Pros: The car DS7 PHEV was quite new, clean and decent price, but fuel consumption very high (average 11%), although I charged the battery once. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons: The pick-up point from Malpensa Airport is a little difficult to find, it should mention that can be reached by elevator, at the second floor where are the bus stops. Full insurance is provided by DiscoverCars, not Galdieri Rent.

At the first we were offered a car of a lower segment, but for us it was too small as we had a snowboard bag + 2 pieces of 23kg bags + 2 pieces of 8kg bags, with a small sum to pay additionally we were given a car of a much higher segment and it was perfect.

Probably a lot of people are like myself and their flight requires the car be dropped off before 8 AM. My flight left at nine, but it was an international flight and I was supposed to be there three hours early. so then I had to drop off the car the night before which was not a problem except the cost of getting from the car rental to the hotel and then the airport in the a.m.

Pros: They gave me 9 seater van where the side door doesn’t close and kept beeping the whole time.Due to this the doors were not able to lock and I had all my kids sit in the last row thinking that it will open up. The whole middle seat was empty.

Cons: I drove the car out of their supplier and turned back and made aware to the agent and he was very aggressive and showed me alternative way to close which I really do not need to go through. The whole van was hacked and things were falling apart and their excuse was don’t worry you have full insurance coverage and we won’t claim from you.

Cons: Car had front glass broken but didn’t inform me and said “car is perfect”. After I checked the car ( as I always do), I found it and reported. This is not a serious way of doing as they surely knew the issue.

Cons: Rented 'economy' level car similar to C3 with 5doors and 5 seats. Was given Lancia Y. Commented at the time that it was small but told it was correct. Later in our rental realized it was only a 4 seater and had to rent a second vehicle to accommodate our group of 5 for 4 days. On return of the car I explained this to Galdieri and have not heard back from there with either an apology or compensation. All else was more than fine.

Cons: I arrived (after a 2 hour trip across Milan to get to them) at the company and they refused to give me the car that I had booked and payed for. I was left stranded at their office where I had to get back to Malpensa to find another car which I completely overpaid for as it was last minute and I was desperate. Also the agent at the rental company was rude and argued with me when I explained I had booked and paid for the car. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE AND COMPANY.
