Centauro at Milan Airport Malpensa

Cons: I was given the car keys with zero explanations, without a printed/digital rental agreement, dropped off the car and didn’t get an invoice or final rental agreement summary explaining the charges. It also would have been helpful upfront to explain to a foreigner for two minutes how to register and pay the tolls in Italy rather than have me research and figure it out all in my own.

Pros: Good location for pick up and drop off - staff were really helpful!

Pros: It's shit, they are discriminating bitches

Cons: They create rules to discriminate people

Pros: Very simple process, no pressure from them on add on.

Cons: The transport back and forth was a bit chaotic and the driver was pretty unfriendly.

Pros: Car was clean and it was a hybrid

Cons: It's a fraudulent company that practically forced me to buy the insurance as my rental was non-refundable.

Cons: Alquilé un coche automático y me indicaron que no tenían. Cómo es posible realizar una reserva específica de un vehículo automático y que no tengan? Muy disgustada Luego el coche estaba sucio, faltaban piezas

Cons: They did not go around the car with me to show all existing dents and scratches, and then claimed 600$ for a dented wheel cover that could not prove was done by me

Pros: The car was functioning fine but filthy we had to pull over to the first gas station and clean all the windows so we could see. The interior had barely been vacuumed and there was a parking ticket in it from a previous renter that was taken to jail still!! With all his personal information…just crazy.

Cons: Read above the insurance scam that they play when you go to pick up the car. We had prepaid everything when making the reservation and magically the cc doesn’t work?? It worked 30 minutes later at the 1st toll booth. Plus the car could have been cleaned better.

Pros: Car was almost new and bigger than we ordered.

Cons: Everything was perfect.

Cons: I. ever got the vehicle I booked. I had to go back to airport to find another vehicle. Centauro said my license qas not good enough. Then Sicily car hire gave me. ehicle qith no problem or atories. I tried to contact Discover cars they never came back to me or answered my calls So stay clear of Centauro and Discover cars

Pros: Good and clean car.

Cons: They charged deposit 3 times - this is far too much when you come for holiday. It was all returned after returning a car, but not acceptable. Also, still keep reservation for fuel, which was also charged twice.

Cons: Centauro is scammer company. They show low prices for cars but after that impose on you an additional insurance that costs more than a car rental. We declined it and had an extra car inspection during the drop-off. That's ok but the lady was rudy and clearly biased, her task was to find something to issue a fine. So she found a small scratch on a wheel and ask for a penalty in 215 (!!!) euro (see my photo). We provided a photo made in the start of our rent with this scratch, but she rejected it

Pros: Very disappointing experience with Centauro at Malpensa Airport. Although we had fully prepaid the rental and insurance, we were told we must either accept a €900–€2700 hold for possible tiny scratches — which they would keep if they found anything — and wait two weeks for a refund, or pay an extra €100 on the spot so they “wouldn’t need to check.” This felt highly pressuring and unfair, giving the impression that customers are pushed into extra charges no matter what. Would not recommend

Cons: I didn’t like the hidden and intimidating charges in Centauro’s policy. Even though the rental and insurance were fully prepaid, they demanded either a €900–€2700 deposit for possible tiny scratches — money they could keep and return only after two weeks — or an immediate extra €100 fee so they “wouldn’t need to check” the car. This pressure tactic felt unfair, non-transparent, and completely unreasonable.

Pros: disponibilità delle persone

Cons: blocco franchigia elevato

Pros: All good

Cons: No issues

Pros: Quick and reliable

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very good value got a week of car rental. Had read some negative reviews about the company, but found their Milan Malpensa office to be easy to deal with.

Cons: The vehicle inspection/contract paperwork was emailed to me at the point of hire. With no access to this at the time, I later discovered that the condition report was blank though the car had multiple scrapes and scratches. I took comprehensive pictures and video of the car expecting a battle at return, but there were no issues. I paid by debit card and so a large deposit was taken in insurance and four fuel. These are being returned but will take up to 30 days

Pros: People were all very nice.

Cons: At the airport, it was not clear where I need to wait for the shuttle to the car park.

Pros: It was older car. I wished to have had a newer car for the three weeks rental.

