Pros: I used a Suzuki Swift which served my needs for two days in Auckland. Probably the only thing that was slightly different was the left side indicator lever and lights in the car. I'm accustomed to these parts on the right side of the steering wheel. It took several tries to pair my blue tooth off my phone but once on, it was fine. The Suzuki Swift car I had was very economical and used approximately $60.00 of 91 fuel for a road trip from Mangere Auckland to Cambridge, Te Awamutu return to Akl

Cons: Customer service were quiet and respectful. I would suggest that less expensive payment alternatives to credit cards be offered. The surcharges on my Australian debit card were horrendously expensive. Customers who don't use a credit card should not be charged these extra transaction fees. Use of electronic apps like WIze credit card and Remitly to do bookings would be great.

Pros: Fast and easy also providing check-in prior to picking up car was a huge plus which made things even faster

Cons: One thing I wasn't happy was the inside of front window was a bit dusty, and I had to bring a towel and wipe it myself. Another thing was, this is too small a thing but, compared to car rental services in Japan, the staff at the reception could have been a bit more friendly, but outside Japan, this is just standard, no bad element at all. The content of service was satisfying, with clear explanations.

She wasn’t great at engaging or talking and literally grunted instead of talking. Some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

Also we had an accident when stopped at a give way and someone ran into the back of us. The car was drivable then but unlockable. I was told that to change it I would have to drive it back to Auckland and pick up the replacement. Impractical.

And even then they picked up after a number of repeated calls. The agent who picked up was very curt on the phone. The shuttle took over half an hour to arrive after the phone call to the company. After reaching the office, we were kept waiting, while prioritizing Park-n-fly customers who arrived later. The car was an old model.

Cons: It wasn't Rentalcars247, that was the problem. I think it was Discover Cars. There was no clarity about the insurance cover which made it a nervous trip in the case of an accident. Rentalcars247 wasn't able to explain it sufficiently saying it was arranged by the agent which I presume was Discover Cars. It seemed that were there an accident where we were at fault, we would have a $2,000 excess whereas we thought we'd purchased full insurance cover.

Pros: Once we got to the rental car location, I was in and out of the office with my car in less than 5 minutes. Drop off of the car was even quicker. The car was very new, very clean, and very reliable. The price of the rental was one of the best we found. Overall great experience.

Cons: My only complaint was the difficulty at getting picked up from the airport on the first day. It would be better if they had an easier way of getting to the rental car location. We waited for over 30 minutes for the shuttle to pick us up (after attempting to call the provided phone number and not getting an answer about 5 times). More efficiency on this end would be much appreciated by customers. (I should note that the drop off at the airport was incredibly fast and convenient)
