Cons: Didn't like the vehicle. When ordering vehicle online I requested a car aged between 2018 to 2022. The Toyota Aqua was a 2012. I requested a Toyota Corolla and it says you may be a similar car. A Toyota Aqua is not similar. It is much smaller and was hard to fit our 2 suitcases in the boot. The car had dents and scratches on it plus it was dirty. The inside too was dirty. I found food on the floor plus dirt. Hardly good enough and I would not use Yes Rentals again.

Cons: Car's coolant level was below the minimum level which got me a bit worried, wheel alignment required as steering was veering to the left on a straight road, there was an issue with the gearbox which sometimes has a delay before engaging from a standstill. Hope these issues are resolved before the car is rented out again.

We effectively booked again standing there in the office. I'm not sure why after hours drop off instructions are such a big secret only to be devulged when picking up the vehicle. Yeah processing was mucky and we had to return to retrieve my husbands phone. The rep didn't give it back.

Pros: Nothing. This company is too complexe. The office of Auckland doesn't take any initiative or proposition. Worst rental experience of my life and worst customer service ever.

Cons: The way they take care of their customers when something wrong happen.

Pros: Shuttle service might be a little bit hard to find even with the instructions in the email, but the staff member's follow up call did help us to locate the shuttle bus. Moreover, since the majority of their cars are Toyota Aqua, that means you'd easy get a free upgrade from a pure petrol car to a hybrid one, saving the refueling money. And, as a Hongkonger, with most of the staff members are Chinese, communicating with them would be easy.

Cons: Unfortunately we had a tyre incident near a small town named Taihape. The staff I contacted first referred me to AA Road Assistance but in fact they are not using AA NZ as their insurance company, which AA NZ can offer no help as well. We got lucky with another referral by AA NZ to a local tyre company there. I understand it's hard to offer any help from the rental company with such a remote location but I think it clearly shows that they could offer little to no support for remote locations.

Cons: The car was very old and smelled funny. The Arial was damaged so the radio reception wasn't very good. When I told the assistant that I did not require the extra insurance to lower the excess. I was told he would have to make a call, like I don't have the right to not buy it. It was further from the Airport than expected and not convenient. I had to wait quite a while for the shuttle to pick me up and the shuttle driver did not get out and offer to help with my bags like the other drivers.

He was talking in a Chinese language to a female on speakerphone all the way from the airport to the rental facility, then he was abrupt, dismissive and extremely rude to us as we collected the car. No customer service at all - it seemed we, his customers, were an inconvenience to his social life. I do not believe someone of that nature should be working in a customer facing role.

When we returned the car, the key as taken from us by a young female worker with no word to let us know if we needed to stay to hand it over officially or whether we could leave. Three return visits to change cars: They gave the wrong car on arrival, hatchback instead of saloon, second car was faulty and third car can barely climb a hill. Also, there wasn't any easy advice in the car about who to ring in the event of breakdown, problems, etc - no doubt this was in the small print, but something more obvious might help in the event of issues (which we didn't have). That said, the car drove well and was very adequate for our purposes.

Pros: Reasonable value. There were no staff when we dropped the car off. We had to wait for the shuttle driver to return who we then gave the keys too. He was completely over worked and complained how busy he was. We saw no other staff.

Cons: Car was okay but has lots of damage. We took photos as the staff member wasn’t concerned about the damage and just said it had been logged on the computer. We received no paperwork showing the damaged areas so we took pictures.

Pros: The drop off was easy. Then they gave me a free shuttle to the airport (I had to wait about 20 minutes but it came eventually)

Cons: Not much to be honest. My flight was late so they charged me an extra $45 to be picked up by a shuttle that was otherwise included in my initial payment, the car was low quality and looked to be Chinese made and imported with Chinese instructions throughout the car, the baby seat was below average and not fitted at all and I was advised to fit it myself or seek professional help at an extra charge. The compound was quite a distance from the airport and required a shuttle.

Cons: No explanation or demonstration of the 15 year old car from a much lower line then mentioned in the contract, full of dents and bits. In the car where still earpods and a empty cup of chai tea from a previous client. Had to wait 30 minutes before being brought to the airport after a delivery. No contacts received about the returning and drop off as was promissed.

Pros: Service adequate and as anticipated for a cheap and cheerful car hire.

Cons: Not very efficient and didn't provide much information about vehicle operations and vehicle returns procedure. Very poor signage for the site which was entered through a commercial container site.

Pros: The staff from car rental company were friendly and helpful and provided fairly good services. Pick-up from airport & return to Airport were within 20 minutes. Time to pick-up and return of rented vehicle was within 30 minutes

Cons: The booking site as well as the staff (from car rental company) failed to inform on the 2.5% credit card charges. Otherwise, would have paid the car rental in cash to save the card commission charges. The vehicle was 2004 model and parking sensors not working and reverse camara was difficult to see. Fortunately, managed to finish our journey with the vehicle.

Cons: I didn't like the fact that I got charged more for the car then the agreement of the car, discovery cars took a deposit and then yes rentals took out the same amount and charged me more, so I want a refund for the overcharged amount.

Pros: Nothing. They had shit service. They don't understand that if we return the car, we want to be taken to the airport to avoid the queues. Instead they were leaving us waiting until they had finished their lunch break. They told us to move out of the shuttle bus bay and park around the back. We refused or we would have to drag our suitcases through gravel rocks .

Cons: Couldn't find the pickup location easily. No sign for Discover cars and no sign for car rent at 120 Greenacre After we dropped off the car, we expected to be taken to the airport promptly. We waited 20 minutes and even after the shuttle buss returned, the driver went to book those people in. When I asked the office people sitting in the middle room, they said no they can't help, they are having their lunch time. Finally, a lady who was sitting in the office offered to take us to the airport.

Also other customers we met had the same view about the rudeness, car was not ready for us, keys were thrown across the counter, and we were told to find the car in a carpark of about 100 cars, the paper work took ages, pick up at airport was slow.

Cons: The car was absolutely disgusting. It was more like rent a wreck. The car smelt, seats were stained, boot had green mould around the top, and it was covered in dents. To top it all, I had to leave a deposit, they had no idea of the insurance I had with you and told me that I would have to pay them and then get the money from you if I had an accident. They should have paid me to drive the car, it didn’t feel safe, no water in the washers, it was not fit for use.

Cons: They are not professional at all especially their manager I guess Christie or Christina. Have a only car instead of a Camry said there is some issue. Took the car in 2 kms the wipers came off during the heavy rain and they asked me drive back in the pouring rain later just added a screw when asked to give me a better car they said no asked my for a solution.
