RentSmart24 at Bergamo Airport

Pros: Everything smooth

Cons: I was unable to collect my RentSmart24 booking. Staff rejected my Capital One credit card, stating “we can’t take this, the bank is online only and has no buildings.” My card was a genuine credit card, in my name, meeting every criterion listed in your Rental Conditions. Your voucher states cards issued by “online-only banks” are not accepted. This term is undefined and no excluded issuers are listed. Capital One UK is a fully licensed, FCA/PRA-regulated bank.

Cons: Pick up service at airport to rental firm. Extremely speedy ride, not safe. No English.

Pros: Perfect contact, fast pickup and dropoff, no issues

Pros: Nothing. The girl who serviced us was incredibly rude and unhelpful and for what should have cost us £60 we had to pay over £300!!!

Cons: Too many to mention. Will never ever use this company again. In fact it’s put me off for life ever renting a car again

Pros: I liked that they had a good price, were friendly both at pickup and drop-off, were communicative, and didn’t try to sell me all kinds of extra options.

Cons: I didn’t like that I couldn’t pick up the car key directly at the airport and had to go outside and look for it, so it was farther away. I also didn’t like that the car wasn’t the most powerful, but I wasn’t that disappointed—it was okay.

Pros: - Fast pick up and drop off - Good value for money

Cons: - The car had a lot of minor scratches and damages, so you needed to pay a lot of attention to take photos and videos to every single one - They provided a "similar" vehicle, which was not necessarily comparable

Cons: - Hard to find, can't be reached over the phone (on the number provided by the airport help desk) - They cancel your rental one hour after selected pick up time so they can charge you extra for being late - Never offered insurance packages, wanted to get rid of us with basic insurance. - Car had no washer fluid, wipers were very loud when in use, worn-out to an extent that you tried avoid using them - No desk /at the airport, no information about them. The shuttle bus very far from the terminal.

Cons: The car was delivered with numerous damages, 24 points in total, making it difficult to even find an undamaged area on the vehicle. However, the drop-off report now claims that I caused a “slight damage to the roof (Tetto - Roof),” which I am confident did not occur during my rental period. I have already emailed twice requesting a photo of this alleged damage but have received no response. Despite that, I was charged €423 for a repair I could not even see during the four days I used the car.

Pros: on-line checking, services 24 hour

Cons: I received a car with a multiple collision report, and they charged me an additional amount even though I didn't hit the car, all so I would have to buy full coverage in the future. The car rental for 5 days was less than 170 euros but I paid more than €400

Cons: When you don't speak Italian you can have some delays of shuttle bus. And nice to have cleaner interior and checked fluids like window cleaning.

Pros: low cost, quick drop-off and quick ride from the airport to the parking

Cons: the hidden fee for picking the rented car later than the selected hour - I understand if there is a fee for dropping the car later than the initial hour OR if you want to pick your car earlier, but I don't understand the fee for picking your car within the already paid renting period.

Pros: Stress-free, fast, and convenient.

Cons: None

Pros: Great service and value for money. They offer a shuttle service but it was only a 12min walk from Bergamo airport.

Pros: Very fast pick up and drop off of the car, friendly staff. Shutlle bus service is also perfect. Strongly recommend RentSmart24!

Cons: Tyres of my car were warn out and their change should be considered.

Cons: Was charged for existing damage recorded with video

Cons: This company is just a scam. Pick up was ok. I signed lot of documents. I got car. Took some photos. It had some invisible marks I didn't bother to check more. When I returned car, a woman from the office suspiciously went straight to the front end and pointed out almost invisible damage. I showed my photos of the damage but he refused to see and accept them. Small scratches where propably covered with something and after rain they became more visible. Read reviews before you go here!!

Pros: Good service and helpful agent. Fast deposit refund (<5 min).

Cons: During pick-up and drop-off had to wait for like 5-10 min due to the fact that whole job is done by a single employee. Car was a bit underpowered in the mountains (Citroen C3).

Pros: Good value

Cons: Shuttle bus was a bit slow

Pros: Bardzo szybko i sprawnie

Pros: Very efficient, quick and friendly service. They have a regular shuttle bus from the airport exist to the car park, so it is easy to get there.

Cons: The shuttle bus driver was rude on the way back to the station - we were sat in the front of the bus and he wouldn’t allow us out seat belts on and became annoyed when we tried to put them on, but we couldn’t use them because they were wrapped and twisted around the head rests.

Pros: Super fast pickup after online check-in. Super fast drop off. No problems.

Cons: There was no option to wash car on site so proper pickup examination could to be done.

Cons: We were given a smaller car than expected. The car was not in a good condition and had many scratches on it. The car needed windscreen wash and when I pointed this out it was filled up by one the staff. Unfortunately they only gave me enough for about 4 uses and it ran out again very soon. The car had no winter tires but I was told that winter "socks" in the car will be fine. The bag of winter "socks" was empty and the staff had to give me another.

Pros: Fast check-in/out. The car was in a good condition.

Cons: They charged me ~200euros for two small scratches on the rear bumper. They also don't provide the original papers, therefore we were about to be fined in Austria.

Pros: the flow of taking car and transfer from airport was ok

Cons: According to googles review of this place 3.0 - they scam people a lot. this happened to be a got dirty car(literally dirty with marking of someones kids legs on internal plactic) with a lot of outside and internal scratches not marked on the contract. And was charged after drop-off for 400euros. I still don't know for what. they haven't send any documents yet. I was hesitant but only went for them because of really good DiscoverCars rating (>8). Got scammed, unlucky.

Cons: Non accettare le carte di credito che scadono prima di 3 mesi.

Pros: Personal super kind and professional. Grazie!

