrian is very helpful and explained some extra services like extra insurance which we find very good.
Cons: the warning of credit card problem (the one use for the online paiment doesn't allow me to rent the car at the office so they ask me to take their full coverage if no it was impossible to rent a car / i already took discover car hire full coverage but it was not suffisant! 74€ fees for the quarter of gas to fill
Cons: Requirement for driving permit must be printed in capitals letters during online reservation, not small print at the back of brochure at check out desk.

Cons: I was surprised with a hefty additional charge upon pick up. I felt trapped because I didn't want to rent at that price but I didn't have anything else booked and needed a car that day.
Pros: Couldn’t rent because of the attitude
Pros: Agent worked to solve paperwork discrepancies. He did not use small error to increase price or sell more. He just worked efficiently with the supervisor to resolve. NICELY DONE😎
Cons: Drop off and close out was very quick. All personnel were professional and courteous.

Cons: Unfriendly, trying to flog additional insurance that cost more than my annual insurance, I was late due to accidents on the way back from campania but charged me as extortionate amount. Other people on pick up and drop off days were clearly irritated which made a stressful atmosphere. Won't use gold car again.

Pros: Terrible. Refused to accept my US driving license, while ALL other car rentals accept it.
Cons: Goldcar refused to rent me a car without payment of an unreasonable insurance fee. I had to use another provider.
Cons: My initial payment was not found by the agent. I had to pay in full. Car was in very bad conditions. Scratched everywhere. Brakes were not working good. A weird and loud sound everytime brakes were used. The worse car rental experience I have ever had in my life
