Pros: La macchina scelta corrispondeva quella consegnata, la cortesia degli operatori molto elevata e non hanno fatto pressioni sulla copertura assicurativa.

Pros: Medewerkers waren vriendelijk, spraken goed engels. De auto was (op wat deukjes en krasjes na, maar dat is te verwachten op Sicilië) in goede staat. De medewerker maakte zowel bij ophalen als bij inleveren foto's voor me die ik ontving per mail. Er waren geen problemen!

Cons: This company is the worst i ever found. They try to sell us a insurance (300€) and treat us very badly an rudely exactly when we deny. We already had a insurance, purchased at your website. The car was full of scratchs, dents and was very dirty inside and outside. When we return the car, they try to scam us, whith a scratch that the car already had. Luckely we did made a video in the pick up. The are not a honest company and people, they are only trying to scam tourist.

Cons: We waited for 30 minutes to be collected from Palermo airport. Bad instructions to drop off at Catania airport so we spent 40 minutes trying to find it. Should sat: go to Catania airport, head for long term car park, then VIP park and rental area. Address given could not be found on Google maps, Automania didn't come up on google maps, nor did VIP park from a distance. We were in a real panic. Please provide clearer instructions for drop off.

Pros: Absolutely nothing! Automania was my worst car rental experience of all my travels. They use dishonest methods and forced us to take out additional insurance even though we were fully insured, without which we could not take possession of the car.

Cons: Terrible service! The counter person is completely unhelpful and I would never recommend renting with Automania. A claim was filed with discovercars for the insurance fees charged by the merchant when we were fully insured with Discovercars insurance.

Pros: Compared with the many horror stories of some other agencies told online, our car renting experience with Automania was normal and smooth.

Cons: We booked Automania through Discover Cars and chose the full coverage for the insurance. We didn't know till we were picking up the car that at least the theft/collision was provided by Discover Cars not Automania. The Automania agent stated how inconvenient it'd be if theft/collision happened, which must be true but it'd also be impossible for us to double the payment on the spot to buy a repetitive coverage. It'd be helpful if they communicate this earlier.

Cons: The first car had 97000 on the clock and was scratched everywhere. After leaving the depot we did 10km on the motorway and noticed the tyre warning light. We phoned and took the car back. They sent the car out knowing it was faulty as they acknowledged that it was due to be fixed in Palermo. They then tried to get us to pay 5 euros for the fuel we'd used doing the 20km to bring it back. We then left with a second car that was much newer and everything was fine after that.

Cons: Still an attempt to sell their additional (very expensive) insurance despite having paid for yours. Attempt to say yours wasn't good enough. You should organise that this doesn't happen if someone takes your insurance.

Cons: the car was overpriced, we had to buy extra insurance (additional cost of 300 euros) at the desk because we did not have a credit card in the drivers name. the desk is off site and you cant assume a tourist will have a working phone when they arrive in Sicily to call the number as per instructions. the stop is not next to the pharmacy as per the instructions. The car was average, we had problems with the wheels slipping, one of the front lights didnt work and the battery of the key was low

Cons: The battery of the vehicle we hired was faulty. We hired the vehicle for a week trip in Sicily, and on three separate occasions the car randomly wouldn't start. On one occasion, I had to seek help of three strangers, and we had to push the vehicle along the road to get it to jump start. Not good for a car that cost me circa £300 for a week of hire.

Cons: Lots of hidden costs - car washing etc after basic use. Extra charges on arrival re credit card options. One of two drivers having a credit card wasn’t enough to not incur a cost

Cons: Car was with scratches. At drop-off scratches were counted very scrupulous. I see no reason if it already contained too amny scratches.