Pros: Top service. Agents are great. Fast pickup and drop off. Online check in was easy

Pros: personel is OK

Cons: quality of the car drop off/pick up to far form airport. other companies does drop off/pick up at the door of the terminal

Cons: We waited more than one hour te take the car. It was only one person serving, meantime that they charged additionally 75 eur due to late hour. I didn't understand for what was this fee, since the the service was disaster...

Pros: Very kind and professional service. Extremely quick and hassle-free pick up and return. Would recommend to anyone!

Cons: With constructions at the airport, it wasn't very straightforward to find the pick up location. The official airport signs were wrong. The instructions in the email were correct but people would automatically follow the signs and something is signposted. I would add a line saying there are construction works ongoing, pls ignore the signpostage, follow this direction.

Pros: All very efficient

Pros: very efficient

Cons: Luckily an italien customer told us to check the car insurance, what was expired. Never thought that we have to check that in a rental car

Pros: Fast pick up and drop off

Cons: We arrived at 22:30. Service worked till 23:00. It takes time to get by shuttle bus to the point and after 23:00 they charged 75 euros for night service. Although the couple before us didn’t pay such an amount.

Pros: good car

Cons: They ask for a second coverage and they took 35€ for the reason we didn’t do the full but we did

Pros: It was fast, professional, no complaints. The car was great.

Pros: good shuttle service to/from airport

Pros: The car wqa very good and pretty new

Cons: We also rented a baby chair and the baby chairs were very dirty. They really should clean the baby chairs after each use.

Pros: The agent skipped the insurance offering step and went straight to the car pickup procedures.

Cons: Need to increase baby chair assortment because now I can choose from only one option, and it was without ISOFIX. It was not safe to travel with a one-year-old baby. Next time, if I rent a car from you, I will just take my own baby chair.

Pros: Amazing customer service

Cons: N/a

Pros: Almost everything

Cons: Information about shuttle bus pick up point and pick up point distance from airport.

Cons: When I booked car from discovercars i choose car with full coverage. Car rental was 45€ then 41€ I have to paid on the desk for car insurance. When I came to the carrentals24 to pick car they said thats 45€ I paid just for brokers( discover cars) and I have to paid 41€ for the car rental and choose full coverage!!!! At the desk I paid 160€!!!

Pros: Good car prices.

Cons: Not enough information about car insurance.

Pros: Efficient, friendly and serviceminded.

Cons: Rude attitude at the customer services who were blackmailing to cancel the deal upon asking questions about the vague terms & conditions.

Pros: We’ve made an online check in, so the picking process was relatively easy. The dropping process also went smoothly.

Pros: Free pick up and drop off to the airport

Cons: Minor delay in pickup times but nothing too major.

Pros: Absolutely nothing. Worst car hire company I have ever used.

Cons: the shuttle dropoff point was 500 m from the terminal entrance, and it was raining

Pros: Nice and prompt.

Cons: I like it all.

Pros: easy drop off, shuttle bus but in bergamo location set is wrong. we went by foot to pick up, but 15mins walk. picked up car was broken (start-stop has been broken). after trying to fix it and phone consultation they proposed to car lvl up. it was even to big for us, but comfortable and twice expensive.

Cons: there is only one window for customers. it took a lot of time and because of my case, other people lost their time to fix my case.

Pros: Fast returning of the car.

Cons: Their online check-in is senseless as they ask again for all your docs and credit card and you wait at the desk. Also car they provide is not appropriate.

Pros: Smooth and fast pickup and drop-off the car. Simple process

Cons: No desk in airport. Need to find shuttle bus to get to the parking place. On the other hand the car is in the same location.

Cons: I did not get a car for a reason that their system didn´t manage to pick up my credit card. In the end, I had to cancel the reservation. Pros: Manager's communication and help! Super responsive Very supportive Extremely friendly and professional Feeling of personal touch Help with check in process that made seamless pick up Transparency

Cons: None :)

Pros: The staff had very little people skills and we got a very small car but if we gave them €55 more we could upgrade we ordered a Peugeot 208 we got a Fiat Panda

Cons: Very curt and it was like “ I’m telling you “ attitude and when we returned the car the girl that checked it in brought 2 empty bottles and a couple other bit of rubbish I would loved to have said “I don’t work here “ but didn’t because at that point she hadn’t agreed that the car was in good order so again I complied with their very ignorant attitude, albeit Discover Cars were perfect.

Pros: Many external damages

Pros: Everything was smooth and staff was very helpful.

Pros: They force me to buy insurance while i payed for that .

Cons: The unpleasent service all of it is plot

Pros: quick and efficient

Cons: Had to add AdBlue myself. The car was making a strange sound. Not very friendly staff.

Cons: the only caveat is the car itself :-) I borrowed an Opel Astra and they wanted to give me a Fiat Panda, which must be seen as a form of joke. After several minutes of waiting, I got a Fiat 500X which was already acceptable although it is still a smaller car than the Opel Astra. In addition, the price list on the website shows 30 euros / day and I paid 40 / day. and I did not receive any discount. So it's a bit unfair that you are not being offered what you ordered, but what is available at the m

Pros: Very good experience, definitively will go with rentsmart24 again ! Very kind and helpful staff !

Pros: Ochota, možnost zapůjčení vozu i mimo běžnou otevírací dobu půjčovny.

Pros: Gave me the car that I rented and they were open 24/7, which is great for late night flights.

Cons: The manager was aggressive and throwing his hands in the air when I returned the car, because apparently I was supposed to clean it before return. It seemed more like he was my client who was extremely dissatisfied with the services he was paying for. Crazy.

Pros: Nothing, very inefficient and staff very rude

Cons: Inefficient service, disorganised and rude staff

Cons: Dont show ripoff...

Cons: Qualification of personal. Pick up procces takes for me 30 min.