Pros: The car was handed over to me with an engine error. Even though I showed it to the rental staff, they told me to drive it anyway. That’s outrageous

Pros: Staff were vey helpful, especially the two wonderful ladies at drop off time in the morning who completed the drop off requirements and got me to the airport in good time.

Cons: Pick up from airport was greatly delayed - waited 40 mins for the yellow minibus which was supposed to be turning up every 10-15 mins. The phone number provided went to some automated system which did not get to anyone after waiting and waiting forever. This needs to be improved by Cenauro.

Cons: Booked Peugeot 3008 and was given Nissan Townstar, this is far from same class vehicle but they insisted that it is so and would not give another car. Plus they find every excuse to force you to pay for their full insurance even though I already had insurance from another company, so the 40€ booking ended up costing me over 200€.

Pros: good value for money

Cons: slow transfer from airport

Pros: everything was fine

Pros: Great car, quick service, clean and friendly and helpful

Pros: Customer service no hassles staff brilliant highly recommended

Pros: Friendly staff, no bullshit. Got my deposit refunded in less than 24 hours.

Pros: The process of picking up and dropping off the car.

Cons: There is only one shuttle bus and if busy you can wait a bit to get to the rental garage.

Cons: Long wait in line, unpleasant service. Old model car with very high mileage

Pros: Best price

Cons: The car was rented with full coverage from DiscoverCar and not from Centauro. Minor damage to the car forced us to file a claim and the first agent we saw was mad at us, not helping our case at all. However another agent came helping and she clarified the procedure to follow in 30 seconds. But I’m still not impressed with the first idiot who gave us shit

Cons: I rented a car from Centauro on April 22 and returned the car on April 29. Booking number is IR24031263 Centauro agent charged a 72,60 EUR fuel deposit on April 22, and the fuel tank was 60% full. Centauro agent told me that they would refund me 72,60 EUR deposit after I returned the car, if the fuel level were at the same 60%. On April 29, the fuel level was exactly at 60%, when I returned the car. But Centauro did NOT refund me 72,60 EUR deposit

Pros: The pick-up and drop-off service was very fast.

Cons: They pressured me to get the full coverage even though I got it through Discover Cars. The car wasn't well maintained. Front tires barely had tread and the windshield wipers needed to be replaced. Hit rain driving at night and was very difficult to see. A windshield wiper is a cheap part that I beleive should be replaced often.

Pros: Big courtesy van, enough space for luggage and skis, fast and comfortable. They have clear instructions where is the pick-up point and how it works. Very decent waiting times.

Cons: The car was equipped with summer tires in mid February. I was expecting all-season tires or winter tires for northern Italy(Milan) We got stuck in a parking lot because of that.

Pros: Fast

Cons: Fuel 70% was not handy, gave back 90% and difference was not refunded, not fair at all.

Pros: Great price.

Cons: Pick up and drop off took a little long. Only one person at the desk.

Pros: Kindness and helpfulness of employees

Cons: Locations (outside of airports area), time needed to travel from airports to Rent facilities and viceversa, shuttle service not enough frequent and its capacity not adequate to number of customers and luggages

Cons: Nog full tank- much easier understand refill full to full

Cons: Pick up could be faster

Pros: Efficient and easy

Cons: We had a hybrid car , no instruction on how to use , charge up etc and no information in car

Pros: Great price, didn't require credit card, our car was upgraded to bigger model

Cons: The shuttle back was too crowded, and wasn't organized. I almost didn't had a place to sit, because someone that arrived after me, entered before me.

Pros: Good price. Also I liked that I received my deposit to my Revolut card in just 1 day after returning the car. The media screen of the Ford Puma was very easy to use and car speakers were good quality. The fuel economy was also perfect.

Cons: There was no first aid kit in the car.

Pros: I found the car I wanted and as alternative they offered me a very similar car.

Cons: I would like to knew after booking, where I have to wait for the pick up from your shuttle bus and not calling to your phone center to get the answer.

Pros: Centauro Bergamo, where we returned the vehicle were brilliant. The staff member I deal with near Milan airport however, was rude, abrupt and should probably not be working in a role that requires good customer service, empathy or where any kind of effort to help someone is needed.

Cons: Above

Pros: Efficient and easy.

Cons: Had to spend extra time in driving there again to get the updated papers for preexisting damage.

Pros: Effiecient courteous. Car was better than model booked.

