Target Rent at Bergamo Airport

Pros: The transfer was good and we didn’t wait much for pick-up

Cons: The agent was a bit rude. The car was not very clean, the windshield was very dirty (inside and outside) and there was no water in the tank to clean it. The gas was not full as it was supposed to be.

Pros: Nothing, quite shocking.

Cons: They did all kinds of threat, about everything, about insurance, about the clean of the return car, the man refuse to provide to me a list of all scratches of the car, they sad to me that “ if I want protect my self I need to do a better movie from the car”. I think that this behavior is unacceptable.

Pros: The drop-off is quick, but there must be someone who inspects the car in front of us, not after we leave and deduct additional money from us. This is simply fraud.

Cons: The renter later deducted additional 180 euro from our deposit claiming there was a scratch on wheel. We do have pictures of car when we returned and now as we left the country so we can not get it back. We have purchased insurance while booking. At the time of pickup Target rent agent still forced us to buy another insurance from them. Now that we have paid additional 179 euros what is the purpose of the insurance we have bought

Guys from Bergamo office were really frinedly. Shuttle to airport works 24/7. Early drop-off possible (we left the car at 5:30 AM). Fast unblock of deposit 3 working days.

They didn't understand english and they didn't answer after many times of waiting on expensive international calls we did until someone listened to us.

We got a Kia stonic which they said was in the same class as a golf but there is no comparison. The car really struggled going up hills or accelerating and was a health and safety risk. I had an issue with my booking and one of their staff intervened while in the middle of process when I was on the phone with ‘Discover car CS’ He was very rude and disgraceful. he was not even the staff that were dealing with my issue at the time. Cons: Appalling aggressive agent, a young Arab Italian guy, got angry when we didn’t take extra insurance. He was extremely threatening to my pregnant wife. When we returned the car he tried to force us to sign some badly handwritten form that would allow them to bill us an unknown sum for damages we hadn’t made to the car. The moment my wife questioned this he became highly intimidating again and shouted in her face. Luckily my wife is a lawyer so she wasn’t persuaded by his bullying tactics!
