Pros: Please don’t use my booking, as I got the date wrong when I booked it in the evening. Nobody helped me. I couldn’t sort it out, so I had to hire a car from another company.

Pros: Véhicule neuf récupéré à Palerme et rendu à Catane.

Cons: Assurance complète hors de prix, et ce n'est pas clair du tout quand on souscrit sur internet. Il y a une autre assurance qui ressemble, mais qui en fait ne sert à rien totu en coutant aussi cher.

Cons: I was told the car wasn't ready (I did arrive almost an hour before time because my plane wasn't delayed and it was quick getting through the airport). I was offered the choice of waiting an hour for the car to be ready or to pay for an upgrade to a car that was ready - it felt a bit like a scammy way to pressure me to pay for an upgrade. I've never had this sort of experience before and since Discovercars suggest selecting the pickup time an hour after landing, I don't expect this sort of thing

Cons: The car was full of scratches and damage. Very poor condition overall. The agent at pick-up was rude. She tried to sell me insurance, which I had purchased through DiscoverCars.com and once I said no to her, she was outright rude and dismissive.

Poi al momento del ritiro la carta non era più accettata mi hanno detto che non avevano altre soluzioni e quindi di andare in un altra compagnia e che potevo assolutamente annullare e farmi rimborsare! E invece ho perso 450€ grazie a loro.

Cons: I had to pay for the car again. The payment made through DISCOVERCARS.com was not acknowledged or accepted. I arrived 4 hours earlier, but was left waiting the entire time for the vehicle. There was no support or empathy from the staff.

Cons: They didn’t send me the “ factura” in the name of my company, even after I asked it directly to the receptionist We had to do a new contract because the one we did online was only good if we arrived from 11:00 to 17:00 and we arrived at 19:00!

Cons: The woman at the pick-up counter told me she was giving me a larger vehicle – a Fiat 500 – instead of the Fiat Panda I had booked. However, the car was not larger; it simply had three doors. While it did fall within the same vehicle category, it did not match our expectations. Fiat Pandas always have five doors, and we struggled to fit our luggage – something that has never been an issue with a Panda.

Cons: Although the Goldcar agent was sympathetic he failed to work out an adequate solution with DiscoverCars. I therefore paid for two rentals.

They would not cancel our booking even though they talked with gold car themselves. So they have received our money and we did not get a car. Can NOT recommend.

Pros: è andato tutto ok, anche se ogni vola devo fare foto e film in quanto i danni presenti sull'auto non corrispondono a quelli indicati sul contratto !

Cons: la differenza di regole in base all'impiegato , quello dello sportello mi ha detto per esempio che l'antenna se manca viene addebitata mentre alla riconsegna l'impiegato mi ha detto che non viene addebitata, credo che le idee tra di loro devono essere chiare.

Cons: The road assistance numbers provided did not work. I called six times to report the warning lights with no success. Either phone was cut off or I was put through to road assistance in Spain - when I was in Italy.

She stated “your car will be stolen, people drive into cars here all of the time, do not trust Discover Car” She became very rude when I declined to buy Goldcar additional insurance. Thankfully Discover cars were very clear in their documentation that I had bought the full insurance package and highlighted in red that I did not need more. Avoid Goldcar.

If we knew that we wouldn’t have booked weeks in ahead by goldcar, lost 120€ and 2,5h of time spending in the airport to get in cue and rent a car at another company.

Cons: I have been charged for an extra full cover insurance which I didnt asked for neither have accepted. Goldcar did not marked all damage from former renters. So I had them to do it before leaving with the car. That could have costed me eleven more.