Cons: Car was dirty, especially interior which we cleaned ourselfs, there were spilt drinks on door panels and cup wells, car had no windscreen wash only plain water. Car had not been cleaned before collection.

Pros: Pick up and return was fuss free. Read several reviews that the agents would find little scratches in the car when returning. Didnt happen in my case. Perhaps it is because I got a rather old car with plenty of scratches to start.

Cons: I had to wait for quite a while at Departures in Malpensa airport for the shuttle bus to arrive. My booking was for 7am and the shuttle bus finally came at about 7.30am. Maybe its because their office starts at 7am anyway, so it probably took a while for the shuttle to arrive. Beyond that, everything was great! Take note that the petrol deposit is an actual deduction from your credit card. Because I use a foreign credit card, I lost about 10% due to currency exchange twice.

Pros: Shuttle bus waiting for us on arrival. Quality of cars

Pros: Malinina was in good condition

Cons: paid for rent 40 euros more than it was in the contract. why, did not understand. the car had more damage than in the contract. You must be careful

Pros: No deposit needed

Cons: Cross border cover wasn’t needed

Pros: Good service, very friendly staff. Good value for money.

Cons: Car could have been better cleaned.

Cons: charged for damaged that i did not do and over charged on top of it

Pros: The agents were very helpful and personable. My Ford Kuga was SPECTACULAR! Easy shuttle service and everyone there gave me recommendations for my journey ahead.

Cons: Would have liked more information about Telepass and pricing.

Pros: Everything about the car, the price and the service was perfect

Cons: I would only rent from Centauro again if they had a rental office/pick up right at the airport, very inconvenient for it to be located 4-5 km away from the airport. And no sign for where I am supposed to wait. Even the instructions on the voucher were vague, and more importantly I had to wait for 30 minutes for someone to come and pick me up

Cons: I contacted Centauro immediately after the boot on my Ford Kuga would not open coupled with a constant alarm sound going off in the car. I expressed my extreme concern that this sound would drain the battery of the car as I had to leave to the airport the following morning for an international flight. Multiple calls, no answers to the issue, no promised call back. Next morning….dead battery

Pros: everything went quick and easy

Cons: they made me to pay for more insurance because I picked up the car two hours before the agreement. didnt felt right

Pros: Efficient operation friendly and helpful staff.

Pros: Fast and efficient.. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: They never turned up , never got a rental car , rented else where and cost is more due to there incompetence

Cons: Zero service and customer skills on phone Sorry we closed 1 min ago

Cons: No explanation of hybrid usage.

Pros: Great pricing, helpful service representatives, clean and good condition automobile, ease and speed of picking up and dropping off car.

Cons: Had to wait a while for the Centauro shuttle when we arrived but after calling office, shuttle came very quickly.

Pros: Friendly and offered us an upgrade to a hybrid vehicle, as they knew we driving a great distance.

Cons: N/A

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: My details had to be copied manually into computer at pick up

Pros: Nothing special

Cons: Return of the car took like one hour, premises far away from airport, the car was of a lower class of what I hired

Pros: Office person was not nice at all. Feel like criminal.

Cons: Other personnel was nice.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: One of the worst service I have ever received from any one in hospitality industry.

Cons: We had to wait an hour for the shuttle bus

Pros: Everything, first such great experience

Cons: N/a

Pros: Clear instruction.

Cons: Slow during car pick up as little representives

Cons: Their office, both at Malpensa and Bergamo is very far from the airport, they have two small shuttles which are easily overwhelmed by the demand. More, the shuttle is a cargo van with chairs and access inside it is very difficult unless you are very sporty. Add about one hour to your plan if you hope to be in time at the airport.

Pros: Amazing service , great value for money

Cons: When we landed in Malpensa ,It was not clear where to find the shuttle bus from Malpensa terminal 1 and we did not have a phone number to call to

Pros: Friendly, very good, informative and professional

Cons: Everything was explained perfectly. And they upgraded for free with no extra charge

Pros: Very efficient and good shuttle service

Pros: Great price, car in excellent mechanical condition

Cons: Car was was not very clean (particularly windscreen), POS for credit card did not work, website to extend rental did not take credit cards (I had to use debit card), customer service reps cannot modify booking over the phone

Cons: Location not at the airport with no address to find them. I almost missed my flight and had to order a Special Taxi driver which cost me a lot of money to reach the location to drop off the car.

