Cons: The car arrived not clean, empty fuel (less than 1/8 fuel tank), empty water tank for windows cleaning, without spare wheel, no cours control fasility in the car. Without performing periodic vehicle maintenance as required after 60,000 km (During the entire rental time, the warning light indicating that periodic vehicle maintenance is required was on)

Pros: Giacomo was very helpful in getting the paperwork done at car pick-up.

Pros: The pick-up in Rome was very convenient, in the airport. The car was in great shape and the price was fantastic.

Cons: The pick up and drop-off was very busy for the lone attendant. But it was worth the small delay.

Cons: We arrived early to pickup the car and got charged an extra 100 euros for getting it early. Paperwork at the desk took forever.

Pros: Everyone was helpful and it was easy and cheap

Cons: The navigation was difficult to understand so we just used our phones.

Cons: It took about 30 minutes for the agent in the pick up to fill all details. They also charged me 10 Eur for the fuel because they said I should fill the tank in radius of 5 km. I returned the car in the city so I filled it 25 km from the return point . I was never asked for refuelling costs.

Cons: Slow. Difficult to locate the drop off and we never got a reply to our request asking for a pin to show where it was. Agent was officious and verging on rude. The deposit taken was €400 more than on our confirmation and it still hasn’t come back. They tried to charge us more than our discover car contract but did honour the price when challenged. Anything we questioned we were told if we didn’t like it we could go to another provider! They wanted to know exactly where we were taking the car!

Cons: The car I booked is broken and they gave me a lower range one. The car had paint damage and was dirty inside and out. The agent who did not attend the check-in was not friendly and threatened us several times that if we did not agree we would cancel the reservation. Furthermore, the deposit left is still blocked. The overall experience was very bad, I would not repeat with this company.

Cons: I was added an extra charge of 50 euros without a very clear explanation. I was first told no extra charge was due, then they changed their mind and told me I was more than an hour late so the fee was due. I asked about the clause in the contract indicating that, but they were not able to provide that information. I intend to open a formal complaint about it.

Cons: They should indicate in pick up instructions that the time of the reservation should be the latest time you would pick up the car and any time later will result in penalties being charged.

Pros: Desk and return area was inside airport which is most important. Woman at desk was unusually helpful and knowledgeable.

Cons: Car did not have a full tank when I picked it up which meant it was hard to gauge how much when I returned it, so I probably returned it too full, which was a small additional cost. Also the amount held on my credit card in case of damage was unusually high.

Cons: I paid extra at discover car rental to guarantee a larger SUV, but Rent4U said that car was in an accident the day before and not available. Instead I received a tiny Clio, which did not meet my needs and was told that was all they had. When I returned the car they tried to charge me 1,000 euros for existing damages, but when I sent my own pictures showing the damage at pickup I received an email stating they made a mistake. Very shady company, don't rent from them!!

Cons: The agent was alone at the terminal, and she had to do everything by herself, so the was no one when I got to the desk without knowing what to do.

Pros: Nothing. I will never rent from a 3rd party again. I will use a reputable agency with a good track record and that do not bait and switch with a low rental rate and then quadruple the fee for any changes.

Cons: Pick-up was not good, as explained before and upon return of the car at 8:30 AM, it was even worst as there was nobody there to greet us and no instructions on the car return booth to explained what to do. We simply did not know what to do until someone finally showed up at 9, someone who examined the car very quickly and would not sign the document to confirm it was OK and officially returned to Rent4U.

Cons: Car was rent for 5 sits and a car for 4 was given. Paperwork was long and complex. Instructions for drop off were written by hand and we had to wait more than 30 min to be able to drop off our car. Very high deposit (1k) for a fiat panda. One of the side mirror was not working.

Pros: The gentleman who helped me with the drop-off of the car was excellent. Very polite, well-spoken, and understanding of my delay in returning the car due to unexpected travel time to the drop-off location.

Cons: My drop-off location was changed on the day of the drop-off. It was communicated to me via WhatsApp message, but it was still not the most convenient. Had this been communicated earlier, it would have been no problem at all. Overall I am still very happy with Rent4U, mainly because of how polite and friendly the customer service agents were.
