Pros: The pick up and droff speed

Cons: I was disappointed with the condition of the vehicle. Despite paying for a car in good condition, the one I received had visible scratches and dents that had not been repaired. I would prefer a different vehicle that matched the quality I paid for and certainly I would be quite hesitant to rent from this company again.

Cons: I rented a car a Renault Clio, and paid a certain fee for it. There were cheaper and smaller cars but i didnt want it, i wanted a medium type car so paid extra for a clio. I arrived and they gave me a small suziki ignis , a lot smaller than the clio, and price was different too the suziki on the site was cheaper. Very upsetting

Pros: Amazing check in personnel. Not trying to sell you extra services. They are at the airport and no need for shuttle. Check-in and check-out was super fast !

I had to use the assistance, which came after 2 hours , to take the car and I had to find a taxi, carrying a lot of bags , to go to the office at the other side of ATHENS, to deliver the new car .I have lost about 4-5 hours (almost the day), because of that.The answer I have got by phone when I reported the incident was from a person not trained to do this job.

Pros: We've used your car rental service at Athens Airport twice now, and both experiences have been fantastic. The rental process was quick and easy, and the car we received was exactly what we booked. Your staff were incredibly helpful and patient throughout the entire process.

Cons: Our only slight complaint was regarding the car return process. The restricted access to the return area during peak hours made it challenging for a single driver to get assistance from a staff member to complete the return process.

Cons: Car had more than 100k kms and smelled like cigarettes. I accidentally left my jacket with the rental office, but it was not there upon my return. Very unethical and unprofessional to not keep a lost item for a customer.

Cons: The only issue I have in general with car rentals in Greece is the practice of not delivering with full gas tank but rather for example 6/8 full. Hard to determine how much $ gas you need to top up with since not familiar with car. Just an irritant in my opinion.

Pros: The floor mats were not properly installed (or not the right ones), and were a nuisance throughout the 3 week rental. Additionally, the car had no antenna, and I had to interrupt my trip and go back to the airport a few days later to have Avance install an antenna. This was annoying.

Cons: Got a new car but with old and crumbling carpets. The drivers carpet doesnt fit the car and got loose all the time which can be dangerous while blocking the gas/brakes paddles.

Also the brakes of the car started faulting making dangerous to drive the car. We were for hours away from Athens, so had to live with the issue of the break. This car should have not been rented to us.

Pros: The car was quite used. A few shortcomings: windshield wipers damaged, left mirror bent (problem with optimal adjustment). The rubber carpet moved and sometimes slipped onto the pedals. The radio had Bluetooth, through which I paired my phone, but the function of playing music from external sources did not work.

Cons: It was the biggest car model of the compact class, so it was comfortable for passengers and spacy trunk. Good engine, drives well. I haven't had any unpleasant experiences. Only once during the trip did the engine fault warning light come on, which concerned me. The service representative assured me that I could continue my journey. Quick contact made me feel taken care of.

Pros: Gear stick of the first car not working properly was dangerous to drive then the company changed it but even the second car was not fully functional as on the last day an engine warning light came on the cars need regular MOT and service

Cons: Finding the rental desk of Avance in the airport of Athens was easy, but finding the parking lot where they actually give you the car was a bit harder, even though it turned out to be very close to the airport. The instructions how to find it could be clearer.

Cons: It would be nice to have a summary of the important driving rules in Greece and for the cars language to be changed to English. With the first car there was a yellow tyre light and I had to download the English instruction manual to get the light to stop. And see 2 tyre repair shops and get the assistance truck.

Very unprofessional for a large car rental agency. Received a replacement vehicle the next day after complaining.

Cons: The only issue was about the car insurance because when I added the ''full coverage'' on my booking, I was surprised that the actual rental agent has their own insurance and terms which I wasn't aware of. In the end, that ''full coverage'' was only a ''basic coverage'' at Avance. I would like you to make it more clear for future costumers.