Cons: The shuttle service is horrible. They need more frequent pick ups or easier access to off site location.

Pros: The service team at Centauro was very professional and prompt. The pick up at Milan airport, processing of the pickup and the condition of the car was absolutely brilliant. The staff at the rental desk were knowledgable and friendly.

Cons: Everything was good. Except for the fact that the rental prices were very high, hope they come down in the near future and become more affordable.

Pros: Great service and reasonable prices. Centauro cost 50% less than other companies. We'll be back!

Pros: It's felt that the teamrealy care

Pros: To be honest with customers and to help them not to make things complicated! Smiling and kindness is always required

Cons: They gave me the car with sever damage in the front and they didn’t mention it in the paper that they gave me! When I dropped off the car they told me that the car with damage from the front! I was lucky I took video for the car before I take so I showed then the video jut to proof to them that the damage is already there before I took the car! This is really not good at all!

Pros: Clean car.

Cons: upselling insurance.

Pros: There was quick and easy drop off

Cons: To call for pick up from airport. To many people at once, long wait for pick up

Pros: the car was clean and in good condition, I received the car which I ordered.

Cons: I had to wait quite long to the the car. The insurance policies are confusing. While I got full coverage insurance over the internet, at the agency I had to buy additional one.

Cons: Slightly tricky finding the pick up bus - you dont know how long to wait - arrived after 15minutes Slightly tricky to find return address

Cons: The transfer from Malpensa airport to the offices took a bit too long and we didn’t fit in the first trip. Also, there’s no signage, we weren't sure if we were waiting at the right place or if the transfer was going to show up at all.

Pros: The car was new, bigger, as I ordered.

Cons: There was many people in the office, had to wait about 30min for getting a car. At the airport as well we waited quite long for the shuttle bus.

Pros: The car despite the damages was a good car, easy drive and confort.

Cons: I waited for the shuttle for 1h.The car had a lot of damaged parts(All damages were noted but not good for 1st impression). The person at the counter wasn't very friendly and didn't show patience and cordiality in explaining the assurance, cross-border fee and fuel fee. Once again I didn't understand why it should be blocked in my card 115 Euros for fuel if they already were going to block 1200 Euros for the deposit. As a customer there were too many "surprises" at the counter that I would think.

Pros: they steal money from customers.

Cons: i needed to go to nice for a wedding and they sent my back from turin to milan beasuce a broken glusse.

Pros: The spanish speaking (Venezuela) helping service member and flexibility when you travel with kids

Pros: Decent car, excellent pricing

Cons: All good

Pros: Professional and price competitive

Cons: A bit unclear how often the shuttle provides the trip to the car rental

Pros: Great service, good car, value for money

Cons: distance from the airport

Pros: Not much to say. The only think that I like is that they answer the phone when I call them. Most of this car Agentie they don’t answer

Cons: Long wait for car colection and return, the car i got I had to add brake fluids, reverse camera didn’t work, and many maintenance problems.

Pros: Professional staff.

Pros: All employees were friendly and flexible

Cons: Parcel shelf and mats were missing and had to return to the office to get them added to the check-out, but nothing major as they said all their cars come like that. Sure mats and shelf are useful to have in a car.

Cons: Were really pushy towards buying the additional insurance

Pros: everything was good. thanks!

Cons: nope

Pros: Child Car seat was horrible. Old and the belt were always loose no matter what. This is a serious liability.

Pros: The agent was very sweet

Cons: How there are hidden prices

Cons: You cannot contact anyone, there is no flexibility if you turn up early. Your t&c's ate completely different to the actual car lease company

Pros: I try to cancel my reservation and nobody answer email. Try to call and phone number not working. I'm willing to get my money back....

Cons: I try to cancel my reservation and nobody answer email. Try to call and phone number not working. I'm willing to get my money back....

Pros: Excellent.

Cons: slow on Sunday morning at 8.15am.

Cons: Garancy depot is above 1200 EUR It took about ONE (!) hour for all paperwork. At the end we had to cancel the reservation. Never more.

Pros: Efficient and friendly.

Cons: There was slight damage on the bumper and wheel that had been missed until we checked the car before driving away and for which we could have been held responsible when returning the car. They were quick to ament the contract form.

