Cons: Slow service, unprepared, slightly rude

Pros: Despite being very expensive The car was very old and broke down twice. The second time we could have had an accident. We had to wait one day for a new car and the agents didnt help very much.

Pros: The agent didn't wait for us in the airport, he came only after calling. The car was for 7 but the air conditioner was only in front of the car. Car that I pay 6000 EUR for 8 days...and the agent didn't explain to us where to bring back the car.

Cons: I rented the car in a company name GreenMotion in Athens airport . I waited for more then an hour to the shuttle to arrived - i called 3 times to theire office and they told me that the shuttle is arriving in 2 minutes - in the last call the woman in the office was very rude , i donwt reccomand to order throe this company anymore.

Cons: The staff are rude and screaming literally at every customer they were serving. This is the most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered with my many years of car rental experience.

Cons: The car was dirty on the inside, and dinged up. The representative tried to scam me by saying I was only allowed ~450km for the length of rental, when my documents stated 600km. Also my flight was changed and I was 2 hours late for pick up. He tried to tell me they didn't have a car available because I was late.

Cons: Took a lot of time to pick the car. The agent office is far from the airport.

Pros: The car rental office is too far from the airport, I would guess 10 km, and the office was so full of people, it took about an hour to get to the desk. The people there were friendly, and helpful. What I didn’t like is that the address on the rental contract cannot be found by my gps. I had to Google Greenmotion in a browser, and then use those directions directly to open a navigation window. There is no way one can find them to return the car without gps guidance, if one doesn’t know the area.

Cons: The other thing I don’t like is that they keep the money if one needs to cancel before the trip, regardless how long before it is canceled. They issue a “credit”, but only in the form of a voucher for another rental. This is why I won’t rent there again. Too bad! If they changed that policy, I would rent again.

Cons: It took an hour to collect the car the staff were rude. I was charged twice an out of hours fee for dropping the car off at 5am. There also appear to be scamming people for the smallest damage to the vehicles

Pros: The representative was waiting for us at the designated area at the airport. Transfer provided from the airport to rental lot.

Cons: Unfortunately we had a few challenges with green motion. 1. Distance of rental lot from airport. Approx 15 minute drive. 2. Length of time waiting to pick up car and go through documentation. 3. Cleanliness of vehicle, stale smoke smell. 4. Condition of car on pick up, several Mark's scratches, bumps evident of which we took photos on pick up (which incidentally did not make any difference when returning the vehicle) 5. The agent misplaced rental details on return up to 3hrs to return the car

Cons: see comments above, also very nervous desk agent when i dropped off the first car due to malfunctions and demanded a replacement.

Cons: We got a car which had error lights on the dashboard. The representative said just take a picture of it and it will be fine. Of course the car broke down during our trip. We got the car with an empty addblue tank, probably short of oil, and only half full gas tank. There were lights on the dashboard saying it needed to go to the garage.

Cons: The fact that i was kept waiting for 1 hour with 3 kids while representative alternated between “there in 10 minutes” and “i just came but you were hiding from me because you really prefer to wait with kids and dont want a car. If you had any decency you will return my deposit. Which you don’t and won’t.

Cons: Η κρατηση ηταν για hyudai i30 και μου δοθηκε nissan note το οποιο θεωρειται χαμηλοτερης κατηγοριας. Επισης την ωρα της παραλαβης μου εγινε ενημερωση σχετικα με την χρεωση και οχι απλη δεσμευση του ποσου της εγγυησης, και μου προταθηκε η δυνατοτητα χαμηλότερης εγγύησης με υψηλοτερη χρεωση μίσθωσης. Θεωρω πως αυτα πρεπει να γνωστοποιουνται και να ειναι ξεκαθαρα στη διαδικασία της κρατησης.

Pros: GreenMotion is a scam. My rental was stolen the first week and they charged me 1785euro for it

Pros: Easy to find in airport, simple journey to collect car - check-out of the car was a bit protracted but staff were very friendly.

Cons: Cars have a lot of scratches already so the check in team tried to claim we caused the damage. They made no attempt to check the company photos taken at check-out. Luckily we had a good collection of photos.

Pros: The fact that they somehow found a way to rent me the car, however they charged me more.

Cons: The software that they are using is providing inaccurate results. I have a credit card which I frequently use and never had problems with it, however their software was saying that the card is a debit not a credit one. I even called my bank which confirmed that the card is a credit one but they wouldn’t accept it. Therefore I had to pay almost double the amount I booked the car so that I can benefit.