You would think spending 1000.00 on a rental car the vynyl by the shifter wouldn't be peeling, the engine wouldnt shut off on you and the brake light would work. Also the outsode condition was all digned up should have been fixed before put into service.

Cons: Return was easy however pick up took forver the man at the counter was quick but when you go to actually pick up the vehicle we waited in line and other people kept getting helped before us. Not an issue but it got to the point that i asked the representative can we be helped and he said sure. Then proceeded to help everyone else waiting that got there after us and came to us last. We were litterally the last people standing there after aproximatky 30 people came after us.

Cons: At desk: persistance to charge local currency higher rate. At collection: Wreck car with no central locking was given and not the agreed size. Damages were not reported correctly and we had to call someone to amend the whole paperwork as the car was a bunker with loads of hits. After much deliberation with pissed off employee we got a car in a better condition with central locking which was a must, but equally small. Boot was suitable for one suitcase and not 2 as the one advertised.

Pros: THE ONLY BAD THING IS THAT I HAD TO RETURN THE CAR TWO DAYS BEFORE THE DATE, AND THEY RE CALCULATE THE RATE ON A VERY HIGH PRICE AND THE OFFERED TO REFUND ONLY ABOUT 40 EURO FOR THE TWO DAYS INSTEAD OF ABOUT 160 OR 170 EURO, ACCORDING TO THE SINCE THE NUMBER OF DAYS ARE LESS SO THEY RAISED THE FAIR, HOWEVER AS LONG AS I KNOW AND WITH MY HUGE EXPERIENCE IN CAR RENTAL AS LONG AS YOUR RENTAL IS MORE THAT SEVEN DAYS THE FAIR SHOULD BE THE SAME. I WAS SO UNHAPPY AND I DID NOT EVEN ACCEPT THE REFUND.

Pros: - Comptoir facile à trouver à l'aéroport (mais le parking pour récupérer la voiture est un peu loin); - Véhicule très propre (intérieur et extérieur); - Disponibilité et rapidité du service client par mail lors de la location; - Retour de la voiture rapide et sans problème.

Cons: - Voiture récupérée avec un pneu crevé avec l'indicateur d'alerte sur le tableau de bord allumé. Une fois revenu, j'ai du négocier pour qu'ils réparent le pneu, sans me faire bien sûr dédommager des frais de péages payés pour faire l'aller retour, aucun geste commercial ni excuses de leur part; - Voiture un peu vieillissante (2007), système audio par câble usb très aléatoire, marche 1 fois sur 10; - Véhicule rendu 1 jour plus tôt et avec 1 barre d'essence en plus, sans aucun dédommagement...

Cons: Everything was perfect. It very nice to be able to pick up the automobile at the airport rather than a location reached by shuttle.

Pros: The agent brought the car to us at the airport hotel and picked it up there at the end of our trip. The car was very clean and properly serviced. Full insurance coverage was very reasonable. I found Avance personnel to be intelligent and accommodating.

Cons: The specific car model I had made did not include all mechanisms as it should. For example, I expected BMW 116i to have the GPS system installed on its computer.

Pros: Both of the associates on departure and arrival were extremely polite and helpful. Easy and efficient process.

Cons: Overall very positive experience and great value for money. The only slightly frustrating thing is the almost empty fuel tank. It would be easier if it was full picking up and dropping off the car. Also, it would be nice if the car had a USB and a Bluetooth outlet. Again, overall great experience!

Pros: Polite and punctual.

Cons: They got the BMW series 1, on the same category with the VW Golf, which is not the case with most car rentals (at least Hertz and Enterprise, BMW series 1 is one category higher). I wasn't very amused picking up a Gold when my booking was BMW series 1 or similar. That said, they didn't downgrade me or anything, it's just their car categories policy that is flawed in my opinion.

Pros: Kind and coorperating agent.

Cons: Usual talk about insurance. Agent claimed that I would be better covered with his insurance, better than the full cover I paid when renting at Discover Car Hire. Confusing and annoying!
