Cons: The car provided and the location were average despite noting that I took the.cheapest option available

Pros: Pick up & drop from airport. The car was in the good condition.

Pros: I didn’t not like that the owner would not let me finish speak and angrily interrupted me. He would say it was not his fault that the wheel caps came off…he was very unfriendly and charged us money for a defect on his car. I think wheel caps should not come of while driving…

Cons: I saw the car presented in the picture online was a new sukuzi swift and we got a 20+ years old Nissan, which worked fine but the picture was misleading. It was scratched all over and we were happy we had taken a lot of detail pictures so we couldn’t be charged for that. We could have rented a much cheaper car if we chose for a very old one.

Cons: Unsafe vehicle, multiple features not working, car extremely dirty.

Pros: Efficient and friendly

Pros: Great value for money

Cons: We would have liked the car to be cleaner, but in retrospect, we did request to pick up the car one day earlier, so that might have been the cause.

Cons: The service was great but the car did not meet my expectations

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Not helpful when we’re in trouble with blown out tyre charged us for tyre even though we had insurance have not sent us a remittance or receipt asked several times

Pros: Shocking from the start. Booked car for pick up at 8am, I wasnt able to pick car up closer to 9am as they didn't open till 8, car wasnt ready when I got there. Organizer was very pushy and didn't seem to care. Won't be using them again.

Cons: Messy car. As I was taking photos of the damages, the organiser was trying to push me out kept saying "its fine". Chip in front windscreen, right in drivers view, 1 headlight wasnt working properly, wasnt cleaned at all, pet hair, drink spillages, very dirty on the outside.

Pros: Friendly and helpful

Pros: No problems.

Pros: Great cheap option. Car condition reflected the price but I wasn't in NZ to drive a car

Cons: Pick up was frustratingly slow as van not marked and the agent didn't see us waiting in full view

Pros: Nice people

Cons: Far away from the terminal. Pick up took about 45 mins.

Pros: That the car didn’t break down during our rental period

Cons: Everything. Pick up shuttle was a disaster, took more than half an hour. No friendliness at car pick up. Everything really slow. Really old car with lots of damages. Didn’t stick to full-full fuel policy.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: From the time we landed to driving out of the yard it took 1hr 30mins. The car was dirty and had scratches and holes. It didn’t feel very safe to drive. The guy who picked us up and dropped us off was a very wreak less driver and made us feel sick. We paid $1500 as a deposit and still waiting for the money. It’s been 4 days already and we want our money back.

Cons: In first comment

Pros: Great Service

Pros: Fast Pick up and drop off

Cons: Bit rushed upon drop off

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Waited for 1/2 hour for the pick-up, person on the phone barely understandable, charged extra $100 because I wanted to drop the car outside office hours, pulled the $2500 security deposit from our account instead of holding it, car was ok clean on the inside, but dirty on the outside, nothing is computerized .. they didn’t know what the deposit is.

Pros: The price was low, but not worth it. Continued from below: separate me from other customers made me feel unsafe, like they were running a human trafficking operation. Would not recommend. Should remove from your website

Cons: The car was old (a 2012 Prius), dirty on the inside upon pickup, and poorly maintained (there was no windshield wiper fluid). The location is offsite, and although they had a shuttle van at pickup, they did not have it for return. No one was present at the office, and I had to call to return the car. They also wanted to separate me from other customers to drive us to the airport terminal in a returned car. It makes me think that they do not have airport permission for drop-offs, and the need to

Pros: Great service and easy to use.

Pros: Car ran well.

Cons: Car really needed a good clean.

Pros: Everything was as arranged ; they were efficient and polite with any questions I had

Cons: All good , Thankyou

Pros: Excellent and got a great deal and price

Cons: Good recommend

Pros: Top notch. Only thing is when you first pull up it doesn’t seem like a car rental but they were great.

Cons: Zero complaints.

Pros: I didn’t. Would not use them again. Shame on DiscoverCars for “recommending” them. Need to vet rental companies deal with. Looks very bad on DiscoverCars.

Cons: Not open til 9am. Called for pick up, guy answers hello. No identifying self as North Car Rental. Office sketchy. Unprofessional to deal with all around. Didn’t provide copy of signed contract at time of signing nor after repeated requests. Kept saying would. Never did. Car very scraped up/worn interior, not totally clean. All of it made me feel uncomfortable about driving car. Felt relieved when returned car I had no issues. But not good feeling to have worry if did,in back of mind whole trip.

Pros: No fuss, get in and get out!

Pros: Setup very poor ,had to call to get some for a shuttle pickup. Asked a stranger to call as my phone would not work

Pros: Price was the only good thing.

Cons: Poor customer service, the person was talking on air pods with someone else while checking me in.

Pros: Only the drop off was quick but was ignored when I said the radio didn’t work and neither did the left window dial to wind up window from drivers side

Cons: Radio don’t work , passenger side don’t go up without leaning over to do it . Was not picked up from airport for ages and told to go to wrong spot . Had to walk a long way

Pros: Very affordable (you get what you pay for) and quick pick-up and drop-off. Car was a hybrid, which was perfect for city driving and fuel efficient for longer days of driving too.

