We felt like being cheated,took for granted and trapped in their office with no way out than paying additional 500e to what we booked for. Their office is located in industrial area, no way to get out from there unless taking a car from them. It was worst experience we ever had

Pros: The baby seat pre paid for my 14 months daughter wasn’t even ISOFIX and was very worn out and unsafe ! The padding was missing and the baby seat was hard to be in . Was disgusting !

Cons: They made me pay extra money for the insurance saying that the money pre paid by me via your website wasn’t covering nothing, they didn’t give me any choices other then pay an extra £300 refundable, and £397 on top of the money paid already when booked on your website. They didn’t give me directions and address for when I had to return vehicle . I had to Google the address to return the vehicle.

Basically told us our Voucher from Discover Cars was worthless. He said we had an excess of £4000 which we would be charged in full if there was even a scratch on cars. As we had hired two expensive 9 seaters! He demanded we pay a further £450 per vehicle! He was aggressive and we felt scammed! We were left without cars!

Also the car had damage on all sides and every time I started the car it popped up saying it was 3 months late on service

Pros: The bumper was damaged when we got the car and help by an old piece of tape. When we drove on the highway it flapped in the wind. We spent 15 EUR to buy new good quality to tape it.

Cons: We received no guarantee in writing that the damage was there before we got the car so we took a video ourselves as evidence before leaving the parking lot. Also, the was no record of the fuel same-to-same, when we returned it with more than when we took it, we were questioned about it. We got an upgrade, so although it was not ideal, we really should not complain - it was a great car considering the upgrade but we still fear complications due to lack of documenting when we picked up the car.

Cons: the office outside of airport, you need shuttle to get there. The rental company didn't want to give me the car because on my driver license they didn't find word INTERNATIONAL. I rent cars all over the world with this driver license more than 10 years. They asked to add 150 euro on top of previous price and then the license became valid from their side.

He tried different schemes to make me purchase that - needed a credit (not debit) card, on which he blocked 900 €, but I also had to prove that I hav 2500 € available on the card. He even asked to see that in my mobile banking app!!! The car that I picked up was dirty and with lots of scratches. I’ve filmed it all around and sent the video to them.

Pros: Nothing, really! Bergamo Airport dept must stop working! The agent (3 June 2022, 09:00 a.m.) was totally rude! He did not admit any problems we coped with. Indicatively:we couldn't find the shuttle bus to pick us up, for more than an hour and even after we to called him 3 times, he did not advise us properly. The shuttle bus had no obvious logo, just an A4 size of paper sticked on the rear side window. The agency resides in a car parking 3 km away. Only 1 agent to deal with 9 queuing clients.

Cons: The agent told every customer that he didn't accept the full coverage they had bought online by X-Cover. The same happened with us. When I objected that I wouldn't buy again a full coverage because I already had one (VCJFX-FVRXW-INS), he threatened me that he would withdraw 700-2000€ for deposit. It was a real blackmail. He led us to the point that we pleased him to pay twice the coverage to get the car, since in the middle of nowhere we couldn't find an alternative solution. NEVER AGAIN!

The pick up location was dark and difficult to inspect for damage. No snow chains provided. I was told winter tyres were fitted, in the light this turned out to be a lie. On return of the car they tried to charge me 50euro for cleaning the car despite this not being in the t&c and the car was dirty when we picked it up.

Pros: The car was fine. But very unpolite caragents (the Company name is: surprice car rentals) I’ve rented many cars during the last years and I’ve never had such a bad experience. They would not accept my visa-card (I’m always using that visa card). If I would buy “the full cover insurance” Then they could read my visa card. I told them I already have the insurance via my own insurance company. There reply: “it’s good to be more covered.” I think that is blackmailing. Never use them!
