Pros: I got a car better than I booked. Despite high milage car was in very good condition.

Cons: Car was provided with only 25% of fuel. rental company still charged me 80 EUR to secure full tank at a return. I still await refund. Credit cards only - do debit cards! Costed extra bank fees for currency exchange service. Debit card would go direclty from EUR account.

Cons: Centauro lied and cheated on me. They didn't take any ownership of my claim. They didn't listen. They didn't try to resolve the matter. I collected the car after 10pm, they asked me to take a video of the condition of the car. It was dark! There was very little light when making the video so no wonder my iPhone could not take a high quality resolution of the defects of the car. When I returned the car they said that the defect could not be seen properly on my video! It's a disgrace!

Cons: Service was really poor. Waited 20 mins at the arrival gate for someone from Centauro to show up. Then waited over 30 mins for the shuttle bus to come. When we arrived, there were only 2 staff to sort out bookings and car returns for about 15 people. We waited over 1 hour until we picked up the car. There was no order in the office, people were pushing in front of each other and others were chatting for a really long time with the staff when there were many people waiting their turn.

Pros: Easy going, not to much paper work, pick up and return to the airport in good Vans. Good cars, return of the cars with no problems and the very good price.

Cons: The frienliness of the clerk deteriorated increasingly because, despite his horror scenarios, I dont wanted to pay € 350 for fully comprehensive isurance, because the insurance was covered by my credit card.

Cons: Unfortunately nobody came at the meeting point (arrival hall B) to take me to the shuttle bus. My flight arrived at 6:50. I was waiting at the meeting point from 7:00 to 8:17. I have pictures of the existing clock at the meeting point to prove it. I tried to call Centauro several times but they didn’t answer the phone. They answered in my call at 18:05 and they told me that between 7:00 and 8:00 they picked 10 people but they refused to prove it.

Gdy poprosiliśmy o spisanie z nami protokołu odbioru takiego auta, to kazali nam sobie zrobić zdjęcia i "spadać", bo mają kolejkę chętnych. A w dniu oddania doczepili się do małej ryski na masce pod szybą. Mieliśmy na zdjęciach kilkadziesiąt dużych uszkodzeń (w tym dach, jakby go ktoś postukał młotkiem), na których się skupiliśmy, ale oczywiście tej ryski nie sfotografowaliśmy...

Cons: Obciążyli moją kartę kredytową kwotą 360euro za tą "szkodę" (znowu bez jakiegokolwiek rachunku/dokumentu/protokołu) twierdząc, że z ubezpieczeniem mamy to sobie załatwiać. Wypożyczamy samochody na całym świecie kilka razy w roku, ale z taką bezczelnością jeszcze nigdy się nie spotkaliśmy.

Gasoline policy is take it full/bring it full, but I had to pay € 123,00 for the gasoline and upfromt he told me that I only got back € 102,00,. Why? "Service!" Bringing back the car he tried to treat me like a little boy. Snapping his fingers to "show me something." Back seat was a bit dirty. Just some dust from the foam of the COVER to keep the car clean. he wanted to charge me € 75,00 for that but I protested "in his language."

They didn’t have the category of the car that I booked and they claimed that what I got was an advanced offer. I didn’t want an advanced offer or a different category. They gave me an SUV-Jeep instead of Peugeot 208 for Athens where I needed mostly for finding parking easily. They didn’t show me how the car worked and I have never drove such car before. They charged me for petrol in advance.

It took almost 2 hours from the time I arrived till the till I picked up the car etc. Also when I returned the car it is very difficult to find the place. The gps does not recognize the place. Very difficult spot and you have to make illegal turns if you missed the location. I had to ask other business premises how to enter the strange road that Centaurus is located.

Cons: I was advised to replace a faulty windscreen wiper but my money was not returned immediately at drop off after providing the receipt. The company does keep an extraordinary amount of money as guarantee though.

Cons: There was a definite attempt by the agent at return to identify the minutest of scratches, scuffs, dents in order to extract damages. Luckily I had taken extensive videos of the car at checkout and avoided all the attempts to extract more money from the rental. This is the third time Centauro has done this and I will not be booking with them ever again.

