Pros: Transparent with the fees, everything was explained well at the time, there was not hidden fees and all interactions were efficient and professional. All employees were nice and respectful

Pros: Terrible service. Shuttle was not there. I tried calling x3 to request the shuttle, and the Klass Wagen voice recording indicated a sms would be sent, but it never came through, on all three attempts. Gratefully I found another traveller who was also waiting for the shuttle, she had been able to make the pick-up request, but they were running late, and she had to make the request again. Eventually the shuttle did come, approx 1 hour late.
Cons: One at the pick up location, there was only one agent there to process several waiting customers, and, he was rude and unhelpful, and would not accept my cc as explained above. Further, when it became apparent that I would not be able to pick-up my rental car as he would not accept my cc, he would not provide me with his name when asked, or any paperwork. I requested this as I am pursuing a full refund. I intimately left with no car, and had to spend money on a taxi to get to my accommodation.

Rental Conditions
Please check the Rental Conditions for each vehicle prior to booking as some conditions, particularly the deposit and deductible, may vary based on the class of vehicle.
All rental vehicles are equipped with a transponder that can be used for paying for all toll roads.
You’ll be charged a service fee of 2.23 EUR per day up to a maximum of 22.30 EUR per rental in addition to the tolls, which will be charged to your credit card after the rental period.
You may also be required to leave an additional deposit for tolls.
An E-toll charge will apply; personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.
There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 70.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, bank statement or utility bill.
It is possible to leave the deposit only with following methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following country: Spain-Mainland.
Using a ferry is not allowed.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

During winter season (from 01.11 until 31.03) Winter package are included in price.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon pick up.
Winter tires are not mandatory in Portugal.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
