Cons: Terrible experience and abusive charges Received a car full of dents, dirty inside from previous users, and with a locked radio (requested the code via WhatsApp and they never provided it). To top it off, after drop-off they charged an extra €25 for "cleaning" due to outdoor environmental dirt (bird droppings) and normal usage dust, despite the official return report stating €0.00. Zero professionalism. Take photos of everything if you rent from them.

Cons: Staff were not friendly. The car had 70000 on it. The rear window opener was broken , the radio would not work. The performance of the car was not good. But the most annoying was that we had to pay 75 euros for out of hours pick up. Fine but I had to do all the work for them on line , there was no one from the company to greet us instead the shuttle brought us to the car, the car keys were left in the car and that was it. What did I pay the out off hour fee for ?

Pros: I didn't like anything, I would not recommend booking with discover cars or parking go or ciao rental... etc.

Cons: The transfer bus pick up location at the airport is just dangerous. The bus drivers didn't know that they were collecting passengers for ciao rental and were initially not going to take us on the bus. At record go or discover cars or ciao rentals pick up location there again was confusion as the agent found it difficult to find our booking. Then there was the notice about cleaning the car before returning it. You didn't not tell me I needed to clean the car before returning it.

Cons: Inspection of vehicle prior to handover - first one was full of cigarette smoke and ash

Cons: Customer service, if my flight got delayed they wouldn't even care, did not even provide alternatives. They have this uncalled for clause that if you do not appear at least 1h on the set date they automatically cancel your reservation without reimbursement. I then asked for support and no reply.

Cons: I returned the car clean except for surface dirt expected from a 10 day rental, but was fined contrary to contact terms: "return the vehicle in the same condition of cleanliness and general appearance in which it was received, allowing for normal use of the vehicle during the rental period. If, at the time of return, the vehicle is found to be in an unusually dirty condition or requires extraordinary cleaning, the Lessor reserves the right to charge the Customer a penalty of €25.00"

Pros: The lady at the dr drop off at Linate was very courteous and helpful.

Cons: The person at Bergamo was very unco-operative and cheated me. The time for pickup was 21 hours (9 pm) and my voucher stated that I could pick up the car by 9 49 pm but he started calling me from 8 30 pm before my plane landed and told me that his office hours were only tilll 9 pm and charged me extra time charges for reaching late. The shuttle for pick up at the airport was also not available. Despite having paid for additional driver, he wanted to charge me again. Charged me for car cleaning

Cons: The staff member at the vehicle return location was rude and unprofessional. He seemed unhappy that we had booked through Discover Cars and purchased insurance elsewhere instead of buying additional coverage from the rental company.During the return process, he inspected the car for an unusually long time, apparently looking for something to charge me for. He then argued with me over a very minor issue, causing a delay and almost making me miss my flight.The vehicle was also poorly maintained.

Pros: Everything was just perfect! Thank you for your help and the highest level of service!

Pros: Very good value for money. The process was simple and smooth, staff were friendly and helpful, and everything worked as expected. The car was in good condition and perfect for a short trip. I also really liked picking up the car at Bergamo Airport very convenient location.

Cons: Nothing major to complain about. Maybe clearer instructions or signage at the airport could make it even easier to find, but overall everything was good.

Cons: From trying to find the correct shuttle bus to get to them, having to wash the car before return, the quality of the car provided, not a full tank of petrol and no water in the windowscreen wash, the most excessive insurance for no excess (£400 for12 day cover). The intimidating staff, particularly on car return. Awful experience. I would strongly recommend you remove them from your platform!

Cons: SCAM WARNING!!! AVOID! At rental desk they charged us extra 60% for snow socks, otherwise the car would not be equipped according local laws for driving in Italy during winter months. Significant hidden cost! After that they BLACKMAILED us for another extra 40% surcharge for final cleaning. They said if we had not paid, they would have charged us much more upon car return, unless we had cleaned the car perfectly. No standards about cleaning were stated anywhere, so we should expect to be charged

Cons: The worst rental company I've ever dealt with. First, the parking information I received in my confirmation wasn't accurate (they'd moved to a different location), and I waited over an hour for the shuttle bus that graciously picked me up. Second, I wasn't informed about hidden fees, such as a daily fee for chains or the cost of car washing, which tripled the rental price. Third, the car washing fee was supposed to be €15, but I was charged €50.

Cons: I hated everything about the experience with Ciao Rent. Mainly being charged €600 for a small damage on the windscreen that was already present at the time of pick up. The employee was very aggressive with me and called me a liar when I shows him evidence.

Cons: Scammers. At pick-up they told us we need to return the car washed or pay 15EUR for the washing. We returned the car freshly washed and they said the interior should have been cleaned also (which they didn't mention on pick-up) and that we have to pay 20EUR now for the interior. So basically we returned the car clean and they robbed us of 20EUR.

Cons: Staff was grumpy and slow. Customer didn`t feel valued.

Pros: Very good value for money - all elements from pick up to drop off were clear - no attempt to upsell on insurance either.

Cons: Was a little tricky to find the location from the airport (although they did provide a video). Snow chains and car cleaning were extra charges.

Pros: The rental booking online was clear and easy. The car was just what we expected (same model, clean and working). The price was also great compared to other rental companies in the airport area.

Cons: The pick up service from the airport is was not efficient. We waited for around an hour for pick up. The staff were extremely rude at the rental office, only insisting to immidiately sign the contract with wrong deposit amount and without explaining the process in detail. Also reaching the rental company by phone / whatsapp was difficult (no answer multiple times). Overall the attitude of the staff felt rude and unprofessional which affected the experience.

Cons: The office did not recognise the full car insurance aquired directly on discovercars.com. There has been no personnel in the office for drop off, the office has some kind off deal with the personnel from the other rental company located at the same adress, which were kind of rude and just picked up the keys without performing a check and providing the termination of rent.

Cons: Poor guidance for the pick-up point (clarified subsequently with videos and photos). Long waiting time with our son (1h plus) to pick the car - only 1 agent (not most friendly), poor internet connection delaying even more the paper work. Paid few extra euros more than what I was supposed to. Doesn’t matter much but the fact the agent had different amount to pay than the voucher was saying was quite embarassing. Got other car than what I booked, it was visibly damaged outside. Don’t recommend!!

Cons: After exiting the plane, we notified that we had landed and did not have our luggage. Ciao car lady informed us that she wasn't sure if all of us would fit (there were 6 of us). Well... she arrived with a Fiat 500. We let another family go ahead and we waited for an hour and a half for her return, and eventually decided to walk. At the rental office, she wanted us to pay 18 euros for snow chains, even though the voucher stated that they were included.
