Ezi Car Rental at Auckland Airport

Pros: The staff were helpful on the International Airport pick up.

Cons: They should have checked that we were arriving on Auckland Domestic Airport instead of letting us pick up the car on the International airport.

Pros: Quick and seamless process for pick up and drop off

Cons: That they took money with out letting me know ow

Pros: So easy to find at the Auckland international airport, and so easy to return. Friendly and helpful attendees

Pros: There was only one lady on duty at the desk so there was a fairly long wait, but when served she was friendly, efficient, and caring.

Cons: Nothing really. The rental car booths are a fair way away from Arrivals, but that isn't Ezi's fault - all the companies are in the same area.

Pros: Car was in good shape, just needed new tires, and tire pressure was low when we received.

Pros: Everything was perfect

Cons: Operator very helpful

Pros: Very fast the pick up

Cons: The request for damage due to a scrach under the front bumper that I did not do

Cons: It’s really difficult to find the way to drop off the car. You should clearly give instructions on how to find the way to return location. We spend more than half hour to find the way to return location.

Pros: The quickest pickup and drop off I've ever had (have had many re tals over the years). Staff customer service was impeccable. We stopped into another branch to add a second driver, super easy and quick. Can't recommend more.

Cons: I have absolutely nothing negative to add, would recommend in a second.

Pros: Helpful friendly staff, good well prepared car.

Cons: Nothing, all good

Pros: Efficient staff, clearly explained!

Cons: Nothing, would use again.

Pros: Amazing service. Great new car. Great value

Pros: Ezi cars are friendly & welcoming

Pros: Bright and cheery meet and great

Cons: Didnt like the walk to pick car up but only because of upgrade works When returned car no spaces in ezi park area So put next bay over

Pros: We booked the car for 7.30pm. The plane was early and we arrived at 7pm at the desk. We did not get the car as it was not ready. Absolutely no flexibility. We only received the key at 7.55. Will not book it again!

Pros: Efficient, received a new car

Pros: Absolutely excellent service and in the bargain with a lot of smiles and friendlinesse.

Cons: Easy, Friendly professionel

Pros: Simple and efficient process from car check-in and pick-up to return.

Pros: Staff at front desk were cheerful, very helpful and gave us great directions to collect our car

Pros: Ease of collection and return

Pros: Staff friendliness, professsionalism and support. The Ford Puma was a wonderful car to drive and being hybrid provided some economy considering the current cost of fuel in New Zealand. Great all-round.

Pros: Easy process. Nice clean car, which was a pause to drive

Cons: The walk from the desk to the car due to building works

Pros: The Ezi desk rental at Auckland airport was easy access. The service was polite and efficient.

Cons: The wait for my car was over an hour. The car was worth the wait and the staff were apologetic and considerate. It was a busy holiday time of the year I understood they were working within their capacity. No problem.

Pros: Friendly staff, great car in good condition

Cons: arriving at the domestic office and being told to go to international at Auckland airport

Pros: The Asian lady at the international airport was super friendly and so helpful. Had a tiny issue but she sorted everything out for us. Please give her a massive thanks. She is a star. Thank you

Pros: Car was good

Cons: Not answered phone after office hours. Was hard to get hold of someone before picking up the car

Pros: Very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Mainly the consistency of information auto mailed and on Web sites and attempting to get clarification prior to trip

Pros: Very very Ezi - no hassles at all

Pros: Type of car

Cons: Dirty windscreen inside

Pros: Simple and problem free service

Cons: Desk staff have no idea of company policies upon returning the car. Ignorant and rude staff when questioned about road tolls. We were told upon picking up the car that it was our responsibility to pay which we tried but nz.govt_toll informed us that ezi had already paid for it with an extra fee. When asked at the return desk they told us to contact customer service as they have no idea about the policy. It is a catch 22 and one way of ezi ripping customers off. In the end we managed to solve it

Pros: Speed and efficiency of pick up and drop off

Cons: Misleading information about rental car sute( a lot of construction happening at airport)

Pros: Friendly and efficient

Cons: Car park too far from terminal

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Every thing was good clean and looked after

Pros: Fast service. Went with Discovery, but EZI rental was the company. Clearer signs in airport

Cons: Maybe direction when dropping off the car. Final sign out and post drop off inspection to ensure Additional charges don't happen.

Pros: Finding the drop off was a bit of a mission but was so happy that there was someone in the shed to direct me to the right place.

Pros: Conveniently located and knowledgeable agent.

Cons: International drop-off. No agent at drop-off and not informed to park and drop off key at rental desk.

Cons: The price was approx $250 more than discover cars quoted. I was totally unaware that the insurance was with discover cars and I would have to pay full excess and then claim it back. It seems that discover cars is only skimming the hire car companies and not offering anything substantial

Pros: Competitive price

Cons: The pick up service was terrible, took nearly 2 hours to get our car….30mins in a queue and then nearly 90 mins whilst they faff around trying to source the car and get it ready. This seemed the case for all customers with Ezi generally being very unorganised.

Pros: Easy drop off.

Cons: Although english is not an official language in NZ, they asked us to have our EU driver licenses translated to english. This did not happen in 2 other car rental companies in Auckland we had booked the same week. It took like 45min to get the car. The location to pickup the car is in the airport terminal, not thhe outside parking spot. Thanks
