Italy Car Rent at Bergamo Airport

Pros: They wanted additional money. They cheat. Wanted money 35 eur for cleaning car, i cleaned in 2 minutes. Then they wanted 1000 eur for demage on Window, which was not done by me. I had photos, but they did not want to look at them. Staf is rude.

Cons: That we had too pay for the insurance twice, and when I try too contact you it s all in Italian and I dont speak italian. Then we help you bye telling you that the fuel measure was broke on the car and now you re checking if it was our fault, if we would not have helped you, you wound not have found it. Christer

Pros: The pick-up person was ok, the car itself was good

Cons: took hours to get the car, there was one person at the counter and service was slow, the car was absolutely filthy and dirty inside and outside, they are lying that I have done a scratch and withhold huge amount from my deposit

Cons: As mentioned obove: I booked my car for Saturday 19th of October 2024 for10:30PM, I was 15 min before my rental start time. At the counter was tardy service lady. Lot of other customers was waiting. Finaly I have got my car few minutes before midnight and I had to pay 60 EURO airport fee for service after 11 PM. My complaint is, that this was not my foult that rental operations in my case was delayed, I am dissapointed that I was dealing with situation like this and was charched extra 60 E

Cons: The lady rental officer - Valentina, was rude and didn't speak English very well. During the process if picking-up she was talking with her colleague some private staff. She also proposed us additional insurance in very aggressive way, despite we explained that had signed Full coverage with our reservations on Discovercars and we trust it.

Cons: There is no service provided at all. Sent to two locations to collect the keys. Then I had to search the car quite a bit further at the far end of the parking lot. There are three men sitting in a cubicle doing nothing but no one to pick up the car for you and go over the damages present with you or give any kind of explanation. No one present to take the car in and then afterwards falsely claiming damages.

Cons: Their communication, trying to extort money for damages prevalent before picking up the car, not being available when returning car to talk and hand over keys (no person around), car was in terrible condition and dirty inside.

Cons: Mis-sold insurance. Bought through discover but told at the desk that it isn’t valid through them. Somebody is lying, but I am past caring. I will never use either company. I hope you all lose your jobs

Cons: The car was not full with diesel (75% full) I bring it full return (as in rules stands) but didnt report on the list when bring back.

Cons: They write that it’s in terminal. Only desk it’s on terminal, for the car you need to take shuttle. When you return the car during evening/night in the parking it’s very dark and without proper indications. After I succeeded to park from where I took the car the person from desk wasn’t satisfied and I needed to bring the car back at the office eventhough I had full casco and I wouldn’t need to pay even I had some damage. Overall, it was only about 50 € cheaper than Sixt…not worthy!

Cons: The representative refused to rent the car to us as we arrived 30 minutes early and was told we had to wait and return to the back of the queue. When we said this was ridiculous and stupid the staff member refused to serve and rent us the vehicle then lied when he spoke to your representative and said we said he was stupid...why would we say that, we didn't even know him!

Cons: They gave us summer tires during winter time it almost caused us many accident on the road . Then so many mistakes start appearing on the car computer . On the drop off car they were very aggressive and not helpful . We got charged extra 600 euro without explanation

Cons: they cheated me. They gave me 65% fuel and told me it was full tank. Also, they gave me the car with many damages and I told them the next day, the car has some damage that I didn't cause ... they said once I left the parking lot... it's all my responsibility.... fuck them

Pros: Italy car rental has provided a good service, especially when I returned the car. The car was in good condition although its dashboard showed issues on day 2 ,but fortunately, none was serious.

Cons: Their response time to issues facing while renting the car was poor. Sometimes ,they took hours to even respond with some silly advice, however, luckily I was not faced with serious issues to the car.

Cons: Car had a lot of minor damage. I suspect there was tyre damage to the side wall of the tyre when we picked the car up but did not spot this. It was not spotted on return either though.

Pros: It was terrible, firstly they told us we could bring the car back with half a tank but then charged us for it and secondly they have claimed we damaged the car and we absolutely did not .. now looking at reviews of this company they do this to everyone to try scam money out of them.

We had to wait 2hrs at the airport for a car to be ready, they told us to bring the car back with half a tank and we did but then we’re charged for it.. out of my account that wasn’t from the deposit! We got the car and it was still dirty from the previous drivers and lastly they have tried to charge us for damage we did not do, looking at reviews of this company are all the same and they continue to do it

Pros: Rental agent was helpful, but still I needed to call Discovery helpdesk (in UK) via my cellphone. I would expect renatal company should deal with problems themselves, instead of me. Overal, my problem was not solved at all.

Cons: No booster seat available, I was traveling with child. Renting car became a problem to solve quickly by myself. Rental company allows to book services they cannot deliver and they don't care.

Cons: After dropping car I was confused as I had to put "digital" signature on mobile device without seeing document for the signing. Being in the rush (droping car, runing to the plain) after receiving by e-mail "signed document" I had impretion that additional cost apply becouse of discovered damages. But finally everthing was cleared.
