Vivarent at Rome Airport Fiumicino

Pros: The employee at pick-up and the employee at drop-off were wonderful!

Cons: The address was little confusing for drop off but the agent helped us!

Pros: Quick and efficient staff!

Cons: We asked for a Toyota Crossover to have a bigger car than the smaller models (and paid extra for that) and we got a Toyota Yaris instead. We managed to put all of our luggage in it and it was great on gas (we paid 130$ CAD for a month), but it would have been better to have what we asked and paid for. For the rest, everything was great!

Pros: Detailed photos taken prior to handoff

Pros: The staff was extreme friendly. Remember to take a video of your vehicle prior to leaving. This is Italy and both of my rentals had prior dings and scratches in the paint. I had no issues but took the insurance just to be safe and secure.

Cons: The second car I rented did have almost 50,000 kilometers on the vehicle. These are not newer vehicles.

Pros: Very dirty on pickup. Looked like it was never washed between hires Very damaged on all panels including major door damage

Cons: Car not maintained. Over 10000s overdue on servicing. Worried throughout hire the car would fail from oil issue. On return never got an email confirmation of return despite their insistence we would.

Cons: Car windshield washer spray did not work.

Pros: All employees were kind and helpful. Fair rental price. Quick pick-up and drop-off.

Cons: I got the "similar" car, as my options were an Opel Mokka or a Renault Captur instead of the Peugeot 2008 that I booked. The car was not clean inside nor outside. Service sign was constantly lit.

Cons: I chose a car that would let me pay with debit card as I don't own a credit card .. however when I picked up the car I was charged 30 euros/day for not having a credit card (protection for the company), which doubled the cost of the car.

I considered it either a failure of your company, or a classic theft. Truly the worst I have ever experienced in terms of service!

Pros: Great value for money

Cons: Long wait (>30 minutes) for shuttle at the airport to the rental place due to van sharing with other rental companies and it is not first come-first serve but whoever the driver wants to take. Which was very frustrating. The place itself is around 5-10min from the airport.

Pros: The staff was helpful and the car fuel economy really good.

Cons: Not only was the type of car not honoured, which would have been ok per se, but that was never communicated to me and nowhere was I asked if it was ok for me as if it had to be taken for granted. I was provided a much inferior car (Fiat vs Volkswagen) and there was no windshield fluid in it as well, which is absurd.

Cons: No indication there was repeated GPS malfunctioning with this car and I assume the response once dropped off and explained would mean the problem would continue unresolved or notice given to prospective drivers

Pros: The car was almost new and agents were very nice.

Cons: It took an hour for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport. Car was not serviced. Oil change due light came on 2 days after pickup. Car was dirty, could barely see out of windows. No washer fluid. Almost completely out of AdBlue DEF. Turned car in a day early and received No refund.

Cons: customer service not too special, and getting you going quickly wasn't a priority

Cons: pickup was very oldschool, had all info ahead & photographed passports & drivers licences, then proceeded to ask again all the info on them. phone to call when at airport didn't work.

Cons: Not a big deal but it would have been better to get Citroen C3 as we booked instead of Lancia Ypsylon. Lancia was a bit smaller than we expected. Also, I suggest Vivarent put their name somewhere around the shuttle pickup area (beside e-car parking). Rome airport is always very busy with multiple terminals and it is not very easy to figure out where the right shuttles are. Other than these 2 things, our experience was good.

Pros: One of the best customer services I have ever experienced! High level of service awareness. Continuous and personal contact with the company representative, personal care and quick response. In addition, it is important for me to note that I consulted with the company representative even before I ordered the vehicle, he was especially kind and helpful and helped me choose the right vehicle. Cons: The vehicle that I received was must bigger than I order which made more difficult to navigate through the small streets and for parking. I had ordered navigation system which was not necessary because I ended up using my Waze on my phone. The extra insurance with discover was not easy to get a claim from, it is better to get the agent insurance because you got immediate reimbursement for any expenses that occurred.

Cons: I selected the “full coverage” option on your site. It seemed it only covered full up to 3000 euro. If you sell full coverage, it should be full coverage We got a Lancia Ypsilon. I booked a Peugeot 208 or similar. This is not the same class / size car. - smaller car - had to pay 50 euro extra - your full coverage isnt full coverage I would like to have a refund for this terrible experience.

Cons: Very long second time didn’t get the car. I wanted to drop off key and had to wait again.

Cons: The service was too bad. It took too long to pick up the car. Dropping off was too horrible. There was no one even at 8:30am. I was struggling to get the shuttle to catch my flight. Almost missed my flight. I literally had to ask strangers on the road for a lift to get to the terminal.

Cons: There was a tiny ding on the car door from the tight parking lots in Amalfi that they said they are going to charge for. Vivarent locations are not directly at the FCO and NAP airport like other companies.

Cons: there was a warning light on the display, there was a lack of water for window washing, new terms were required in the contract that were not disclosed at the time of booking, the person I called when I arrived at the airport did not speak English and it was difficult to communicate with the company, etc.

Cons: The whole episode, on arrival at Fiumicino, of trying to request a shuttle bus was very inefficient and annoyingly misleading. The data sheet from Vivarent said, “On arrival, after collecting your luggage, phone —- xxx yyyy. We did call and there was no answer. It was, instead, a number to be used with Whars App. We were very angry.

Cons: Shuttle service was inadequate. Family members waited over an hour for the shuttle that never arrived. We had to pick them up once we had the car.

Pros: Not much. The shuttle van to the pickup was completely full 3 times and just kept leaving us on the curb. We ended up having to taxi to the rental facility. When we had to inspect the car before leaving the agent would not record damage to the rear tire rim and back panel. Luckily we took pictures and they were dated or they would have said the damage was ours.
