Pros: Very good value for 10-day rental. Pleasant staff. Had to wait for shuttle for about 20 min both at pickup and drop off, but worth the trade off for the price. Rented a sub- compact which was fine for two people with luggage, except it did not have much power going up some of the hills.

Pros: Quick pick-up. It was an older car with some scratches. I took photos/video as they didn't record existing damage, but there were no issues. Our DiscoverCars insurance was accepted without problems. The drop-off was very smooth. After 7 days, we returned the car in its original condition (just a bit dusty, including some dust and a box of trash inside, but nothing was an issue). They even helped us check our highway toll payments. The car ran reliably the whole time.

Pros: I wasn't sure what to expect, but the staff were super friendly and made the process effortless, it honestly took a load off my mind. The drop-off location was right next to the airport — super convenient, it's rare to feel this stress-free when renting a car. Keep up the great service!

Was directed to go to the airport and wait at the drop off curb side parking to wait for someone to pick up a car. And i did not not book it with Ezu. It was with Discover and they must have sublet the vehicle order.

Pros: My experience with EZU Car Rental turned out way better than I expected — the car I got was clean, modern, and comfortable to drive, i've already recommended them to two friends. Returning the car took less than five minutes, which I appreciated, i was genuinely impressed. Five stars.

It continued repeatedly and it took about 40 minutes before they finally took the call. And it was nearly one hour later that the shuttle bus finally showed up. Not a comfortable pickup experience.

Pros: Really good value - I was rather worried when I realised that our 5 seater car was an 8 seater van dating from 2009-2014, which I hadn’t appreciated till shortly before collection, but we were delighted with the vehicle and with the service we received. I booked using my mobile phone and couldn’t see why there was a price difference between 5 seater saloons - I assume it was the age of the car - but the rental turned out so well that I’ve given you top marks for everything.

Pros: We rented a mini van for 6 people with suitcases. Drove over 2000 kms in 2 weeks on both North and South Islands. Car never let us down. Spacious and comfortable enough. Overall communication with Ezu easy. Can recommend them. Remember though to take pictures and videos of your car at pick up as they can be a bit disorganised at handover.

Pros: Although it took some time to get a hold of them, once contacted, Ezu Car Rental helped us with the towing and replacement car as soon as they could after our accident with the first car. Great customer service since then.

In short: a car (in this condition) should no longer be rented out.

They are running a scam by providing extremely worn out vehicles and collecting $1000 NZD deposits for damages like a small window rock chip. Then telling the customer it is okay because we can get our money back from our insurance. Beware Max (Asian female manager) and the other reps.

Cons: Please read! Scammed and was taking advantage by EZU and we have evidence. The vehicle was extremely worn out. Bumper was falling off and came loose after we had left town. This damage was not disclosed. Tires were bald on the outer tread pattern. The car was dirty inside and out but was still visible that the paint, interior, and windows were in bad shape. We made sure to do our best to care for the worn vehicle. Upon return the manager and reps stole our $1000 NZD for a small rock chip!

After 15 minutes a lady came. I asked her that I was trying to call but it seems noone was around because drop off was at 8 am. She just replied "yea". She didnt even say a sorry. Althought I have told her that I was waiting and couldnt reach out. Secodanly, the car didnt have a seat height adjusting lever.

Cons: Lack of understanding, state of car was not good

Cons: The car had bald tyres, the door remote did not work, the car was old. Would never use them again. would rather pay more and feel safer.

Cons: Had to contact them for pick up when it clearly said on my booking that they would meet at airport with sign, rang number on booking and it was for South Island only and I was in the North - little issues I know but all makes a difference when you are time strapped

Cons: Car type was different to what I booked, however it was similar and was mentioned on booking that it may differ.

Cons: Called a few times when I wanted to be picked up at the airport. No answer which left me anxious with the fact it would have been a scam. Office hours starts at 8am, still didn't answer at 8.15am. Finally got picked-up at 8.30am. After driving for 5 minutes and needed to turn left, I discovered the left back indicator wasn't working. So didn't feel safe during busy traffic in Auckland. Also, dropped-off the car at exact 8am. The office lady showed up at 8.10am. Very unprofessional.

Cons: Nothing. BUT I made a huge mistake. Somehow my booking got linked to Discover Cars who charged a whopping “service fee” which almost doubled the cost of the car. My advice - book directly with EZU cars and keep well clear of Discover

Cons: Moment speed went beyond 80-85 km, car would wobble and shake. Not sure if it was to do with wheel alignment not being done. Also the rear camera was not working properly. Not at all safe for our journey.

Pros: Quick and easy - was able to get on my pretty quickly once picked up and the car was cleaned. Great drop - super quick.

Cons: The car wasn't quite ready on arrival, so the windows were pretty dirty still and the car energy sounded very throaty, but I wasn't planning on driving very much so i carried on. Had I been planning long drives I would have been a bit more concerned about the energy noises

Pros: They were kind enough to collect me from the airport terminal

Cons: The car was at least 10yrs old had a terrible odour inside and smelt of dogs, in addition the brakes were faulty and the suspension faulty. The car had dents and scratches over all 4corners and some rust on the doors from damage to it. The electronic sliding doors were faulty too The car pictured on the website was a brand new model. When I queried this they offered to give me the new model but stated it was $100 per day

No signage, calls to 3 seperate numbers before call was answered for pick up. Office was shared with Chinese logistics company and everything was cluttered and disorganised
