Cons: Always a bit slow at Italian car rental desks
Pros: I didn't. I'm also still waiting for them to return the holding deposit. I was initially told it would happen immediately, now I'm being told it can take up to 30 days. Nearly 900 of my money that they have.

Cons: Pushy with insurance and car had no functional headlights which wasn’t useful to discover in the dark of the italian alps. Meant i was late getting to airport and picked up a penalty for not filling up car which I didn’t have to do because I was fixing the car lights.

Not sure what happened here in the end but think they charged me more for using a debit - guy behind the desk didn’t make it very clear. Also got stung with very expensive cross border insurance that wasn’t available to select when making the booking online originally, this was an extra £120 bringing the booking to nearly £450 in total.

Pros: They didnt rent the car to me saying the deal was not made with them but with Discovery Cars. I coundn't pick up, even after staying in the queue for more than 2 hours.
Cons: Nothing. The desk guy was absolutely rude and unprofessional saying to me: "this is too cheap for this car, we cannot rent it". I said I had done the deal with Discovery Car and he replied: "I cannot do anything, they are brokers and not the company, so I won't rent it to you". He canceled the rental and I left with no car. I had to pay way more in another rental at the airport.

Cons: My grievance is that when booking, I asked your agent to make the process as easy as possible for my wife as she is not used to travelling abroad. In response the moron you employ recommended a rental company based in Milan terminal 1 when she arrived at terminal 2. How stupid are your people. Since the service you provided to us in Majorca was equally pathetic I assume you employ idiots and then train any common sense out of them.
Cons: They lost the reservation. It took us 3 hours to finally get a car (they had given ours away, they claimed) only because the manager intervened (we asked for the manager from the beginning, but he waited 2 hours to assist us). He was nice in the end but when you have flown 12 hours and are extremely tired with three sleep deprived children under age 5 waiting for 3 hours to pick up the car, the system is BROKEN.

Cons: EVERYTHING! It literally ruined our trip, because then I had to go and wait around at the other rental car counters in the airport terminal, and pay over $500 USD for something that should have cost a fraction of this.

Cons: It was a bait-and-switch... the advertised price (the price I booked at) was very low and that's why I chose this car over the Sixt rental that I used elsewhere. When I got to the counter to pick up my reservation, the representative added another €100 for insurance, telling me that I couldn't use the insurance provided by my credit card. He also added flex fuel charges without proper explanation. I wanted to cancel the booking but it was too late at night to find another option.

Cons: it was much less expensive in Spain
Cons: He was over zealous about trying to up sell me on insurance and in fact was almost threatening about it. He over charged me and I'm having to dispute the charge with my credit card company. My contract from Discovercarhire stated one thing, but the agent charged me $28.91 more than the contract stated. He seemed dishonest, hence I would be much more careful next time when using them.

A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
A novice driver fee will apply to drivers who have held their driver license for less than 4 years.
Renters from the following country(ies): EU must provide the following documents: ID card in order to collect the car.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): EU countries.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
In order to pick up the car, domestic renters must present the following documents: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, Italian fiscal code card.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon collecting the vehicle.
If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Croatia, France, Slovenia, Switzerland.
Crossing the border is not allowed if the vehicle was picked up in Sardinia, Sicily, Apulia, Calabria. Information on the exact fee amount is available by request. In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
During the winter season (15.11. to 15.04.), Snow chains may be mandatory on certain roads in the following locations: Central Italy, Southern Italy. For more information please contact the car rental provider.
Optional extras are subject to the following additional charge(s): Premium Location surcharge, Airport Surcharge.
Delivery/collection service is not provided.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon pick up.
Diesel vehicles are available only by request upon arrival. Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