Cons: There was no one waiting for us in the designated area as per the voucher. No one answered the phone (made 4 calls and waited for 4 minutes each). It turned out that the instructions are wrong, we were supposed to wait until a centuro driver passes by and announces himself. No explanation as to why no one was asnwering the phone (i paid roughly $25 in roaming charges trying ro reach them) The location had one employee working, had to wait abt an hour to pickup althg there was only 2 other custmr

You have to make it very clear in your web site, that when renting from Centauro, you can only drive in mainland. Also, the service was very slow at the office when picking up the car

Cons: Representatives were not waiting at the airport. We had to call and wait for the transfer to come get us and take us to the office to pick up the car. Without a sim card to make calls this wouldnt of been possible. Also you werent able to add a second driver on a particular date - they charged for the full period even though second driver was only needed for last 2 days.

Pros: That was my second attempt to rent a car from Centauro, but for my big surprise they had charged me from last year an amount of over 1,000 Euros. Last year I returned the car in a very good condition. They claimed that there was a "mechanical" issue.... nobody contacted me all this year... no phone call .. no email. This year I didn't proceed to rent a car from them because their action was more like a scammer to make me pay the amount because of the time pressure of my trip.

Pros: I usually have a really good and easy experience with Centauro but in August it was definitely a lot slower and not as efficient. When dropping off the car we gave ourselves plenty of time but the transfer bus didnt show. The staff said it would be 5 minutes. 25 minutes later and still no bus so they called him. He came 10 mons later but was in no hurry so I had to explain we were about to miss our flight. They really are not in a hurry so it would be easy to miss your flight.

Cons: We flew to Athens from Australia. When we found the representative, he already had a full car and couldn't take us. He said he would be 20 mins but he was over 40 mins until he came back. Then we had to wait for the other customers to go to the shop before we could leave. When we got to the desk we ran inside to get our car quickly because we were so exhausted by this point and the representative was extremely slow and on the phone.

This does not occur and forced to accept the car rental at a fuel level for example m8ne was 30% which is very difficult to calculate the 30% fuel level on the returning car. They do not have a fuel pump on site.

Cons: during the pick up the agents were trying to sell additional insurance. When declining, the lady threatened us we are not insured and the slightest scratch will result in huge charges. When I declined, she stopped answering my questions and did her paperwork. We escalated to the manager who apparently had a good time with his colleague - he also refused to mark existing scratches on the contract. Only after multiple requests he went out and did this. Very poor customer service.

Cons: 1. Pick up from the airport takes over an hour. 2. At the time of receiving the car, there was aggressive pressure to add additional insurance of hundreds of euros. More than three times the rental cost. 3. Advance payment for a full fuel tank that has not yet been returned to the credit card account.

Staff at the desk were very rude and bored that they were at work.. because I had to wait 1h and half in the airport with a toddler waiting for them to pick me up, when I called they said wait there, nothing else… no other information whatsoever !

I called 5 times. 2 times they picked up and said I was in the right place. Finally we spotted a guy with the correct logo and he was buying himself a coffee! When he took us out to the car, there were already 5-6 people in there. I have no idea how long they waited.

He was not even searching for any pick up nor a label with our name as stated . After chasing him around we managed to get into a van, to be dropped at the location of pick up, which was quite far from airport. Additionally, - I´reservated a small budget car like peugeot 205 - and they want me to take an SUV because they have no small car. It ended up with a Opel Mokka, - nice car but for my porpose to big.

Pros: After waiting for 45 minutes to speak to a rental agent. It was obvious they didn’t have the car I requested. A van. She (rude and sarcastic) rental agent proceeded to tell me what my credit cards (Amex platinum and 2 Visa cards (debit) would not work. I had fully insured and had paid for the car. They insisted on $1440 in a deposit. I offered cash they declined and she wouldn’t even attempt to use my Visa. Had to go back to the airport and rent from another company in peak season in Greece.

We waited for 45 minutes until we found the representative van parked outside when the instructions were he would be waiting for us in arrivals. When we got to the location to pickup the car, they lady was rude and seemed in a hurry to get home. We told her we wanted to know if the car had GPS, she said no. We asked if there was a car with a GPS and she said no. Then she suggested to cancel the booking and take a taxi.

I photographed it immediately and mentioned it to them when i returned the car. They charged 250 euros as an excess, even though the damage was there at the start and not my fault. They simply told me I should have photographed it before leaving the site. It was dark. I didnt see it.

Luckily another car was returned shortly after receiving this message, so we were able to take it (it was smaller - no cost savings was reflected, but no biggie).
