Meteora was the best part of the trip. The people in Greece were so welcoming and in several cases went out of their way to help us. The archeological sites like Dion were an exceptional opportunity to learn about Greece history.

Drove from Athens to Nafplio, stopping in Epidavros and Mycenae! Easy drive, lots of places to park in Nafplio, and the scenic route is worthwhile if you don't mind windy roads! Things to know - there are tollways so just make sure you have a credit card handy to pay. Go to the lane with the person figure on the sign.