Cons: Initially hard to reach when it came to figuring out the pick-up at the airport. Granted, we arrived earlier than anticipated and North Car Rental got in touch with us just before our planned arrival time to let us know where to meet them.

Pros: Read above re discovery cars

Cons: Nothing

Cons: The give a 2012 old car. That have high mileage. Car was very dusty. Even the front light not bright and the right front light have faulty

Pros: Friendly enough

Cons: Not great detail about the particular vehicle. Car a long way from airport

Pros: Pick up from airport and drop off to flight. Car was clean tidy and affordable

Cons: Things I didn't like were things that I could have changed, (pick up and drop off time being in business hours)

Pros: Ease of hiring

Cons: Confusion regarding pick up

Pros: Car was dirty Not cleaned or washed before delivery

Cons: Car was not washed

Pros: they answered the phone promptly and transfer was smooth.

Cons: Slight mix up with which car was ours but sorted out to our satisfaction.

Pros: Quick service...

Cons: Car is not in great condition but excellent value for what we paid for

Pros: Really old car, needed a wheel alignment, car shook. Seats had stains and also the car was rusted. People should be legitimate and not shoddy..

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Service was good, pickup at airport worked well.

Cons: The guy that picked us up was not very friendly, customer service was very average. Not interested in talking, drove in silence the whole way. When we got to the airport to drop off, he didn’t get out of car to help with bags. Not very helpful. Cheap car rental, but not great customer service.

Pros: Staff is friendly

Cons: Car is dirty and has a strong smell. Poorly maintained car, not recommended for long rental period more than 3 days. Risky!

Pros: Great price, and return of holding fee was instant.

Cons: Even though I'm from NZ, there is many changes around the airport. I spent 20 minutes trying to find my way to the main Highway. Nighttime, no knowledge of the streets was very frightening when travelling alone.

Pros: Timely service

Cons: Windshield wipers were shot

Pros: Great service

Cons: Very friendly

Pros: Car was ok but made so much noice.. looks alike gearbox has issue

Cons: They need to mentioned after hour service charge price form airport to the rental car office was $50

Cons: They tried to scam us

Pros: Awesome service Apreshatable

Pros: Good and economical cars

Pros: Cheap and easy! Really decided by price !

Cons: Service was quick just waiting for airport drop off now!

Pros: Good people good prices

Cons: The$2500 bond was a bit steep but I understand that

Pros: Nothing! Everything was a total cock up

Cons: Everything. No contact. Not there. Can’t get my deposit back

Pros: Knowing what they were doing.

Cons: Didn’t have the vehicle and they had to go off sight to get the vehicle knowing that we were there and being booked.

Pros: The chap at reception was very polite and friendly

Pros: Excellent value.

Cons: I was not met at the airport as promised in the email. I had to ring to let them know i was waiting.

Pros: The car itself was good

Cons: Took over an hour to pick us up from airport. There was one man doing everything so there was a queue of people waiting to be processed. We didn't get a rental agreement. There was no petrol in the car. Luckily we knew where the nearest petrol station was. The owner lied to me when I complained.

Pros: Price for value

Cons: Staff rude and requested additional fee on drop off to release the bank deposit.

Pros: Easy pick up and drop off, well maintained cars and good customer service

Pros: None

Cons: Hidden fees, bad customer service, fuel was not fill when picked up

Pros: Cheap and everything works

Cons: A hassle to get what I paid for. Car old and worn out, cleaning could be done better. they did not have my car available so they tried to give me another model which I did not agree to so they brought the correct one over the next day. Was alright but would not work if needed to leave the city straight away. Had to fill up the fuel although it was their mistake not having the car ready. Also car was cleaned but a bit sloppily so. Old car model so pretty worn out and no modern cons.

Pros: Super helpful. Easy.

Pros: Was picked up and dropped off from the airport at very difficult hours without any issues even after flight was delayed

Pros: While driving the rented car, no issue was found. Car was in good condition, cleanliness. Car works as it should.

Cons: After service query is slow and non responsive. Maintenance charges imploded after car service is return. Deposit place will not be return.

Pros: Free shuttle and good communication re picking up point from airport

Cons: Forced to pay extra for insurance when arrived at pick up despite email stating that this is not necessary and that our payment was all inclusive. Called discover cars so they could explain to north car rental agents which led to a very frustrating circular conversation, discover cars hung up and we were forced to pay on the spot in order to get to our accommodation in time for check in. Additionally charged us a cleaning fee despite no prior advice that it was necessary to clean before drop off

Pros: They dropped us at the hotel we were staying at when we dropped off the car

Cons: Charges not declared when we ordered the car so spent an hour trying to sort it

Pros: The competitive rent

Cons: Initial communication when I arrived at International Terminal of Auckland Airport
