Cons: The actual car pick up and drop off was difficult. Picking it up was a bit far, and I had a hard time finding the drop off location

Pros: The floor mats were not properly installed (or not the right ones), and were a nuisance throughout the 3 week rental. Additionally, the car had no antenna, and I had to interrupt my trip and go back to the airport a few days later to have Avance install an antenna. This was annoying.

Cons: Got a new car but with old and crumbling carpets. The drivers carpet doesnt fit the car and got loose all the time which can be dangerous while blocking the gas/brakes paddles.

Cons: First, the car was not the type of car we had reserved. An Audi convertible is not comparable to a mini Cooper convertible. Also the brakes of the car started faulting making dangerous to drive the car. We were for hours away from Athens, so had to live with the issue of the break. This car should have not been rented to us.

Pros: The car was quite used. A few shortcomings: windshield wipers damaged, left mirror bent (problem with optimal adjustment). The rubber carpet moved and sometimes slipped onto the pedals. The radio had Bluetooth, through which I paired my phone, but the function of playing music from external sources did not work.

Cons: It was the biggest car model of the compact class, so it was comfortable for passengers and spacy trunk. Good engine, drives well. I haven't had any unpleasant experiences. Only once during the trip did the engine fault warning light come on, which concerned me. The service representative assured me that I could continue my journey. Quick contact made me feel taken care of.

Pros: Gear stick of the first car not working properly was dangerous to drive then the company changed it but even the second car was not fully functional as on the last day an engine warning light came on the cars need regular MOT and service

With the first car there was a yellow tyre light and I had to download the English instruction manual to get the light to stop. And see 2 tyre repair shops and get the assistance truck.

Very unprofessional for a large car rental agency. Received a replacement vehicle the next day after complaining.

Cons: The only issue was about the car insurance because when I added the ''full coverage'' on my booking, I was surprised that the actual rental agent has their own insurance and terms which I wasn't aware of. In the end, that ''full coverage'' was only a ''basic coverage'' at Avance. I would like you to make it more clear for future costumers.

You would think spending 1000.00 on a rental car the vynyl by the shifter wouldn't be peeling, the engine wouldnt shut off on you and the brake light would work. Also the outsode condition was all digned up should have been fixed before put into service.

Not an issue but it got to the point that i asked the representative can we be helped and he said sure. Then proceeded to help everyone else waiting that got there after us and came to us last. We were litterally the last people standing there after aproximatky 30 people came after us.

Cons: At desk: persistance to charge local currency higher rate. At collection: Wreck car with no central locking was given and not the agreed size. Damages were not reported correctly and we had to call someone to amend the whole paperwork as the car was a bunker with loads of hits. After much deliberation with pissed off employee we got a car in a better condition with central locking which was a must, but equally small. Boot was suitable for one suitcase and not 2 as the one advertised.

Pros: THE ONLY BAD THING IS THAT I HAD TO RETURN THE CAR TWO DAYS BEFORE THE DATE, AND THEY RE CALCULATE THE RATE ON A VERY HIGH PRICE AND THE OFFERED TO REFUND ONLY ABOUT 40 EURO FOR THE TWO DAYS INSTEAD OF ABOUT 160 OR 170 EURO, ACCORDING TO THE SINCE THE NUMBER OF DAYS ARE LESS SO THEY RAISED THE FAIR, HOWEVER AS LONG AS I KNOW AND WITH MY HUGE EXPERIENCE IN CAR RENTAL AS LONG AS YOUR RENTAL IS MORE THAT SEVEN DAYS THE FAIR SHOULD BE THE SAME. I WAS SO UNHAPPY AND I DID NOT EVEN ACCEPT THE REFUND.

Une fois revenu, j'ai du négocier pour qu'ils réparent le pneu, sans me faire bien sûr dédommager des frais de péages payés pour faire l'aller retour, aucun geste commercial ni excuses de leur part; - Voiture un peu vieillissante (2007), système audio par câble usb très aléatoire, marche 1 fois sur 10; - Véhicule rendu 1 jour plus tôt et avec 1 barre d'essence en plus, sans aucun dédommagement...

Pros: The agent brought the car to us at the airport hotel and picked it up there at the end of our trip. The car was very clean and properly serviced. Full insurance coverage was very reasonable. I found Avance personnel to be intelligent and accommodating.

Cons: The specific car model I had made did not include all mechanisms as it should. For example, I expected BMW 116i to have the GPS system installed on its computer.

Cons: Overall very positive experience and great value for money. The only slightly frustrating thing is the almost empty fuel tank. It would be easier if it was full picking up and dropping off the car. Also, it would be nice if the car had a USB and a Bluetooth outlet. Again, overall great experience!

Cons: They got the BMW series 1, on the same category with the VW Golf, which is not the case with most car rentals (at least Hertz and Enterprise, BMW series 1 is one category higher). I wasn't very amused picking up a Gold when my booking was BMW series 1 or similar. That said, they didn't downgrade me or anything, it's just their car categories policy that is flawed in my opinion.
