Pros: The only problem we had is there was free shuttle from Athens airport to Cargini. We couldn’t find the shuttle to take us. They said they tried to reach us, twice, but coming from USA we didn’t have service for cell phone, unless they called us on WhatsApp. The shuttle was under another name, I believe e-cars? I wish they would have given more details how to get to shuttle area and the name the van would be under. We ended up taking a taxi that went to wrong address & overcharged us.

Cons: Clearer direction to get to the shuttle service & name on shuttle van. Took taxi since we couldn’t find shuttle van. Taxi took us to wrong area, then overcharged us with his mistake, even tho I told him to go straight & not take the right cuz we were 4 mins away & ended up 19 minutes away, which made us 34 minutes later than we should have been. We paid $75 to take car on ferry since it said we needed it as per ferry, but ferry didn’t ask for it. Missed ferry to island cuz shuttle/tax fiasco.

Pros: The second car we received was in excellent condition. It was a great car to drive.

Cons: The first car we were given wouldn't start. They were able to drive it out of the back lot but when I tried it wouldn't start. They brought a new battery and it still didn't start. We wasted over an hour and a half from the time we got there to the time we left.

Pros: Great customer service! Very friendly and helpful. Relatively fast compared to other AThens off-airport agencies.

Cons: The car was definitely was not premium. It had well over 100k KMs and lacked any premium features. But I think this is discovercars fault and not Cargini.

Cons: 1. I was charged an excessive 350 euros for a small scratch on the front bumper of the car. During the check-in process, I noted that the scratches on the exterior status paper were different from those verbally described to me by the agent at the same time. 2. During the checkout conversation, I was unexpectedly advised by the agent that I should have purchased an additional cover assurance to avoid any charges. 3. The fuel tank of the car was not full, as stipulated in the rental agreement.

Pros: I liked the fact that I didn’t spend a lot of time for picking up and dropping off the car.

Cons: Firstly , I didn’t get the car that I had booked neither at least a similar one. Secondly I realised during my trip that the car had very bad quality of tires. More specifically the production date of tires was from 2022 and the car had done 58.000 km without replacing with new tires. This is very dangerous especially when the driver has to do many kilometres.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Additional driver, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 650.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Rate excludes
The following mandatory surcharge(s) will be applied: Accident Administration fee.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 72.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

For vehicles in groups Luxury, Premium, Wagons a driver license issued at least 3 years ago is required.

The driver license must be written in English alphabet.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit or debit card on a main driver's name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy

Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Visa Debit Card, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, MasterCard debit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.
Cash is accepted as a form of payment.

American Express, Cheques, Diners, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

The first additional driver is allowed free of charge.
Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon pick up. Fuel deposit prices can vary depending on the car model and the market fuel prices in force when receiving the car.
Additional information
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.

Winter tires are not mandatory in Greece.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 31 days.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 60 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
