• Djemaa El-Fna. Equally popular with local snake charmers and picture-taking Westerners, Marrakesh’s main square is the beating heart of the city. Location

Marrakesh Airport is about 5 km (3.1 miles) from downtown Marrakesh. It takes approximately 15 minutes by car to get from the airport to Jamaa el-Fna, depending on traffic. Avenue Prince Moulay Rachid is the main road connecting the airport to the city.

You’ll find currency exchange offices, an ATM in the arrivals hall of Terminal 2, a restaurant, café, snack bar, gift shops, duty-free shops, and an information desk. Marrakesh Airport also has a prayer room and an emergency unit that provides medical assistance. Unfortunately, facilities for people with disabilities are limited, so, if these are needed, you should make special arrangements with your airline in advance.

Nearest gas station

The nearest gas station is on Avenue 11 Janvier. There are also two other gas stations nearby, one on Route d’Essaouira and the other on Place Moulay Ali, Medina.