Pros: - Clean car in perfect condition. - Easy to return the car

Cons: - Very difficult to find the rental desk. I had to call several times and needed to wait a long time to get the bus transfer. - Non-transparent cost (insurance, travelling abroad)

Pros: I was upgraded by the brand new car (better class)

Cons: It's not that I didn't like, but please clarify in the future, that exit 6, where your shuttle stops is closed, and possible exits were only 4 and 8 (if I remember correctly)

Pros: Really good company. They are friendly and the car was new (brand 2020) and really clean.

Pros: No fuss, quick and efficient.

Cons: The roughly half full to half full fuel policy. I expected full to full which is much easier and cheaper.

Pros: Pick-up was quick but maybe due to early morning arrival. Car condition was very good. Why don't you have a small desk at Terminal 1 so that all paper work can be done at the terminal and we only take the pick-up van to collect the car only. This will save time.

Cons: There are very few people there so when you drop the car, it took me almost 45 minutes. I was about to miss my international flight. You need to have 1-2 persons on the ground to collect the car. Car rental opens at 7 am but the first pick-up van came to terminal 1 at 7.15 am.

Pros: The staff in the Malpensa office were excellent.

Cons: I was not collected and when I contacted the office number it went to head office was in Spain! I had to call Spain three times and waited 1 hr 15 min to be collected in the night, this was very distressing alone at night at the airport in Italy. This was a complete nightmare and the airport military were all trying to help me because I was so upset and unable to contact anyone.

Pros: Ease of being picked up from the airport (approx 10mins) quick to receive car

Cons: Car had extra dents that were not on paperwork

Pros: Staff kindness, clarity during process, smooth checkout

Cons: High cost of Optional incurance, limited choice of Vechicle models, distance from airport terminal

Pros: Friendliness of the staff

Cons: No complaints

Cons: Virtually no choice within car types, almost only Fiats available.

Pros: Car ok

Cons: Slow and not trustful service by eorkers

Pros: Great car and many thanks for no tkeeping me waiting and providing an automatic instead of manual which I think would have had to wait sometime

Cons: Almost all good except 10-15 wait for shuttle not being insured by centauro for breakdown

Pros: All employees including P/U staff, office personnel extremely efficeicent, helpful and friendly. Car in very good condition.

Pros: Car in good condition, reliable and quite economic on consumption

Cons: On vehicle pick up the agent asked me making the visual inspection by myself without Centauro presence. Also during process when spotted previous damage asking to be "declared" or relevant document to complete pick up process, agent responded that it was not possible to as takes some time to update their system. After insisting leaving rental office with formal declaration of previous damage, they reprinted the relevant document including previous damage as required.

Pros: Good car, good value for mony, kind service

Cons: It wasent clear that the agency is not in the airport. It took me two hours to take the vehicle after searching how to get to the agency.

Cons: Took ages for shuttle bus- close to 1 hour!

Pros: The staff were clearly under a lot of pressure with many dissatisfied customers but they were polite.

Cons: Charging for CDW which was supposed to be included. Waited an hour for pick up from the airport because they did not come until we rang them.

Pros: The car was terrific

Cons: Too slow checking out the car plus it was not nice to discover that l had to pay out more money on the car.

Pros: Good price and nice cars

Cons: Confused when i came where to find shuttle it was night and i didint see it and he had to come back for us ...we lost 1h .

Pros: Overall Service is very good, agents are very Kind and professional

Cons: I waited more than 1 hour for being picked up at the Terminal. For sure it was an exception anyhow it's not satisfing

Cons: The gps sound was not working, and it would not stick, so kept falling to the floor where obviously I could not see it. The next day, on a mountain, it had no reception whatsoever and I lost three and half hours trying to find my hotel. So I bought an Italian WiFi connection for my phone. The company would not refund the gps cost ($114) even when I returned it in the middle of the trip and they insisted it can not be taken off for the second rental, so had to pay ($230) for nothing!

Pros: Not a thing

Cons: Lies and them having no cars. Not just cars in my category but no cars at all, zero for anyone in line.

Pros: Shuttle showed up where they said, loaded my cases into the van and drove to the off-site office, which was a brand new building in pristine condition.

Cons: Nothing.
