Cons: Big unreasonable increase in deposit and refundable amount. None of my credit cards had enough limit left at that moment to cover 750 euros instead of 290e and I had to use a debit card, resulting in withholding the amount for 30 days. I was misinformed that the 30 days start at rental start while they start at rental completion.

Pros: CarQ are perhaps the best rental provider I have ever used. Car is always in a flawless condition and everything is straightforward in the process. Fleet is also relatively new with great features.

Pros: Very friendly guys. There was a little delay when I picked up the car but not so much.

Cons: Car condition. The wheels wasn't balanced well and after 100 km/h I felt a vibration at the steering wheel.

Cons: Overall attitude. They overcharge me for a tiny scratch.. They are robbers and very cold behavior by the girl at the front desk! Never again! 😞

Cons: It is not professional to give a car to the client without the fuel’s tank to be full. I received the with 2/8 of gasoline in the fuel tank and I was able to drive only 190km before the first refuelling.

Cons: Trivial things such as the clock wasn't set so just kept flashing a wrong time, Couldn't be bothered to try to find out how to change it. Also got a tyre pressure warning within 10 miles of leaving the office, garage advised there was no issue with tyre pressure, but again had the warning light for the duration of the rental.

Cons: Everything it was an awful customer experience, when I questioned the €750 charge on the contract, it was met with an abrupt ‘do you want the car or not!’ I was then told my attitude was wrong as I had the audacity to question politely what the charge was for! The car was truly awful, had clearly been involved in a previous accident, had zero power, bad clutch and was not in my opinion road worthy, I wish I had declined the car!

Cons: My first sighting of a Fiat Panda - and I knew it was too small. I sought help, wanted to trade up, and felt stonewalled: The kid working with me went in, told the manager, came out and told me they couldn’t help me. When I looked back into the store, the “manager” had disappeared. Your managers need to talk, even if they know they can’t help. I’m Greek. It’s not a cultural thing. It was just poor business.

Pros: My rented car wasn't there when I came to pick it up. (not there's fauld) they gave me an another car and when the car (that I order) came a couple of hours later, they brought it directly to my hotel in Athens.

Pros: The drop off was absolutely wonderful, and the agent could not have been kinder and helpful.

Cons: The car had quite a few scratches and marks so it was a bit stressful to go over the car as we picked it up.

Pros: No problem. Helpful. The first baby seat we got was broken and the second one (a much better one) came out wet after a bit of hesitation (we think they just washed it). Apart from that all good, efficient and clear. We returned the car two hours late but did not have to pay anything extra. Highly recommended.

Cons: Provided car seats that were not compatible with vehicle. Refused to help in any way and also refused to give a refund for the seats. Ended up having to drive to a children’s store and buy brand new car seats which cost me an extra $500.

We started to take photos and then had the manager yell and started getting aggressive and then told us we are notvtobtake the car. After speaking to him and explaining that his assistant told us if we had stone chips we would have to pay for it that is why we are making sure we are taking photos and his assistant was making notes of existing scratches, dints etc he agreed to us taking the car. Cons: Not so easy to find the shuttle at airport. Car model not as mentioned in the short description but similar class. I doubt that they have the suggested brand in their fleet....but overall the car was OK!

Pros: Initially, experience was positive. The location is far from the airport but they picked me up. The desk person was polite. Gas level was at 1/8 and gas station and not many gas stations nearby so that was bit concerning but it happens. Assistant surveyed the car (almost new, just under 1,000km) while I tried to get an eSIM & internet. I took a quick look and left.

Cons: Return, different experience! Staff who checked me out was rude when I walked in. Realized later- she's the "bully". She found "a scratch" in the middle of the lowest part of FRNT bumper, almost underbelly. It wasn't mine but didn't look there, so I was screwed. She charged 163 euros (found out it'd cost less than 40 to fix, which of course they WON'T DO). Car rental was cheap but with the "extra cost" the price was same to AVIS, BUDGET. That's how they make their money. It's basically a scam!!

Unfortunately we were several hours away from Athens so it would have taken up too much time from our holiday. We then asked for compensation but they have so far refused.

Pros: Everything went very smooth! I’ve always used car rental companies outside the airport and never had a problem. Not sure why so many complaints are online. They are always more affordable due to the lower overhead expenses of those in the terminals.
