Pros: Very easy and friendly

Cons: They asked for a supplement of money at drop off because they made a mistake at pick-up and mentioned the hour of return as 13 instead of 19 which was on the voucher. I didn't notice this at pick up. So they charged me another 62 euro because of 5 hours of "being late" ( even that I came back at 6 pm instead of 7 pm which I had on the voucher)

Pros: Very helpful people. I booked at the wrong airport and though it was very difficult to reach the right people and phone numbers they helped immediately

Cons: The pick-up point at the airport did not appear in the voucher and was really hard to find.

Pros: Both pick up and drop off were smooth. Staff were helpful. Importantly released the deposit as soon as I dropped off the car. Didn't have to wait forever like my previous rental.

Cons: There was no document with existing damages, I had to take my own photos of it when we pick up the car. I prefer to get a document from the rental company at pick up.

Cons: We waited quite a long time for the shuttle from the airport (about 20-30 minutes), but that's not a big deal. The car wasn't very clean inside and smelled strongly of cigarettes. But considering the price of the car (very affordable for a very good car), it was all forgivable.

Cons: Avoid. Complete con artists. 9/10 customers were having their bookings cancelled for various made up reasons. We were told god example that our car was no longer available as we were over an hour late due to our flight being delayed. Only for it to miraculously be available as long as we were prepared to pay extra. Clearly some collusion going on here between discover cars and Galdieri rent. Avoid or be ripped off.

Cons: We lost a day of our holiday and had to leave early and pay for somewhere near the airport as galdier don't open till 8.30 and our.flight was 9.20 so we wouldn't have made it through security etc. They are also very busy so we had to wait for a long time when we collected the car sitting on the floor in the heat as 2 people.were trying process customers and answer a busy phone line.

Pros: The behavior of the staff at the rental desk was completely unhelpful, rigid, and frankly inhumane. The lack of any willingness to assist us, offer alternatives, or even explain the situation properly was extremely disappointing. We felt like we were treated with no respect or empathy as paying customers.

I was charged an additional €170 for being just over an hour late due to a flight delay because of the air traffic control being down due to technical issues. I tried to contact switch board ahead of time but no answer. Did not accept cover I had added on to previous car so had to pay excess waiver again. Would NOT recommend at all.

Flight was late and together with wrong parking we needed to pay 30-40% more then original price and it took approximately 20 minutes to get the car. Only one person working so check out took 30 min. We also heard another person renting the car that he needed to rent it “again” but with their prices. Bargain!

Pros: I always find the young lady, Subita, who works at the Bergamo office a delight. She goes out of her way to help, is friendly and polite, despite often being overwhelmed by the number of rentals. Top class service as are the cars.

When I returned to the car, a company employee purposefully went to a certain place in the car. . Shows me a kidney on the glass and says that this didn’t happen. And the glass needs replacement. It will cost 700 €. I say, I made a video before I took the car. He asked to see it. He was shown a video, His face changed dramatically. I understand that he knew about it.

It would be a much more comfortable experience if Discover Cars instructed the actual rental company not to "bully" customers into buying something they've already purchased via Discover Cars. Such tactics are common place and devalue the Full Cover offered by Discover Cars.

Pros: Although car rental was not inside the airport, instruction were given very accurately. Since we have to take the shuttle to rental place, car pick up will take considerable amount of time

All these things were very stressful & costly for me upon my arrival in Bergamo Italy. Therefore, I would be grateful if the refund of the approximate 68 euros could be refunded to me ASAP. Thanks.

Cons: Snow chains was not part of the rental and I have to pay 5Eur per day for it. I had no idea, that snow chains are mandatory - there was no warning, otherwise I would choose another company. Problem with shuttle - long waiting time despite the fact that we indicated the flight number. Another problem was with number of seats in shuttle, it was an 8-seater shuttle, but 9 people were waiting for it. So 4 people sat on three seats, which was uncomfortable. The car did not have air condition.

Cons: The owner of garbaldi rental was very rude; didn't explain much; the contract wasn't in English.He told me last minute I had to return the car a day before as they close at 22. The shuttle bus driver didn't leave me at the airport, I had to walk around 7 min.

Pros: Because of our predicament, using third party booking was a pain. Never use third party agents again. The lady at the desk was very helpful and manage to help us get a car to drive. We have blind person with us so travelling around without a car wouldn’t be easy.

Cons: They couldn't complete our contract with DiscoveryCars and we had to pay an extra insurance (421,38 euro) otherwise we couldn't rent the car and the shop was about to close. We told we didn't want an extra insurance because we were fully covered. We want to recieve a credit note for the difference (265 euro) of the contract price and price at the shop! Even the rentalcar they gave us without the contract of DiscoverCars, wasn't ready. Empty fuel tank, chewing gum on the floor, .....

Pros: The original price that we were quoted and expecting when we landed.

Cons: None of the shuttles would take us to the rental. I called the company and they cancelled my booking with no notice. We were 15min late as the shuttles were all full. They tried to rebook us a new car for €900+, instead of the agreed price of €375. Absolute criminals. Had to take a car from the stand from europcar for €1065 as I was not giving Galdierirent a cent of my money.

We ended paying twice as much as we had booked for a much smaller car. What more? They are nothing less than crooks

Cons: my reservation is in the name of Paola Serao as main driver but the Galdieri rent company forced me to pay the second driver because your booking confirmation was missing. I had the printed confirmation but they insisted there was no communication from you and I was forced to pay for a second driver. Who will have to reimburse me?

Cons: Long delay for pickup shuttle. Attemt to sell us extra insurence. Difficult to contact on the road if you don't have a phone line (didn't acttualy have to)

Cons: Had choosen a Citroën C3 that have grown into VW Golf size with the latest models but we ended up with a Lancia Ypsilon (Fiat 500 size). Unless we would pay close to 260Euro for a pretty unclear insurance, seems like there is something strange with insurances in Italy, had already paid for 2 insurances when booking, this should be made clearer to consumers/less complicated) then she would upgrade us to a more C3-sized car. I said no to that offer. The Lancia was though and almost brand new.

Pros: I turned up and they said they had given my car away. I had to change flight to a later time but I didn’t think I would need to change my car booking. When I pay for something I expect to get it. Not be told there is some small print they can give it away and still charge me. I turned up with my wife and kids and found I had no car and had to spend 7x the amount renting a new one. I would like a refund. I paid money to rent a car. I expect it to be there on that day when I get it.
