Drivalia at Palermo Airport

Pros: Lentissimi a consegnare il veicolo (1 ora e 20 minuti) e molto scortesi.

Pros: Drivalia where extremely helpful and friendly when collecting and dropping of the car. The car was very young and was easy to drive. They even upgraded us from a manual car to automatic on pick up. This is something I would suggest always booking when driving abroad. 10/10 service

Cons: Had to wait over 190 minutes (3 hours!) to pick up my car. Huge waiting line at the airport desk of Drivalia because of their outdated systems.

Cons: 1) the car had so many existing body damages 2) the car did not have rear camera, only had sensors and made it very difficult to drive in tight spaces in Italy 3) I was not told that it was diesel engine. I had upgraded from a Peugeot to Alfa Romeo for better driving experience but a diesel car does not give that experience.

Pros: Good value for money. The car was fresh and perfectly equipped with modern driving assistance systems, and had a low mileage. Manager spoke English, and she was friendly and helpful.

Cons: A queue for pick up the car at airport desk was absolutely insane. The biggest line among all other desks for car rental. It took 1.5 hours to get keys. I didn’t get a car I wanted and booked, just the same class instead. The car was not so clean, and dusty.

Pros: They were efficient and provided a nice car even though it was bigger than what we wanted. The car was an automatic transmission which did make it easier for driving.

Cons: Previous renter was a smoker, it smelled of cigarettes Car was in very bad shape mechanically and bodywork. As of the moment i picked up the vehicle, the suspension system was knocking, the steering felt loose, they gave me a car with no windshield washer fluid. The body work of the car was in terrible shape, scratches everywhere, dents. Horrible experience.

Pros: I had booked an automatic car on your website, and when I arrived at Drivalia, they said the car I selected they only had as manual and thus forced me to rent a more expensive car that I didn't want that was automatic.

Pros: The representative was helpful with making sure we had everything before leaving the airport.

Pros: The total experience was almost perfect and we got a free upgrade. The car was almost new, 3500 km.

Cons: The car gearbox broke down on the road and we got very bad support from Drivalia. A tow truck fetched the car, that was it and we were left with getting further all by ourselves. If Polizia Stradale hadn’t shown up and helped us with a taxi, I don’t know how we should’ve gotten hold of one! Also we were forced to go to 123 km to Catania airport to collect the replacement car. All in all that cost us a lost day and €350. So I recommend to check the road break down support terms closely.

Cons: I specifically ordered Fiat 500 and did not get it; first: this should be clarified in advance that such a type/model is not available; second: instead I got some Chinese suv, hard to drive and too big for Italian city roads, making the trip very uncomfortable. Do not recommend.

Cons: I think this is a DiscoverCars problem, not Drivalia’s, but the drop-off location in Siracusa provided by DiscoverCars was incorrect—a car dealership which was closed upon our arrival to return the car. Had to wait until the dealership reopened to receive directions to the Drivalia store. Although it was actually nearby, we would have probably never found it ourselves. Get the address right for Siracusa.

Cons: I rented a car in Leasys at Palermo Airport, everything seemd to be fine, the Guy at the desk once he reserved 600 euro asked me to have my credit card again and It sounded very unusual to me...1 Day After returning the car my bank blocked my credit card because of froud, I have only used this card for rentingn with Leasys in Palermo so I called my bank Just to assurde them that everything was fine, ..they told me that this morning my card has been registered in a website in USA, FROUD !!!
