Felirent at Milan Airport Malpensa

Pros: Nothing! I wish they close! I am sorry for the customers that fall to their hands!

Cons: The people working in the reception of ferilent are rude, liars. They told me that I can bring the car cleaned, or instead I will pay 10 euro. When I returned it they said I need to pay 25 euro instead of 10. The 10 euro tariff was a prepaid option, and not an after return option! This was not said or written anywhere at the time of the check in, and they use it to get 25 instead of 10 euros!!! Of course the receptionists were very rude during this communication!

Cons: They are scammers! My flight got delayed so i contacted them to let them know my new pickup time. They told me that i need to pay 200 € extra for picking up the vehicle later than the original pickup time. When i refused, they canceled my reservation without my consent and never refunded me what I had already paid for the reservation.

Cons: Service was very unprofessional and the agent was very unkind and unhelpful - she tried to scam us into paying 500 euros instead of 200 (convincing us that 1+1 = 5). Car was dirty on the outside and inside and the tank was half full. Watch out for all of the hidden additional costs, they are trying to scam everyone.

Cons: The office was understaffed and took us very long time to be picked up from the terminal, waiting for the paperwork, etc. More than an hour from the time I contacted the office to send a shuttle to the terminal to pick us up (it's a 3 min ride) until we got into the car and left. Also, while doing the paperwork, significant charges were added, like Eu5 per day if you are outside Italy.

Honestly I don't think I will ever book through this online company anywhere around the world rather pay bit extra but have a better and reliable service

Cons: The day before we were supposed to fly back, we were informed that the flight was cancelled. We called the rental company's offices and asked to extend the period by two days, they told us it was possible, but the price they offered was 2 times what we paid for the entire two-week period and 10 times per rental day compared to what we actually paid. Since we did not agree on the price, we had to drive 3 hours from the office in Milan to return the vehicle on time.

Cons: I was forced to pay for a full coverage (32€ a day), because they wouldn't accept my debit card for a deposit. (Information that was not on Discover cars when I booked, it was communicated to me AFTER booking confirmation). When forced to pay fora full coverage, magically my debit card got accepted

Pros: The efficient pick up procedure and shuttle bus - even late in the evening. The office representative’s (man on arrival) clear and excellent English - even over the phone. The helpful “Felirent” sign on leaving the motorway. The fuel economy of a Skoda.

Cons: The inside of the car was grubby; the outside was stained. We weren’t warned that we need a road toll sticker to drive on Swiss motorways despite saying we hoped to go into Switzerland. Fines are VERY heavy. The different information about the deposit: - on arrival we were told the 700 Euro deposit would only be taken in the event of damage/extra charges; - on return we were told that our deposit would be returned in around 10 days! That is confusing and gains them 10 more days interest.

They slightly ask about additional insurance and slightly warn about damage excess fee but it is normal with third party full insurance via Discover Cars. We recieved Opel Mokka in choosed section Compact. Returning was quick, nevertheless they had office full of customers.

Pros: They gave me car with my debit card. Inspite of I have card with no name on it (name only in mobile bank). No limits for mileage, it is convenient.

Cons: I had a problem with autostrade.it, the felirent did not help me with it, i have resolved problem by myself. Also too much money spent for the rent a car. I understand that felirent decreases its risks. But it is at my expense.

I showed her videos of when we picked it up it had the damage already but she kept shouting she wanted payment. Called me stupid in front of my family. Extremely disrespectful and disappointing service from this company. Her manager had to step in and apologised of her behaviour. However we still had to pay for the damage which we didn’t cause. We have taken this up with their head office on next steps.

Pros: Still haven’t got my deposit back. Told me they’ll send me the email tomorrow. Still haven’t heard anything from them !! Very tragic experience!!!

Cons: I was harassed into paying 979$ for the little dent on the windshield. I was taken advantage of , couldn’t even talk with them because I was very sick from Covid and was in the hospital the day before returning a car. And they knew I was flying back home right after that. They told me they have to change the whole windshield because of the little dent and they cannot charge me for little dent because it’s not the system!! And when I asked for my deposit refund they said system is not working!

The waiting time for a transfer was around 40 minutes, and it was +35 outside. - After returning the car I got a bill for $125 just because the fuel level was 10/42 instead of 12/42... So I had to use a magnifying glass to see the difference... When I booked the car it was written that it would be at full gas level but they gave some random level and then charged $125 for this difference. Unacceptable.

