The Locauto-Enterprise rental office is situated inside the rent a car area, after exiting the arrivals gate keep left. The car park is located inside the P3 car park at Bergamo Orio al Serio airport, which can be reached by following the signs "P3 car park - autonoleggi car rental". The car park is also connected to the airport by two shuttle buses.

Cons: I don't know if the car was disinfected or not. No sign. The car probably has not the preventive maintenance for long time: the pollen filter horrible stinks, so the AC could not be used. The tires - probably should have been changed for some time; THe GPS - low cost, useless. I finally used my mobile Goolgle Maps.

Cons: I'm completely disgusted that Alamo decided to charge me €100 for fuel . I dropped car back early on the morning and couldn't find a petrol station nearby. I gave the car back with over half a tank of fuel still in the car yet the people in Alamo decided to charge me €100 for fuel refill. Absolute robbery. I will never use nor recommend Alamo/ Enterprise ever again!!!

Pros: he rental car pick up outside the terminal building was efficient and helpful.

Cons: The Alamo Car Rental Disk service inside the terminal building was poor and not satisfactory. The car type booked and for which we had a confirmation for was not offered to us. We had to try rebooking thru Discover Car Hire with a different provider at the airport and at double the cost. Alamo had the selected car available but would not offer to us until the end and at a cost of almost 200 Euro extra. With tired and unset children I took the car and paid the extra cost.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Airport surcharge, Third Party Liability (TPL), Road tax, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Mileage policy
For rentals of 28 days or more, mileage is limited to 117 km per day.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 3 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).
Learner's permits are not accepted; a full driver's license is required.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit or debit card on a main driver's name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher. Renters from the following country(ies): Italy must provide the following documents: additional ID showing home address (e.g. Utility bill) in order to collect the car.

Crossing country borders to Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom, EU countries is free of charge.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

During winter season (from 15.11 until 15.04.) Snow chains are included in price.
All extras are available at the rental counter. Prices vary, depending on the rental period.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.

Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.

A maximum of 59 minutes is available for service outside of business hours.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
