Pros: Nothing. This company is too complexe. The office of Auckland doesn't take any initiative or proposition. Worst rental experience of my life and worst customer service ever.
Cons: The way they take care of their customers when something wrong happen.
Pros: Shuttle service might be a little bit hard to find even with the instructions in the email, but the staff member's follow up call did help us to locate the shuttle bus. Moreover, since the majority of their cars are Toyota Aqua, that means you'd easy get a free upgrade from a pure petrol car to a hybrid one, saving the refueling money. And, as a Hongkonger, with most of the staff members are Chinese, communicating with them would be easy.
Cons: Unfortunately we had a tyre incident near a small town named Taihape. The staff I contacted first referred me to AA Road Assistance but in fact they are not using AA NZ as their insurance company, which AA NZ can offer no help as well. We got lucky with another referral by AA NZ to a local tyre company there. I understand it's hard to offer any help from the rental company with such a remote location but I think it clearly shows that they could offer little to no support for remote locations.
Cons: All reps were english second language and not at all helpful. Car was in poor mechanical condition and the interior was dirty and stained.

Cons: 1, I booked Corolla but got smaller size one Aqua. 2, pick up location instruction ( intl airport) is not updated and confusing .

A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.
Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
An International Driving Permit is required (in addition to your regular driver license) if the national driver license is not written in the following language(s): English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
Learner's permits are not accepted; a full driver's license is required.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Visa Debit Card, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, MasterCard debit card.
Cash is accepted as a form of payment.
An administration charge of 3 % will apply for payments made by credit card.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

Underage additional drivers are also subject to a young driver fee.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
The first additional driver is allowed free of charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