Cons: The car was in a bad condition, not clean, the radio was not working, the door lock was broken, parts of the car indoors assemplied with tape next to my head, small crashes all over the car, a strong noise appeared after the second day when i was turning on the engine.

Pros: All of the workers were very nice

Cons: I didnt get the car that I ordered from Discover (the agency), and NOT EVEN THE CATEGORY. also, Green Motion didnt even provide me with the same grade of the car that I ordered.

Cons: Representative came very late to the aéroport while all the others reps from other companies were all present. Then we were brought outside the aéroport to green motion office to get our car. Which add again additional delay. Again. Then we were told that return of the car could only be done at 8 am at the office while our return flight was at 11am. 2 Hr prior to flight is clearly not enough. When I asked to be able to return car earlier, they said it’ll cost more. !!! Inacceptable!

Cons: When I arrived to the location I was told that the credit card machine did not have paper in the printer and was told that I had to pay cash. I paid cash and declined the offered insurance since the credit card I used for the initial booking provides insurance. Being jetlegged I did not realize that in order for the insurance to work I had to pay the entire sum using the card. By paying with cash I was putting myself in risk if being responsible for anything by driving without insurance.

Cons: I waited almost an hour in Athens airport for the pick up. The phone no. provided didn't exist even when I called. Since I don't have an international dirving license (which is a new rule for certain countries) So when I got to the rental place I was told only if I would agree to sign a waiver and pay extra Euro 120 for extra insurance, otherwise I would not get my car. It's like being ripped off.

Cons: The desk representatives, both women, when I dropped off the car on Monday, Sep 24, were unprofessional. I arrived an hour and 15 minutes before my flight to the drop off location, expecting that there is a shuttle bus every 10-15 minutes. Only one shuttle bus is operating. Which means that one can wait 20-40 mins to get to the airport. The two ladies at the desk were dismissive and also lied that they would get me to the airport. I had to make a big fuss with the manager to get a ride to the ai

Cons: The desk of the company is not in the airport so we had too pay extra fee for transportation. The company wanted to give us old and dirty car, it also sounded very bad - I didn't agree to take it and they replaced it with a much better one. BTW They didn't had a diesel car available although we asked.

Pros: I thought I rented a premium EuroVan, since i was paying nearly $1,000 to rent for only one week. The van i was given looked like it was only worth about $1,000. It was a bone dry generic van. It was so bad, my first thought upon seeing was.....OMG, does this have AC?

Cons: When you take a red-eye plane ride with your family, including three kids, arriving in a foreign country at a strange airport, and you don't see a car rental desk for DiscoverCarHIre, you then call the number on your reservation and find out that you are dealing with GreenMotion. It was very confusing trying to figure out where to meet the representative. The representative at GreenMotion was SO rude and curt over the phone. We waited nearly an hour for the drive.

Cons: The only car rental in Greece that charged us euro75 extra because we did not have international drivers license!!! They said it was law, but they were the only ones who did this!

Cons: There was nothing wrong with the service, but the brakes on the car we received were finished. After flying for 10 hours and spending 2 hours looking for the car rental office, it didn’t click in that the brakes were screeching. When I noticed the next day, I didn’t have a GPS to find the rental office to drop it back off. Wasn’t happy about this.

Cons: They were not easy to find at the airport, came to pick us up one hour late! Did not apologize and would not refund us for the time we spent waiting. Was not nice to us and rude. Also came half hour late for the return. We waited for 30 minutes infront of the closed office and almost missed our filght! Terrible service!

Cons: The GPS device I rented did not work half of the time (it cost more to rent than the car). The service people were rude and called me a liar and an email to the customer service got me the same response.

Cons: They wrote down the security number of my Visa-card and used it themselves to pay what I was supposed to pay when I returned the car. In no way do they have the right to do so, it is theft and fraud.

(We have pictures to proof). the knob on the shiftier was broken, tail light was out, the car was missing body parts and it was completely destroyed. When we asked the agent to give us another car they said that it was all they had and could not do anything. We asked to cancel and they said if we did we would be charged, so we said ok but they would not give us a ride back to the airport and we felt stranded in a foreign country. Stay AWAY!

The vehicle had a broken side view mirror, no metal tag other than a piece of cardboard with the plate number written on it. They made me wait 2 hours at the airport as the driver wasn't there, and he is supposed to come by every 15 mins. BULLSHIT!!! I had to add an extra day as the return time of 11pm I had requested was not an option to begin with since they close at 9. Never again.

I actually said I would cancel the contract before he said ok. My contract stated $71.20 Euros owed, he tried to charge $98 Euros owed even when I showed him the contract he used three reasons why I needed to pay more.
