Pick-up instructions
International Terminal Arrivals: 1. Once you clear customs and exit into the arrivals area. 2. Make your way-out to Door 8, cross the pedestrian crossing and follow the ‘Car Rentals’ sign to the Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Alamo, and National Car rental office in the AKL Airport Transport Hub. Domestic Terminal Arrivals: 1. After retrieving your luggage, exit through Door Number 4, located adjacent to the food court. 2. Cross the domestic terminal forecourt to reach the multi-level carpark building directly opposite. 3. Once inside the carpark, descend to the ground floor. 4. Look for Enterprise, Alamo, and National Car Rental office, which you'll find situated on the far left side of the building. If at any point you have trouble locating office, please don't hesitate to call +64 9 870 3330 for assistance.

Pros: Nothing, poor service, very rude ladies at the check in counter, they were totally unprofessional. The car was dirty, food and wrappings were left inside.

Cons: The two Samoan ladies were rude and unfriendly, they couldnt have cared less whether we or other customers were there or not. They talked rudely about us right in front of us, they kept talking to each other by having private conversations, giggling, laughing and ignoring us and other customers. We organised the car to be picked up at 11am, the car wasnt ready, we were told we would have to wait another 45 minutes which we had already waited. When we eventually got to the car, it was dirty.

Pros: During my 16 hour flight Alamo decided to cancel my car without reason. The number they gave in the email did not get answered. Desk at airport had no info and was closed when others were open.

Cons: Complete lack of customer care. Cancelling a hire car without reason is very unprofessional. I was attending a funeral and nobody was there to help. Still they have not got back to me to explain.

Pros: The guy at the desk was under the pump, was flustered. We ordered a Mitsubishi ASX, told us we were getting a hilux, ended up being a ASX. Ok with that. We had to wait 40 minutes for the car to be ready, the clean was a rush job.

Cons: The car rental agency set up being offsite from the airport was inconvenient, however understand logistical reasons why.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 2300.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium location fee, Vehicle registration fee, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.

Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: flight information.
Due to an increased theft risk, all domestic renters must provide the following additional documents: proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill), credit/debit card information.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 0 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