Cons: Came with half a tank which is then difficult to return with the same level - you either return not enough and face hefty refuelling charges or return too much which they won’t refund. They also ask you during the check out if I wanted to be charged 10eur for cleaning the car after returning it which I found odd as there’s no obligation to clean the car before dropping it off unless it’s very dirty. I found it a bit cheeky and confusing as it’s just another way of ripping the customers off.

Pros: Pretty straightforward and good value. Waited a little while for the shuttle despite giving them a heads up about our arrival time and the place was a little hard to find when returning the car (even with GPS). Everyone there was nice and efficient and there were no issues with the car.

Cons: It would have been nice for the shuttle to drop us off at our airport hotel instead of the terminal given that the airport hotel was still within the airport area and we were the only ones in the shuttle at the time. It would have only added an extra minute or two for the shuttle driver and would have saved us a lot of time transferring around with all our luggage.

I called my credit card company and they said that there was not even a try to issue the transaction, when I came back and said that I will call main office to clarify things the card started working. The situation made me incredibly nervous, otherwise it would be 10 stars. No other annoying moments after that

Cons: The vehicle provided to us had lots of body damages. Thise damages weren't described/noted on the papework provided by the rental company. They asked us to take pictures of all the damages upon ar pickup. It is very easy to miss things during the process and then get (over)charged for that. Cons: They cancelled my booking for no reason My plane it was being delayed for two hours only and when I reached the airport I called them and there are no response from them . So, I called them next day and they are told me we cancelled your booking.

Cons: car pick up experience is a total disaster. Been waiting at the airport for more than an hour but shuttle never came, staff is not helpful when I called, after waiting for 40 mins, she just mentioned he is coming and never willing to let us know the time frame. We paid Uber to drive us to the car pick up point, and staff blame us for why taking Uber and no one take responsibility for the very bad arrangement.

Cons: Unclear how to locate the felirent people at the airport, we rang asking for ‘discover cars’ and translation issues meant we didn’t know they were just the dealer and we were going to felirent. It is unclear that a credit card must be used as they charged £280 extra for using our debit card (had no credit card with us for the holiday). So communication needs to be improved.

Pros: There was no shuttle from the airport, we call them many times + sent massages, after one hour we took text to the rental car, the women there said that she didn’t get the calls and she doesn’t look in the massages, I took like an hour to get the car, the women wasn’t nice to us, when we come back it took another hour to return the car it was horrible

Pros: Alessandro from Felirent is simply amazing He s done everything for us, picked us up from the airport made the contract, everything at drop off and got us back to the airport. I really hope he gets enough recognition from Felirent for the amazing job he' s doing there.

Pros: I did not use them and have subsequently lost my deposit as they claim I could only cancel 48 hours before collection???

Cons: Totally useless service if they takes ages to come to the airport. I had no confidence whatsoever in this company and decided to hire from a reputable provider.

Cons: They never told us about ZTL nor told us we'd need to pay felirent a fee if we got a ticket (and they don't even pay the ticket, they just charge you 42€ to forward the email with the ticket, which you have to pay yourself. Really? Forwarding an email costs 42€?). Who the hell rents you a car that can't be used in Milan without even telling you you can't drive it there? They also have trouble speaking English which should be mandatory for a rent-a-car that deals with foreigners all the time.

Cons: We had to wait for 1.5 hours to be picked up at the airport. The same one person to pick up clients at the airport and to make documents at the desk. She didn't offer the car we wanted (Compact, Automatic, GPS). The content of the voucher was almost ignored. She pressed us to accept the car available (no choice, not clean, parts broken), otherwise she said she didn't care us any further. In the end, it took too much time to pick up the car in the end (it was almost 4.5 hours in total).

Cons: The car was not clean, full of dust. One of the tires was different, one mirror was missing its back cover, all the wires were hanging outside. Had to wait almost an hour to return the car as the employee was arguing with other customer. Employee was arrogant and didint even take the time to say sorry for such a delay. Office was full of bugs that were falling on our heads. Terrible service, do not recommend.

Cons: was supposed to close the office, and we would not be able to take the car, if the plane delayed more. What would have happened to us if there would be a big delay, e.x. of 2 hours???

Pros: I liked the other employee in the office when I returned the car, she was sensible and pleasant.

Cons: From arriving in Milan, to being dropped back at the airport at the end of our trip, Felirent provided a misleading and substandard service. There is not enough space to list the catalogue of inefficiencies, hidden charges, poor service and rude staff members in this section of the form.
