Pick-up instructions
Once you are ready for pick up, please call us at 0064 3420 2878 to order your shuttle. The shuttle is a WHITE van, with EV HIRE yellow label on it. For the Domestic terminal, please wait outside Door 7, in front of Jetstar Departure. For the International terminal, after a custom security check, please exit through Door 8, walk across the pedestrian crossing, and follow the sign of "SHUTTLE" to all shuttle waiting zone (The walk takes approximately 5 minutes). Our shuttle will collect you from the airport and back to the EV HIRE depot. It takes about 10 minutes (depending on traffic). After hours drop-offs must be prearranged (send Email to Auckland@yesrentals.co.nz) and cost NZ $45.00. NOTE: The reception working hour is from 08:00 to 18:00, and the last free shuttle from the airport is 17:45, Any pick up from the airport later than that time must be prearranged and a late fee of $45 will be incurred.
Drop-off instructions
Please return the vehicle to 120 Greenwood Road, Mangere, Auckland. We provide the free shuttle service to the airport. Note: The reception working hour is from 08:00 to 18:00, and the last free shuttle to the airport is 17:45, Any drop off later that time must be prearranged and a late fee of $45 will be incurred. After hours drop-offs must be prearranged (send Email to Auckland@yesrentals.co.nz) and cost NZ $45.00.

Cons: I didnt like finding out that the full cover that I paid for would only be paid by Discover cars after I had fronted u with the money and paid for repairs out of my personal pocket. This was not explained and was a constant source of anxiety while driving.

Cons: Not that I didn't like and not an issue. Thought to share as other travellers may do the same. Followed instructions as per email to walk across pedestrian (outside door 7) of domestic terminal and wait in the area "shuttle area.". Luckily I spotted the pick up van that was actually parked outside the front door. The driver rung me at the same time I started walking to van advising he was waiting.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 2445.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country. The driver license must be written in English alphabet.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy

Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Visa Debit Card, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, MasterCard debit card.
Cash is accepted as a form of payment.

An administration charge of 3 % will apply for payments made by credit card.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Using a ferry is allowed on the previous request and for an additional charge with special permission from the car rental company.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
