Pros: Nothing really.

Cons: The people on the Buget desk were not there. When they finally decided to come started shouting at us that the car is not clean. We tried to explain that they lied to us that the car is gasoline and not diesel and they started shouting speak Arabic not English. They started shouting to leave their country and saying something in Arabic. It was an awful.experience and I would never come back to th8s country and reconsider using Discovercars in third world countries.

Cons: The agents were not helpful and the car was not in good condition. It had not even been fully valeted / cleaned. Also driving the car did not feel safe as there were rattling sounds underneath

Cons: The 2 agents at Budget in Marrakech where I picked the car from were the worst people I met in Morocco (I was in the country for 3 weeks). They were unfriendly, didn't care at all about their customers, and lied about the cost of cleaning the car (they quoted a price higher than shown on their window). I've rented from Budget for years for both work and personal use, and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had.

Pros: Unfortunately, I had a very serious car accident. The budget company took care of sending me a taxi that arrived quickly. They replaced my car without any unnecessary questions. At the end of the contract, I returned the car, they checked that I filled up with gas. And they didn't have any problems at all. Very highly recommended. I was calm.

Cons: 1) After I returned the car in Menara Airport in Marrakesh, the agent claimed that I had to return the car washed from inside and out or else will charge me 50 USD, eventhough Budget website states that you don't have to wash the car before you return it. 2) The agent did not clarify when the deposit will be released and credited to my bank.

Pros: Car was as specified. Whilst a little battle-hardened it was provided clean and ready to go.

Cons: Pick up and drop were very slow. On return the check in staff decided the car was dirty and levied €20 cleaning charge. We apparently were supposed to return the car washed!! In 25 years of renting cars i have never had to return a car washed. When you stay in a hotel do you wash the sheets and make the bed before leaving ready for the next guest? The car was NOT dirty it was dusty (it is Morocco) This is a disgusting scam in my opinion. Left a bitter taste on an otherwise fantastic holiday.

Cons: The rental drop off was a terrible experience, the car was in a clean conditioning when we dropped it off but the representative still wanted us to get it clean or would charge us £16, Marrakech is a developing country and dusty, even if we had wanted to we couldn’t have found a car wash they just don’t have them and I didn’t take a bucket and sponge on holiday with me to clean a rental car

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1535.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Renters from the following country(ies): Morocco must provide the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill) in order to collect the car.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Wi-Fi.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.



Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 27 days. If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 0 minutes.
